Death Note: The Past Future

"I'm actually admitting I shouldn't of done it for once." Mello sighed pulling his body back up onto the bed. "I don't even know why I did it. I just started yelling before I'd thought about what I was doing..." He explained, hanging his blonde head in shame. "I've tried appologizing and everything this time. But she just won't bl**dy listen."

 

"be persistent, even as big headed as girls are, they'll sooner or later crack... or at least the girls that i've... met." matt said sitting on his bed.

 

"But this is Juliet we're talking about, you know? She doesn't get mad at anyone, and she certainly doesn't get mad at me..." Mello sighed, for the time he'd been alone he'd been playing through everytime he'd been mean to her, he shouted at her, he'd ordered her around like a dog or a child. And he disgusted himself, he'd done it all without so much as an appology once. Was it any wonder she was angry with him? She'd been nothing short of adoring to him, and he'd been nothing short of a monster in return.

 

"whatever dude... it's your life you gotta figure it out on your own... even if you're in some pretty deep sh*t..." he said laying down.

 

"This coming from the guy who'll be dead by the time his old enough to drink in most countries. And L is still p*ssed at you best I can tell, he kinda gave me the "I'm very disapointed in you" Lecture again and didn't speak much to me again..."

"Juliet" L muttered turning around. "Do you want to talk to Mello about it or not, it's as simple as that..."

 

matt rolled his eyes at the usually comment about his smoking, " and taht came from the guy that will die of a heart attack befor he gets to the age it's even legal for him to smoke. anyways L is always 'disapoited' in me so meh..." he said.

 

"Ah, 'meh' the greatest word in your vocab." Mello sneered brushing his hair from his face. "You can fit oh so much into that on syllable can't you Matty?"

"I... I do." Juliet nodded. "I don't want him to think I'm trying to be mean or something stupid like that..."

 

"indeed" matt said sneering and looked up at the ceiling.

 

"then let's see him..."

 

"Anyway, since when did you have girlfriends? I though all the girls here where to smart for you to conn them into it."

"Yep." Juliet nodded, following ofter him.

 

L ignored her slightly, and continued walking towards Mello and Matt's room...

 

"some of them aren't exactly.... street smart" matt said laughing hoarsly

 

"Oh, street smart? That's what you call the ones dumb enough to fall for that thing you some how managed to pass of as charm?"

 

"indeed" matt said smirking at mello as he sat up. "but don't even try to tell me that YOU have any charm" he said laughing.

 

"Hey, I have two girlfriends, three possible ones and Juliet." Mello grinned cockily. "I must be doing something right."

 

L sighed passively as he walked up to Mello's word, catching Mello's sentences and almost immediantly turning around. "Maybe we shoudl talk to him later.."

 

"No, I wanna get this out of the way now. Sooner rather then lat--"
"...two girlfriends, three possible ones and Juliet..."
"Wha-- What?" She mumbled, tears welling up in her pale eyes again.

 

"Juliet, it's not as bad as it sounds.." L encouraged. "Matt's mostlikely in there adn they're having one of they're competitions"

 

matt looked at mello and smiled, "oh you're forgetting one aren't you?" he said jokingly
