That'd be me. I was about to accuse you when I saw CtR's post. I waited a little bit, then decided I'd just accuse you regardless.

Flap flap flap. The Kira seemed unable to time the deaths correctly, meaning you guys get a hint.

The order to capture Jiku Neon was given to an officer as he was on his way home from work. The officer was tired, so he stopped by Jiku's house, tazed her to stop resistance and bound her hands and feet using an excellently tied hangman's noose knot. He had recently perfected that knot after his fifteenth failed suicide attempt due to there not being enough sprinkles on his doughnut. Being extremely lazy, he bundled her into a cardboard box in his car, taped it shut, stuck a stamp on it and mailed it to the police quarters. Due to an error in the system, it was re-routed to go to New Zealand by submarine. In the time of her absence, the police force took the time to thoroughly search her room. They found nothing. The entire room was simply white, with hundreds of large mirrors placed on angles seemingly randomly. They closed the door on their way in and spent the remainder of their shift attempting to discern which was way up, which way was down and which wall/mirror they should be patting down to find the (also very white) door handle. When Jiku was eventually mailed back to her home, she discovered the corpse of three police officers in her room, starved to death. The investigation was halted due to all officers assigned to cover her resigning.

Hmmmm....this is getting veeery interesting. *pacing back and forth* who could it be :|

 

The 17 investigators are dispatched to find Cherry, but when they reach her apartment, they merely find a note. "Rokkenjima". After research, they discover it is a small island near Japan. They travel there with the intention of arresting Cherry and bringing her to justice. They spend a single day searching the island for her, but an unexpected typhoon blows in, trapping them. They resolve to stay overnight in the mansion. The wake up to the sound of cackling. Looking around, they discover to their horror, six of their number killed, their faces completely smashed in. They are only able to recognise them from their clothes. Ghetto, Noveau Nova, Oblivion Roxas, Revelry, What? and Midnight Star are the ones found to have died.


Shocked at the twisted way the note was used, the remaining make their way around the island in the typhoon, searching for Cherry. Beginning to wonder how their own names and faces were discovered when they hadn't seen the Kira, they begin to suspect those among themselves. Jiku Neon and Guardian Soul are the victims of the witch hunt, so are strip-searched and locked in the kitchen. The remaining ten search more, and discover a door they were unable to open. As they are walking past the kitchen, they notice blood dripping from under the door. They open it to find a build up of blood, bone and gore around the door. On the table, 20 grotesque plates are set out, each one with one of Jiku's or GS's fingers on them. They are embedded in the pair's various internal organs, including kidneys, brains and livers.



The trauma is unfortunately too much for Spaztic Fantaztic, who flees, screaming the glory of Kira.



The eight decided to lock themselves away in the dining room, now only wishing to escape with their lives, unable to contact the world due to the typhoon. After a long while of sitting there, they hear a thud from the hallway. Hell Kaiser, Aeon Sora and Graxe open the door and venture around the corner, only to find SF, who appears to have rammed him forehead directly onto a sacrificial knife shaped like a cone.



While out in the corridor, they smell an burning smell. Following it, the trio venture down into a dark boiler room, Hell Kaiser in front of the other two. When the rest enter, they find the Kaiser with another sacrificial knife embedded in his chest, dead. They also locates the source of the strange smell. It is the body of Cherry, slowly smouldering in a furnace, barely recognisable, a knife in her belly. They barely notices though. Instead, their eyes are affixed to what's in front of the furnace. A black bound book, with the words "Death Note on the cover. It was open to a single page.



"I may die here, but the Shinigami of the island will avenge me. For when the seagulls cry again, none shall be left alive"



Taking the book, they make their way back to the five waiting for them, but somewhere, they take a wrong turn. The five in the room hear two screams from their room, and deduce what happened. They decide to investigate, but all travel together, unlike last time. They arrive in the main hall, with a large picture of a Shinigami on the wall. Underneath is a sheet of paper, similar to the cover of the Death Note. On it is written the following message:



"He who lays hand upon the Death Note shall travel under the rules below.



At the first twilight, you shall lift up as sacrifice the six chosen by the Note.

At the second twilight, the surviving shall tear apart the two who are close.

At the third twilight, the surviving shall praise my honorable name on high.

At the fourth twilight, gouge the head and kill.

At the fifth twilight, gouge the chest and kill.

At the sixth twilight, gouge the stomach and kill.

At the seventh twilight, gouge the knee and kill.

At the eighth twilight, gouge the leg and kill.

At the ninth twilight, the Shinigami shall appear and none shall be left alive.

At the tenth twilight, the journey shall end and you should reach Mu."



In front of the portrait, Graxe and Aeon Sora lie dead, Graxe with a knife in his knee, Aeon with it in his leg.



Tikem, CTR, Gobolo, Mako and ICSP look at the sheet, and then at the message in the Death Note. They are alerted to a noise from in front of them. The Shinigami appears to be stepping out of the frame, pen and notebook in hand...



Further investigators went to the island after the typhoon cleared, and discovered no life. The beach and dock were strewn with lumps of flesh which the seagulls fed on, but nothing was recognisable as human. When they entered the mansion they discovered 13 bodies with various stab wounds, some with no faces. There was evidence of more dead, especially in the main hall, where a tide of blood and bone covered the floor, but it was all distorted beyond the point of being human.

Later, a wine bottle with a note from a notebook was discovered by a fisherman. It is suspected to be the only link to the five missing.

I'm also in. I'm lettin' Kira go a bit easily for a few rounds. No accusations from me. I'm sure other people will have no trouble.

I'm predicting that this round will be an intresting one. I saw it in a dream. And I've got proof that I'm a precognitive dreamer.

 

I think it is safe to assume I will be in this round too~
