Demons and Heroes

"You are as weak as me. You are as strong as me. We are evenly matched. And one day your girlfriend is going to walk out on you. Just as she did me. We are the same." he said.

 

"Natalie has no reason to do that! She loves me!" he said.

 

"She is full of lies. She said she loved me, and that was just a lie. She could be lying to you. But you don't know that. You are blinded by just a few words that are spoken from her lips," he said. He but his head over ot his ear and whispered.
"And those words you are blinded by, are the three words "I love you" ," he said refering to Natalie

 

"LAIR!" he said, lunging at him.

 

He dodged it with ease.
"Admit it. She's gotten you tied around her finger. You are nothing but her puppet," he said.

 

"You're wrong!" he said, slashing at him.

 

He dodged it.
"And there she stands just watching you and me fight over her. We are showing her that she can control us... She is controling you, and you know it," he said.

Natalie stood there tears streaming down her face. She knew Dameon was just saying that so he could mess with his mind.
"Don't listen to him Cole!" she said.

 

"SHUT UP!" he yelled to Dameon, tackling him.

 

Dameon jumped out of the way before he tackled him.
"I guess I'll take my leave and let you two have your talk," he said then dissappeared through a portal. He closed it behind him.

 

"Is anything he said true?"

 

"Of course not," she said crying.
"How could you think that?" she asked.

 

"I was just asking you a question. I just had to be sure."

 

She stood there and fell to her knees crying.

 

"Please don't cry." he said. "I'm sorry."

 

"It's okay," she said looking up. Tears were still streaming down her face.

 

He hugged her and kissed her on the lips.

 

She closed her eyes softly and kissed him back. She was quivering, and scared she was going to lose him to the lie Dameon stated.

 

"I don't know why I beleived him at first." he said. "I will never listen to him again."

 

"Thanks," she said. She looked up at the sky and saw it started to snow. She looked back at Cole and tried to smile, but she put on a fake smile

 

"I know that smile is fake." he said. "Please tell me what's wrong."
