Death Note Game

No time to do all accusations, I'll just do this one.

[highlight]Accusation:

Mako Tsunami[/highlight] sat in his dark little room by his desk. With a demonic smile, he wrote words on a notebook, like using a sword. Suddenly, a detective came in. They both smiled as Mako Tsunami extended his hand, with the white notebook in his hand. I-Don't-Know, the detective, took the notebook, smiled and with a quick sleight of hand, cuffed Mako Tsunami into his chair. Suddenly, without a moment's forewarning, the other detectives opened fire, shooting through the door, piercing through Mako's and Keyblade Spirit's bodies.

After ceasing fire, the detectives barged in through the now splintered door. What they found was odd, two bodies, like supposed and a note on the wall, completely unharmed.

[highlight]MAKO TSUNAMI IS A CULPRIT[/highlight]

 

At a meeting, SakiM stood up and dramatically pointed a finger at Fayt-Harkwind. "J'accuse!" he triumphantly shouted. "I accuse you of being L!" Fayt looked a tad taken aback, then straightened his tie, and asked calmly, "what of it?"

Stunned, SakiM stood in place. Eventually, he stood down, muttering a brief apology about how "that sounded better in my head...".

"I imagine it did," Fayt continued, "and now my secret is out, I'll probably die a humiliating death. But no matter. I'll attempt to aid the investigation until my death."

GUILTY (of being the symbol of supreme justice, L)

Because SakiM just revealed L to the Kira, the rest of the detectives took him out back and beat him, suspecting he was Kira. However it turned out he wasn't Kira, and just a misguided investigator.

INNOCENT

Fayt-Harkwind was frantically trying to balance jotting down notes on Kira, while symultaneously attempting to bake Wofie a Birthday cake. It was all going well, and he was coping, until he absent-mindedly smeared the notes with butter and cooking oil and stuck them in the oven at 200 degrees. He only realised the mistake when he went to jot down a breakthrough on the Kira case, and found he was writing on a bottle of eggs. He rushed to the oven to salvage his flaming notes, but during his thrashing about in the oven, he severed the gas cooker pipe, causing the oven to asplode on his face.

SakiM was playing a game of tennis again a peculiar stranger, who appeared to be steadily increasing in skill. SakiM endevoured to match him, and did so for a time, until a smirk came to his face. SakiM initially thought that meant he was about to play seriously. It happened to be the last thought he had, as the next serve smashed into his face, fracturing his nose and sending cartilage straight into his brain, killing him.

So it has come to be that our first L has died.
Well this sucks.
Because he didn't set up a successor.

So my job as Watari is over because the L legacy has already ended, regardless of Fayt's ability to deduce the truth from his "L hints" his plans put him in a position where he was trapped, his suspects turned out to be a dead end, as was his career being L.

But the fact that he was L doesn’t stop you guys from bringing him back with a death eraser. Unfortunately the advantages of being L don’t come from the grave. But he was chosen as the very first L because of his ability to deduce so if you guys are in a dilemna and you have a hint/death eraser I reccomend him.

But since the legacy of L is over, then this is the only Watari post you’ll see this round.

I hand in my letter of resignation as Watari for the rest of this round.
(yeah if I have official Watari business will be in this style as long as I am Watari.)

Well, you were the Kira. Thus, when your Mikami is killed, you lose the game also, regardless of who accused him. That is how I've always read the rules as.

 

Awww damn, sorry for revealing your identity, I really though L was kira =S

 

Aww. Oh well. My plan was to accuse the other Kira too and attain ultimate victory. Oh well.

Is it me or does Keyblade Spirit almost always have a Death Note? Isn't this like his 5th time out of 9 games or something xD

I was also under the impression that one could hand over their Death Note to someone, then accuse that someone to get victory. Admittedly it's never happened, but still...

 

But that takes the fun out of it :lolface:

 

You can, but technically that person is still his Mikami/Misa.. And previously, if Mikami/Misa was caught, so was the Kira, so why make exceptions?

Make no mistake KS, you still won part of this round.

Okay, good. I mostly did this to create the situation to clarify it for future rounds. Also for the lulz.

 

Not as far as I know. The person caught with the Death Note (or a fragment of the note) bites the bullet, but others only get caught if they're actively accused. That's the appeal of ditching the DN.

We'll discuss it more next round?

I also need to ask about in-transit Death Notes, as that came up this round too, but I'll do it later.
