Death Note Game

If we don't make an accusation, Kira gets himself a free kill out of all the detectives. If we do though, then the list of who could be Kira gets narrowed down.

Problem being, who will be the accuser?

P I must dissagree with that rule. If Kira cannot get a kill... its either bad luck, or an incompetitent Kira.

Aeon_Sora was sitting in HQ, tapping away at a keyboard next to DemyxPlaysMySitar. Both were working late into the night, and had ordered a late night pizza to divide between them. They were munching away at them happily when DemyxPlaysMySitar suddenly stopped typing, face pale. On her screen was the fruits of her scans and searches for suspicious people: Aeon_Sora's profile. She looked towards him and said in a faint voice "It's you, isn't it?"
Realising he was caught, Aeon_Sora sighed and replied, "I guess since you know, I'll have to kill you..."
DemyxPlaysMySitar sat there for a few long seconds, processing what he said. Summoning courage from somewhere, she let out a terrible scream and grabbing a nearby ballpoint pen, she leapt at him. The weight of her body and the element of surprise knocked him off the chair, and pupils terrified dots, she brought the pen down onto his thrashing body again and again. Eventually he stopped moving, possibly out of intelligence. Detectives from other departments came to investigate, and pulled her off Aeon_Sora's blue and bloody body. She explained the situation, and was allowed to return home.

Later, Aeon_Sora woke up in the emergency ward of the hospital, unable to see out of one eye, a strange blue stain in the corner of the other, and everything tasting of ink. As soon as it was noticed that he was conscious, investigators came to visit him. They told him they had searched his house and found nothing, but would like to question him on the dialogue he exchanged, particularly his confession to owning and using the Death Note in the line "I guess since you know, I'll have to kill you." Aeon's ink-stained eyes widened, finally realising what had happened. "I thought she was talking about how I ate one of her slices of pizza! The killing comment was just a joke!"

Ink-stained, but INNOCENT

DemyxPlaysMySitar was in her room, pondering a name change on her favorite website: kh-vids.net. She wanted to come up with a username that was another sexual innuendo about Demyx, for she had grown tired with "DemyxPlaysMySitar". She had a pencil in her hand, and was sitting at a desk with a piece of paper on it. Written on the paper were several options for her name change, such as "DemyxStrumsMyYouKnowWhat" and "DancePenisDance", but DemyxPlaysMySitar wanted to come up with something better. She was beginning to get frustrated with her lack of creativity, so she picked up the piece of paper off of her desk and crumpled it up. As the thin paper turned into a rough ball in her hands, one of the edges of the paper cut the area between her index finger and thumb. She dropped the paper and immediately stuck the cut section of her hand in her mouth.

She proceeded to walk into her bathroom and look in the cupboard. There were no bandages left in the box in there, so she threw it away and went to go ask her neighbor for one. As she was crossing the street, a truck she hadn't seen or heard hit her with full-force. The impact knocked her over and she was thrust under the truck, which swerved out of the way, though it was too late. One of the eight wheels of the truck crushed her skull as it swerved, and DemyxPlaysMySitar was dead. Thanks to a nearby speed camera, it was discovered that she died 7:00 PM, March 21st.

I have a question. I know every detective gets one freebie per round, but does it have to be our first accusation? Meaning, if i make an accusation but provide a reason do i still get a freebie?

Anywho, I accuse Mako Tsunami, on the grounds that he refused to accuse at a critical time. Obviously he was afraid of putting his name up for grabs and knew everyone would get suspicious when he didn't die.

 

If I was Kira, I would've just stayed offline and let you guys skip your chance to accuse and pick off whoever I wanted.

Now might it be a good idea to limit each detective to one accusations per every 12/24 hours?


Accusations:

Many officers were dispatched when they learned that Mako Tsunami was to be arrested under suspicion of being Kira. They encircled the aquarium where he worked, intending to wait for him to exit. However Mako did not leave. Instead, a voice sounded over the megaphone. "I have no intentions of coming quietly."

