"You have a point...." Rhyme said, frowning slightly.

 

L pressed a button on the microphone on the table. "Watari, have you found me a convict yet?"

"Yes L, he goes by the name 'Lind.L.Tailor' is this alright?"

"Yes, he is fine have him ready by tomorrow afternoon please. That is all"he released the button and ended the conversation.

 

"All we now have to do is get him to repeat a script on TV." Near said.
"But what if he doesn't wanna?" Rhyme asked.
"I'm sure making his prison time just 10 years and no death penalty anymore will change his mind."

 

"I'm sure it will, but under my current theory i think he will die that day anyway, I intend to speak to him through the broadcast"

 

"Me and Rhyme shall be watching." Near replied.

 

"Thankyou, I would like to see what you make of the situation"
he looked over at Aizawa.
"Aizawa-San, while you are doing that could you also see if the criminals names and faces were broadcast or if footage showing the vitcims face was shown"

Aizawa nodded.

 

"But we won't input. If Kira thinks he only has one rival then it'll be better." Rhyme smiled.

 

"Yes, we are under no circumstances to reveal how many poeple are working on this case"

 

"This'll be unexpected for Kira." Near smirked.

 

"Maybe, maybe not, he should have worked out that the police would be after him sooner or later"

 

"Not this. Unexpected that he has more rivals then he thinks." Near corrected him.

 

L nodded and poured honey over a sticky bun.

 

Rhyme smiled and sat down.
Near sat next to her.

Toshiko vaulted over the sofa and landed next to Ryuzaki, making him spill honey on the table top.

 

Rhyme stuck her finger in the honey and pulled some up. She put her finger in her mouth, smiling.

 

Matsuda stood up and walked over to Near. "Here are the printouts"

 

Rhyme was sucking on her finger, watching Matsuda.
Near nodded and took them, reading through them.

 

Matsuda sat down next to Toshiko and watched Near.

 

Near stopped and looked up at L. "Yagami. Light Yagami's name is here for Kanto, Japan."
