Death Note

Rhyme laid back on the sofa again.
Near watched her. "You okay?"
Rhyme nodded, yawning.

 

"Later guys" She headed towards the door.

"Toshiko-Kun"
"Yes?"
"Be careful"

She nodded and left the room.

 

Rhyme smiled to herself. "Hee hee hee."
Near looked at Rhyme. "What're you laughing about?"
"Not telling~!" Rhyme carried on smiling.

 

"Oh please do tell Rhyme-Kun"

 

"Its Rhyme-Chan, Ryuzaki. Kun is put on the end of guy's names, not girl's." Rhyme smiled. "And I think Toshiko has a crush on you Ryuzaki. Her eyes had happiness in them when you talked to her but when she left just now, she looked slightly un-happy to leave."

 

"I'm sorry Rhyme-Chan, i'm used to the task force all being male" He stuck a donut on the skewer. "Maybe, I also enjoy her company, but if she did un-happy to leave me then why would she do so so willingly"

 

"Beats me." Rhyme shrugged. "At least you won't be much of a loner anymore and you'll finally get a girlfriend." She laughed.

 

Ryuzaki thought about it. "My first friend becoming my girlfriend..."

 

"Rhyme, don't be so harsh." Near said, prodding her leg.

 

"Anyway, the investigation and the lives of those involved come first"

 

Near nodded.
Rhyme sighed. "Okay then."

 

"You sound dissapointed"

 

"Nah, not really." Rhyme smiled.

 

"Good, when she comes back do not tell her about this conversation"

 

"Like I'm the persn to shout that out?"
"You are actually." Near cut it. "You decided to announce when Mello had a crush on that girl."

 

"Rhyme-Chan if you can keep this secret then I can trust you through the rest of the investigation"

Rhyme sat up, looking at Near. "I was SEVEN!" She looked at L and nodded. "Okay, i'll keep this secret."

 

"Very well, if she finds out she's likely to hit you with her art book, and believe me, that thing is hard"

 

"Ah, ah, ahh~ I'm not the type that'll go for a one side bargain. I'm fair like that." Rhyme crouched next to L and whispered something in his ear. "I have a small crush on Near." Rhyme pulled away, smiling. "Now if you spill then I'll spill. If I spill then you can, right?"

 

Ryuzaki nodded. "Seems fair"