On hearing this, the police received the order and slowly entered, tazers at the ready. Before they knew it, he had taken down two of their number with a few thrusts of a blunt trident. The other three in that group attempted to stun him with the tazers, but the thin tazer-needles were anticipated by the fisher, and blocked by a a hanging surfboard sign he wrenched down. He swiped with the board, flooring the men. Before they could radio for re-enforcements, he knocked them out and headed for the other groups. However, one of the men was not unconscious, and managed to get a shot off at Mako with the stun-gun. Despite having over 50,000 volts poured into him, he resisted, and weakened, turned and fled, diving into the shark tank. Many officers entered and surrounded the tank, but none were eager to enter to retrieve him, so instead decided to wait for the sharks to finish him. After many hours and no shark attack, they decided on a different tac. They drove their cars up to the pool, detached the car batteries from the vehicles and simultaneously dropped them in. The entire pool sizzled, then Mako and the sharks went out without a sound.

Mako was taken to HQ and waterboarded for information, but nothing was learned. In fact, all through the procedure, he gurgled with what the torturer said was laughter.

After examination of the premises, there was no Death Note found, but it appeared that the aquarium had a secret compartment with significantly more fish than it was legally allowed to have, including a giant squid and many previously undiscovered species. It is thought that Mako was attempting to keep them hidden when he resisted the police.

INNOCENT


^_^Zexion's Real Wife^_^ was arrested on Keyblade Spirit's recommendation, despite having no connection to the Kira case. She was held in custody while her house was examined, and no Death Note was found. There were multiple photographs and videos of ZRW and Terra engaging in a hidden relationship, and multiple letters referring to Terra's "XXXXXXXL KEYBLADE" and cryptic messages such as "Please stick your key in my lock and turn" but that was not worthy of arrest. So after taking copies of the X rated tapes for personal use, the police department dismissed her.

DEFINITELY 100% KIRA/sarcasm

Deaths:

Ghillie in the Mist was testing out his new sniper rifle on unsuspecting citizens. The gun was said to be perfect in all possible ways. He looked at the clock, 7:30 AM March 21st. He aimed and pulled the trigger. He felt the recoil, but no bullet was shot. Ghillie, surprised at the fact, took a look at the barrel...

Morning rose and a detective chanced upon a body. He immediately recognized it as Ghillie's. He classified his death as suicide.

 

Deaths:

ArchVice was overjoyed. An anonymous admirer had sent him a truck full of apples. He jumped in, eating most apples whole. In a few hours, the truck driver realized that he hadn't seen the guy the apples were for move for a long time. He stepped out of the truck to see if something was wrong. What he saw was a dead man, apparently choked by the very thing he was to eat. The autopsy timed his death at 8:30 AM, March 22nd.

Accusations:

SpazticFantaztic was sitting in his room, when the doorbell rang. He got up and answered it. At the door were two police officers, who politely explained the situation. Spaztic nodded and followed along, getting into the back of the car without a fuss. He was taken down to headquarters, and orderly strip searched. Nothing unusual appeared to be on him, so they locked him in the cell while his room was examined. Nothing was found, so they decided to release him.

INNOCE-

"OBJECTION!"



Just as the detectives were about to let SpazticFantastic go, the door opened. Wind blew with a sinister tone as a man in a trench coat stepped in. The man took of his sunglasses, revealing a blue glow. He opened his mouth, uttering but a few words: "This isn't over." The detectives were baffled by the man's words, until Bushido In The Bedroom shouted the name of a fellow detective: "Tikem! What is the meaning of this?"

Tikem looked at Bushido and pulled out a white notebook. He wrote something using red ink. Moments later, SpazticFantastic :3 died from a heart attack.

"Let me break it down for you: Another Kira is on the loose", Tikem said, his voice sounded empty. Bushido, quick to think on his feet, emptied his Beretta on Tikem, only to find that the bullets phased through his body, leaving him unscathed. Tikem looked at him coldly and without saying anything, took out his notebook and jotted something down. Then, the Shinigami spread his wings and took off as both Keyblade Spirit and Bushido simultaneously collapsed of fatal heart attacks, leaving the detectives terrified.


For the remainder of this round, I am merely the Accusation manager. Tikem, having revealed himself, is now managing the kills of the second Kira.

And yes, there have been two Kiras since the beginning. Tikem has been managing their kills, and getting me to post the PMs. And yes, Spaztic was a Kira. And yes, Bushido and Keyblade spirit were just killed. Their names were written in the note anyway though.

 

Plot twist and Phoenix Wright BGM. I'm starting to like this more and more.
