Well as it stands i'm guessing your name is either easy to find out, or you know each other from outside of KH Vids as you may or may not recall you died from a name kill

so if i were to see that one of you dies of a name kill again i may repull this comment as evidence for kira, but then again i don't think you'd do that, and if i'm wrong or way of the mark oh well XD

As of the revision of the rules a while ago, IIRC, the only evidence-accusations considered valid are those that are made based on the Clues.

Clues are the yellow things released at the second day of the round. They are a code of some kind, that will give away the Kira's name. You are supposed to base your accusation on these. Hints are the blue things that aid in solving the Clues. Hints mean nothing unless used in conjunction with the Clues, so an accusation based ONLY on a Hint is invalid.

When was that rule changed? I missed that, I thought you just had to give a valid reason - it didn't have to be clue related. That way i you've got an incredibly hard clue, we can still catch the kira or if there is no available clues. I understand that hints alone can't be used, but clues shouldn't be the only type of evidence-accusation allowed.

Also, in the rules you say:

I'd prefer to lock it down to Clue specifically, because otherwise you get accusations such as "Pika_power hasn't posted much this round" or "Pika_power is acting suspiciously" or "Pika_power sounds kinda like 'Kira' if you're drunk and suffering from an epileptic fit."

That's just my viewpoint though. If there's clear opposition to the rule change, it won't go through.

 

The only problem with the first one is that it can be evident that someone is Kira. Kira is usually somewhat paranoid and behaves carefully which usually has the effect of him/her acting out of his/her normal pattern. People might post more to seem more innocent or post even less to make it seem like they haven't been around to be Kira. The second one needs to have some kind of back up as to how they're acting suspiciously. The third one...Well, that is true xD In all seriousness, I think that's up to the Shinigami to decide if the evidence is strong enough to be used as an accusation, but it wouldn't be fair to make accusations solely based on clues.

I agree with this. Aren't clues only released if the Kira doesn't kill within 24 hours so if there are no clues then the detectives are forced to use their free accusation when really there could be another valid reason.

 

^This makes a lot of sense. I'd rather people use proper logic in accusations rather than flinging a free accusation to prevent an eye kill.

 

I accuse Fearless as my free accusation. I expect the method of interrogation to somehow involve tomato sauce and unicorns. Have fun with that one P :D

Okay, it seems as though there's been a fairly consistent reply on the notion to change evidence-accusations to Clue-accusations. It'll stay as-is.

No negative feedback has been given on the other suggestions, though, so if someone has a problem, speak now, or forever hold your peace.

For the record, you get a random Hint PMed per day, and the Clue is always released on the second day.

Fearless is taken in for interrogation, 1984 style. She's put on a drip feed of tomato sauce laced with various toxins, and ordered to look at a picture of a Kuriboh. Every few minutes, she would be asked "Is the Kuriboh a unicorn yet?" and every time, she would reply "No, not yet, there are still only three lights."
