Demons and Heroes

Dameon grabbed her wrist.
"Please Natalie," he said.

Natalie looked at him with a confused face.
"When I say no I mean no," she said. She thought she saw Cole when she looked past Dameon.

 

He walked towards them and asked "What the heck is going on here?"

 

Dameon let go of Natalie's wrist and backed up.
"Nothing that concearns you," he said.

Natalie walked over towards cole and stood a small step behind him. She felt safe around him.

 

"If it concerns Natalie, it conernces me." he said.

 

"He wants me back," she said.

 

"What makes you think she'll take you back, you hurt her. A boyfriend, no, a real man would never dream of harming a woman!"

 

"Yeah. Like you said, she needs a real man. You are no real man," Dameon said.

Natalie made a face at him.
"He is a real man to me. You are nothing but a child," she said.

 

Nova sighs and looks at the clouds. I don't know why I'm here. I'm supposed to be back on my planet. Weird.

 

"I'm more of a man than you are!" he said.

 

Dameon chuckled.
"Prove it," he said.

Natalie grabbed Cole's hand.
"You don't have to prove anything Cole," she said to him softly.

 

"A real man does not pick fights. So by doing nothing, I prove my point." he turned away. "Let's go back, Natalie."

 

Natalie nodded.
"I want to stay away from him," she said softly.

Dameon stood over next to Natalie.
"Does my presense bother you?" he asked in an obvious tone

 

"It bothers both of us. Now, please leave us be."

 

"Hmm... Nah. I think I'll stick around," he said.

Natalie sighed in annoyance.
"Please Dameon. If you really love me you will leave me and Cole alone," she said.

 

"She's right. If you really love her, you'd want her to be happy no matter what."

 

"True you are right. But I won't stop until I win her back," he said. He teleported away.

Natalie sighed yet again then laughed at something she thought of.
"He doesn't realize he will never win me back," she said.

 

"I actually feel sorry for him." he said, leading back to the cave.

 

"Why is that?" she asked walking back with him.

 

"Because, he can't be with the one he loves. That doesn't mean I want you to go back to him, though."

 

She sighed in sadness.
"I feel bad for him too. But I am just one girl. I cannot be in love with you two. I do not love him. I may have gave him my heart once, but he shattered it once he had the advantage," she said.
