Rhyme giggled. "Stubborn, yes. But so am I. Plus very childish and I HATE to be wrong or lose."
"You've proved that too many times..." Near frowned slightly.

 

"In that case, you're just like Ryuzaki, except the only childish thing he does is not liking his hair being brushed"

 

"Good point..." Rhyme grinned.

 

Toshiko smiled back.

L looked away from them and carried on sipping coffee.

 

"Warning number one. Never engage a 'who can build the biggest lego castle' game with Rhyme." Near said.

 

"So Near lost then" she said happily.

 

"Yup! And the 'who can eat 100 marshmellows first' game! And the 'who can build the biggest card sculpture'!" Rhyme smiled. "Near hates it when he loses."
"Mainly because you then put a bit of my hair in a ponytail." Near said, frowning.

 

Toshiko giggled. "I did that to Ryuzaki, he looked adorable, but he almost threw me off the task force"

 

Rhyme smiled sweetly at Near, bringing out a bobble from her shirt.
Near's eyes widened and he got up from the sofa, running.
Rhyme jumped up too, grabbing onto Near. She pinned him to the floor. "Take it like a man."
"I don't wanna! RYUZAKI! TOSHIKO! HELP!" He struggled around.
Rhyme grabbed almost all of teh top of his hair and put it into a small ponytail.

 

Toshiko burst out laughing while Ryuzaki smiled ever so slightly.

 

"Doesn't he look cute? I keep telling him that but he disagrees..." Rhyme crossed her arms, still pinning Near to the floor.
Near lay there, frowning. "I feel stupid."

 

"He looks stupid, man he's like a white pineapple" she laughed harder.

 

Near went pink. "Not funny...."
Rhyme hugged him. "I still think you look cute!"
Near went more pink.

 

"Hey Rhyme, you got any more of those bobbles?"

 

Rhyme threw some bobbles over to her, still hugging Near.

 

Toshiko caught them and turned to Matsuda, who instantly tried to struggle away.

 

"Don't be a girl Matsuda." Rhyme laughed.

 

Matsuda blushed. "I'm not being a girl, I just don't want..argh, hey!"
Toshiko had managed to sit on him and was trying her hardest to tie his hair up.

 

Rhyme giggled, watching Matsuda.
Near sat paitiently on teh floor, still in Rhyme's grasp.

 

"Oh come on you're a grown man! at least Near has an excuse!" she managed to grab a clump of hair.
