Spaztic Fantaztic is captured on suspicion of being Kira. As usual, the Detectives rolled a D100 to decide what interrogation method to use. For Spaztic, they rolled the "30 days and nights locked in the basement" method. However after weighing up the options, Spaztic decided he couldn't afford to lose that much time, so he played his trump card. "I am L!"

Watari confirmed it, and revealed L did in fact have a successor.

Spaztic Fantaztic is Innocent

Realising there wasn't much time left before Kira killed him, Spaztic took up anyone on their accusations.

Noise got arrested first, and he rolled the traditional glue-gun treatment, with a modifier of stables. So instead, he was stapled to the inside of a hobo-box and left there overnight. The hobo nawed down to his wrist, but he didn't confess to being a Kira.

INNOCENT

Axel-chan was also interrogated, but regrettably, rolled "left alone in front of space-time continuum with paper clips". Her guard burst into the room, grabbed the paper clip supply and swallowed it, before clawing his throat out and writing on the wall "NEVER AGAIN" in his own blood, before collapsing.

Alex856 was yet another person accused. He rolled a natural 20. However, as it was on a D100, it was a fairly average interrogation, with whips, fire-breathing sharks and scenarios the Shinigami will elaborate on later.

INNOCENT

Fearless turned up to the HQ, just as L decided to arrest her on Alex's orders. She asked to be locked up until they were satisfied of her innocence. L complied. She remained composed for the first week, but afterwards, she mysteriously changed her attitude and started screaming her innocence. Eventually she's proven innocent, and helps hunt the DN to a corrupt businessman. They take him down and recover the Death Note. As L handed it to her in the chopper for her to examine, her eyes widened as her memories rushed back to her. She burst into insane laughter, and shouted 'It's over L! I've won!"

Sadly, in her god-complex ecstasy, she forgot he was right beside her. He grabbed it off her, signed her up to interrogation again, at which point she confessed everything, and was promptly executed. As always, the Death Note vanished as soon as everyone turned their backs.

ROUND 10 END

Game summary:
Keyblade Spirit was given the note by Tikem initially, but he gave the Death Note to Mako Tsunami as soon as he got it. He went along with Mako for a while, then accused him, thinking he could go on to win the game. Tikem had other ideas, and he was killed. A vote for how this will be played in future will be made.

Cherry Berry, given the note by me, played as Kira for a while, then asked me if it were possible to give Fayt the entire book. I said it was, but I mentioned Fayt often refused position of Kira when offered. She offered him Mikamiship, with the express words tacked on "If he refuses, send the Death Note to Midnight Star immediately". Fayt refused, then posted an accusation a minute later. However because the Death Note can be moved around provided it is not accused when with someone, in that minute, it was offered to Midnight Star (not literally in the minute, but a Shinigami's tardiness does not impact the Kira's decisions, so it is treated as if it was offered in that minute). Midnight Star received the book, along with a message that I had just told L everything as his hint. She forwarded it to Fearless, just in time for L to accuse her. Again, the note escaped. Then she was accused by Alex. However it brought up some interesting questions about in-transit Death Notes.

Fayt was given L-ship. He was given this hint

before he was offered the Death Note by Cherry. He accused her, but she was innocent. Then he got this hint

and accused Midnight Star, who was also innocent. At this point, he set up a successor in Spaztic, and promptly died. He got Watari to lie about the true inheritance. Spaztic got the following hint before the round ended:

This round saw two unclear rules:

1. non-note Kira accusing Death Note Mikami. Does the Kira get killed too, or can he solve the game? I played it as a Kira no longer being anything more than a player once he lost the DN, but Tikem played it differently. How do you think it should be played?

2. In-transit Death Notes. What happens, for example, if person A sends a Death Note to person B, but before B can accept, person A is accused? I played this as A being innocent, as otherwise Kira can be held up by the Shinigami's schedule, but as B hasn't accepted, B would also be innocent if accused, creating a situation where the Death Note is out of the game. I dealt with this scenario by giving a strong hint in the interrogation that they had recently passed on a Death Note, and cameras are installed in case of B refusing the note, in which case it would be returned to A automatically, and caught by the cameras placed. This method means the Detectives get a pseudo-clue (as they find out who had the note before it was passed) and it covers the possibilities. This is how I plan to play it in future if there are no major objections.

As for round 11, it starts once we agree on the above issues and get 13 players.

 

I'm up for playing as Watari again. Lol it gave a different dynamic to the game.
Detectives I would like to remind you that the role of Watari is a connection between you and L you can ask L a question and if L decides to answer I can send his message on to you. XD

In that occasion i think that Kira should turn on a simple detective. I agree with you on that. Now the second rule is a bit too complex but whatever.

The second is a tad complex, but I personally feel it's the best choice, because it notifies the detectives of what's going on, and it doesn't screw over a Kira via a Shinigami's laziness.

Oh yeah. We'll keep L and Watari around for the time being. Gobolo can stay on as an ice-cream server. (Kind of like a Linux server, but sweeter)

I'm all for Kira being treated as a normal detective when he is accused if he has a mikami - it makes the game more complex and tricky.

And I like the second rule proposal. However, what if Kira tries to get a Mikami and before it is accepted or denied Kira is accused. After that the Mikami accepts the DN. Later the Mikami gives Kira the DN back - since there is surveilance does it get picked up?
Otherwise there would always have to be a Mikami...

 

One thing I would like to address is that I couldn't handle most accusations due to me not knowing who has the Note...
