I'll have you know there was a lot of backstage work put into the capture of Kira.

But you guys caught Kira before those plans got put into motion. So that work was for naught.

Anywho back to studying

Alex856 climbed out of the frozen pool 50m outside the skating rink. He had fallen in on purpose, and accessed scuba gear he placed there earlier. He then put his current clothes onto a fake corpse he had planted there, and freed it from the seaweed holding it down. It floated up and stuck to the ice, where it was soon mauled by a seal, making it nigh unrecognisable. Satisfied, he swam almost naked to 50m outside and climbed out. He then immediately called L and got her to botch the autopsy, so Kira would be certain he was dead.

A day later, after his death was 'confirmed', he openly walked into the HQ, dramatically pointed his finger at a Detective, and shouted, "I know the truth! You are Kira!"

Alex856 is NOT dead, and gets a free accusation

 

I haven't seen a Matsuda Manoeuvre before. So Kira used the wrong name then.

 

Got to be careful in getting the right name. People keep trying to kill me with my middle name, I think.

Anyway. I accuse Axel-chanviii under the grounds that she was not only one of the last 20 users on Alex's profile, but the only one in that top 20 that fits Pika's hint.
