Near smiled slightly. "Of course."
"Salutations L!" Rhyme said, smiling.

 

"Good, what i want to know is wether you have figured out my theory concerning the age of your so-called 'Kira'"

 

"To me, Kira looks around a High Schooler." Near said.
"But Kira might not be a hard worker. He or She might be a slacker that kills when he or she can between being with friends or other things." Rhyme inputted.
"Likewise, we also need to know where Kira is.

 

"Just what i thought you'd come up with, we are working on the idea that Kira may be a hard working college student, we rearranged his killings into several groups of 7 and layed one over the other, our results showed a college students timetable, proving that he only kills when not in class, there fore a dedicated student"

 

"Good point." Rhyme said sadly.
"Do a world-wide broadcast, showing yourself L. Kira will see you as a threat and try to kill you." Near said blankly.
"But it WON'T be YOU. It'll be a convicted criminal who's arrest wasn't in the news in any way. That way, we can find out how he kills and where he is. We can start with only broadcasting in Northern Korea."

 

"I had considered this option, but I think we'll broadcast in the Kanto region of Japan since most of the criminals killed were only broadcast through the media in that area"

 

OOC: I PUT Kanto at first... Then I changed it to Korea...
BIC:

"Good. Me and Rhyme will be there soon. May we make a request?" Near asked.
Rhyme sighed. "Do we HAVE to be cramped up in HQ all the time?"
"And do you have any idea where Mello is?"

 

"The HQ contains several floors, all together it can accomodate 60 people, you and Rhyme will have your own floor, as for Mello, As far as Watari has told me he is still in residence at Wammy's house"

 

"So we're free to wander around inside? Good. I hate being cooped up." Rhyme smiled.
Near nodded. "We'll join you as we arrive. Then we can go over how to lure out Kira."

 

"Matsoi will escort you into the main activity room, then I'll have Watari show you around"

 

"Right." They both said.

OOC: Can they be a HQ now?

 

OOC: Yes..

BIC:

Matsuda pulled up outside HQ. Watari was stood outside the building, he took Near's hand while Matsuda took Rhyme's.

"We are going to guide you inside the building, only then will L allow the blindfolds to be removed" Watari explained.

 

Near nodded, letting Rhyme's hand go.
Rhyme gripped Matsuda's hand as Near let go but her face stayed calm. "Please show us inside."

 

Matsuda and Watari led them into the building and through the security systems. They brought them to the room where L and the rest of the task force were operating.

"Thankyou Watari, Matsuda-San, You may remove the blindfolds now"

 

OOC: Have the task force seen L? Are Near and Rhyme in front of all the task force in person?!

BIC:

Near and Rhyme took off their blindfolds and looked around the room. Almost automatically, they joined hands again.

 

OOC: yes...otherwise Matsuda would not be able to take them to HQ, and L would not be able to work with them directly.

BIC:

"Welcome to the centre of the Kira case Near-Kun, Rhyme-Kun. This is where all information will be processed and filtered, cases will be inspected and where we will all be working to catch Kira. You are free to use which ever facilities you wish and explore at will." L sipped his sugar-loaded coffee. "My only conditions are that you call me Ryuzaki from now on to protect my identity, do not leak information or do anything without instruction unless you find it necessary, and you will be under constant surveillance"

 

Near and Rhyme sat on a sofa in their own odd way but their hands still joined. "Very well, Ryuzaki. Should we introduce ourselves?"
Near looked away. He wasn't too fond in being suddenly introduced to 6 random men he didn't know. And having L in the room made him even more upset about it.

 

"Don't worry, the task force here are trust worthy and have all passed my test, I am certain that none of them are Kira"He walked across the room and sat in the chair opposite them with his knees tucked up to his chest.

 

Rhyme nodded and looked around at everyone. "Salutations. My name is Rhyme but for sakes of keeping identity safe, please call me Hotaru Kagami. At extreme, call me R." She looked at Near.
Near looked at everyone. "My names Near. Call me Lucas Haine because of identity." Scanning the room, he nodded. "The Kira case is a serious case. On this case, you have to accept that you may die at any given time, be it by the hands of Kira or other methods. Also, as another identity note, when referring to us, make it so that we are adults. If Kira suspects children less, the bigger chance we shall have."

 

"I agree, but even so you have just told us your real names, if any of the task force members were to be in contact with Kira then you could die as soon as one of us leave the building"
