Death Note: The Past Future

"Seriously? Only one night? I've spent weeks on things like this." She said in amazement. "I guess practise does make perfect."

 

"I'm not prefect obiliously but thanks. I could help you build something like this if you want."

 

Saint started to walk around the hall ways after doing absolutely nothing but listening to his music turned to full blast so that anyone within a 3 yard radius could probably hear it perfectly. he continued to just wal around and yawned and stretched out his back and neck.

 

"That'd be so cool." She smiled.

 

"Alright then."

 

"Oh, I'm T-- Angel by the way. Sorry, got to get used to the new name thing." She cringed as she tried to introduce herself to him. Playing slightly with one of her short, blondish-brown pigtails.

"What were you doing in there huh?" Mello suddenly asked Juliet as they walked down the corridor. Juliet having to run slightly to keep up with Mello's infurtated strides. "I thought I said you weren't to talk to him."
"Ye--Yes I know." She tried to explain as she tripped over her own boots. "But no one else was up, and like he was and he looked lonely so I decided..."
"You decided to be nice to him huh? Took pity on poor little Near. That's just what he wants you to do."
"Do you have any idea how crazy you sound?"
"I am not crazy!"
"I wasn't saying you were but listen to yourself Mello! You sound like your insanely jealous!"
"Maybe that because I am!" He blurted out without meaning to. "I mean... Urgh... whatever. Leave me alone... Stupid cow..." Mello muttered viciously. Storming off once again in a seperate direction. Leaving Juliet standing there, almost in tears. Although, he thought some time afterwards. Had he know, he wouldn't of done so.

 

As Saint continued to walk around the halls he saw a girl basically about to cry so he looked at her curiously and asked, "uhmm are you alright?"

"Y--Yeah... I'm fine." She sniffed, wiping her eyes quickly. "Just, just over reacting. I guess"

 

Saint saw her lips moving but he forgot to took his headphones off so he took them off to reveal a loud noise of guitar bass loud vocals and drums pounding through the headphones, "uhmm... sorry i kinda missed that.."

"I'm fine." She repeated. Smiling a completly false, but seeming real smile at him.

Mello had finally come to a stop and thrown himself moodily onto a sofa in the main lounge. Glaring evily at the chocolate bar he was trying to unwrap. Stupid girl...

 

Saint leaned against the wall and looked at her and said, "liar." simply and yawned again.

 

L walked into the house, kicking off his shoes as he closed the door.

"I'm not lying." She sighed.

Mello suddenly sat up, having heard the door slam shut and the noise of shoes hitting the carpet. IF that's him he's actually made it on time for once. Mello thought as he stuck his head around the door frame to see. The bar of chocolate still biten in place.

 

"Hello Mello..." L greeted impassively walking past him.

 

Saint rolled his eyes, "fine whatever, not my buisiness anyways," he said and sighed and stuck his headphones back in his ears and started to walk away with the song "There's No Sympathy for the Dead" blasting into his ears.

 

Juliet sighed and continued off downstairs to find Mello and appologise for whatever she'd done to upset him. Stopping halfway down the stairs as she saw him and... L! He finally made it on time for once!

"L!" Mello grinned, happy to see him again. Even if he knew he'd come for Christmas and not his birthday the point was that he was still going to be there. "How are you? You doing anything interesting with cases? Anything I can help with? I'll try, you know I will. If I can that is."

 

Saint continued to walk around when he appeared in the lobby where he say L but he jus yawned and sat down and continued to be deaf from everyone else but his headphones.

 

"Hello Juliet..." L greeted. "Morning Saint..."

 

Saint saw L's lips form the words "morning saint" so he just nodded back and said, "morning"
