Danny Phantom <3

Ember finished her chorus, ready for her solo. She strummed, after clicking her knob, sending out the love song notes, hoping to hit the whole group with it.

 

Danny flew down to Sam and Daine, pulling them close to him, grabbed on to Tucker's arm, and went intangible. That was able to keep the four safe, but not the rest of the crowd.

 

Ember growled, her eyes glowing now. She looked at the crowd going "gah-gah" over each other.
"Oh brother," she said, face palming. She switched her knob to the end, and strummed, canceling out the spell. She looked at the clock, realizing she was there too long. She chuckled.
"I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm late for an appointment," she cackled. She strummed her guitar again, making her and her band disappear.

 

Danny released the three, breifly looking at Daine and then flew around behind Casper High without a word.

Daine's lips curved into a smile. "I'd like to get to know him," She murmured.

Danny ran back up to Sam, Tucker, and Daine. "I didn't miss anything, did I?"

"Just a cool ghost fight!" Daine grinned.

Danny couldn't help but smile. "I'm sure there'll be more where that came from."

 

Sam glared at Daine. "May I have a word with you?" Before Danny could answer Sam dragged him behind a tree.
"I dont trust that girl." Sam said.

 

"Oh come on, Sam," Danny sighed. "I'm being careful. I know Vlad's got something to do with this so I'll keep on my toes. Okay? I think she's a nice girl though."

 

"What else do you think about her?" Sam said while glaring at him.

 

"That she's being used by Vlad like Dani was," Danny answered. "But I can't prove that so I'm giving her a chance."

 

"Fine, but if she asks you out, IT'S ON!" Sam said with fury and determination in her eyes.

 

Danny's cheeks flushed. "What? Sam, she may not be blood related to me, but she's technically my cousin; just like Dani is. Uh... we should get to school. We're late thanks to Ember."

"Hey!" Daine called. "What are you doing over there?"

 

Ember was up on the top of the roof of a large building, lying on her stomach and watching them talk. She looked down at the girl Daine. She was thinking about needing someone to help her in the group. She went intangible and floated down next to her. Trying to make Danny not notice.
"So, you're friends with them?" she asked softly, still invisible.

 

"What's it to you?" Daine asked back. "Did my dad send you here?"

 

"Nothing Daine." Sam walked ahead.

 

"You mean Vlad? No, he didn't send me... I'm just needing help keeping tabs on Danny," she smirked.
"Ya know kid, you don't look half bad and you don't seem half bad. You interested in being in my band?" she asked, wondering her answer.

 

"I'm already working with my dad," Daine answered. "I've got a job to do concerning Danny. I don't have time for being in a band."

Danny followed Sam. "Come on, Daine; we're going to be late." He called back to her and then looked back ahead with a sigh. "Lancer's bound to give me detention."

 

"The band is keeping tabs on Danny too, so if you ever need any tabs, come and ask.... What exactly is Vlad having you do with Danny?" she asked, concerned...

 

"How do I know I can trust you with that?" Daine questioned.

 

"Where's Daine?" Sam asked Danny.

 

"Because, I have plans to work for Vlad. With Danny out of the way, I can blow out the world with my music..." she chuckled.

 

Danny turned around to look at Daine after Sam's query. "Daine? Something wrong?" He raised his voice enough for her to hear.

"I've got to bring Danny to my dad," Daine said to Ember. "He told me that Danny is an evil ghost that wants to hurt him. He adopted me because of what I can do, and he said that if I can bring Danny to him that he'll be able to stop Danny from doing any more evil." She explained quickly, hearing Danny's call. "I like your music, so it looks like I'm helping two people. You can talk to my dad if you want more details." She ran over to Danny and Sam. "Sorry," She smiled. "I was just thinking about Danny Phantom. He's so amazing."

Danny smiled. "Yeah, he's pretty cool, huh?"
