Death Note

This is my FIRST RP thread so please give me a chance.

Basic Story Line: Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects-and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer.

Light has a Shinigami called Ryuk, he needs a face AND a name to kill someone with the notebook. But he meets a girl called Misa who has a notebook aswell and is in love with Light. Although Misa has done a deal with her shinigami called Rem for the shinigami's eyes which allow you to see someones lifespan and ages just by looking at them or a picture of them. But you can't see the lifespan of someone who owns a notebook. But doing this deal halves your current lifespan.

L's decendents are called Near and Mello.

Near and Mello are 12-15 years old.
Light, L and Misa are 17-19 years old.

Another shinigami is called Sidoh.

This is going to be similar to the books but L isn't going to die, or anyone else. (Unless they ask to be killed). And Misa and Light love each other instead of it just being Misa who loves light. You can include extra characters if you like but ask me first.

Rules:

1: No godmodding unless you have a notebook even then please try not to kill important characters.

2: Try to use proper grammar. Don’t put ‘u’ instead of ‘you’ or ‘r’ instead of ‘are’. People won’t understand you at all. Use “” when talking and OOC if you’re speaking as yourself, not your chara. Also put BIC if you’re back in.

3: If you’re gonna leave, TELL ME!

4: Swearing is allowed. Just don’t use it too often really. Romance is encouraged too.

5: I have the right to not let you into the thread, kick you out of the thread and make and remove rules as I deem necessary.

6: Read the other person’s post properly. If you don’t understand just ask them in OOC form or RP form.

7: Please try to stay active!

8: Only i can give notebooks, so please no gaining your own unless i say so.

9: If you wanna kill someone’s character, ASK THEM FIRST. If its no, then no. Don’t ignore them and try to kill them anyway. People who have been asked this and got ignored even after you said no, PM me and I’ll sort it out.

His goal in life is to surpass L and Near. His real name is Mihael Keehl.
