And a continuation to what I was saying earlier, you might also want to look at the accusor as well. It's one thing to look like you're Kira, but it's another thing to have a plan to make it look like someone else.

I'd find no gain in killing someone who was an accusor. If I were the killer, I would simply just kill the person being acused of being Kira. What's the point in keeping an innocent man alive, no?

You can retract accusations by editing it out of your post before the Shinigami gets to it.


And before, someone could make a Mikami with the entire book, be accused, be declared innocent, then get the book back and continue being Kira while being "innocent."

I should know, I've been that Mikami for a perfect round

 

It was honestly a coincidence that they died. Kira 2 (the one with four eyes) suddenly used them. Kira 1 also killed. It was surprising though, and completely unplanned.

Anyway, let's process these accusations.

Chevalier, with a large amount of research, convinced the team that Marcell was worth investigating. As he was a newcomer, the team was reluctant to agree, but ultimately, they imprisoned Marcell to see whether it'd make a difference. After the first week, the kills still occurred. After the second week, the kills still occurred. After the third week, the kill stopped, and Marcell admitted to being Kira.

Just kidding. The kills continued through the third and fourth weeks too, and Marcell did nothing except sit blankly in his cell. Eventually Chev was forced to conclude that he was mistaken, and Marcell was declared innocent. Sadly it turns out that Marcell was 'sitting blankly' because he died of a fatal heart attack a week in, at at Thursday, 3 February 2011 at 21:35.


Chevalier then made another breakthrough. The culprit was definitely Lilbueno! Convinced, he went to arrest him, against the expressed opinions of other investigators. However Lilbueno was not co-operative. When Chev confronted him, Lilbueno reacted violently. The rest of the Detectives found Chev slowly bleeding to death from a gunshot wound from Lilbueno. He dies at Thursday, 3 February 2011 at 21:46. Lilbueno was already dead from a heart attack at that point, having died at Thursday, 3 February 2011 at 21:35.


As such, they concluded that Lilbueno was innocent.

Interesting argument.

Point for discussion: What's the general consensus on making the free accusation unrestricted by the 24 hour rule?

As another thought, shall we change the eye kills to be non-stacking? So it'll only be one free kill per day, no matter how many days go by?

Also, guys, please don't edit posts to change accusations. It gives me a headache due to accusation times not matching up and the like. Retract the accusation in a post afterwards or something.

I'm pretty sure the Kira still have at least one free kill left each.
