    "So, L, are you doing anything interesting?" Mello asked again. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would get a reply. Even if it was a 'No I'm not.' at least some acknowledgement from his hero would be nice. Anything. Anything was better then the pain and annoyance of being ignored.

    "I mean cases or something. Not cake..." Mello sighed walking over to the other side of the kitchen, climbing up onto the counter surface and pulling down a large tupperware box. "Rodger thinks we don't know where he hides the chocolate and stuff. Sad he thinks putting on a high self will work here." he grinned as he jumped down again.
