Kingdom Hearts II Demyx prounounced

I've always asumed it was pronounced Dem-ix.. I had much more problems pronouncing the Oblivion members such as Lexaeus (which I pronounce as Lex-ai-us), here's hoping it'll be possible to pronounce the 14th member's name..

I just watched the new cutscene with voices. Unlocked it on FM+, I listened closely and heared: Deh·meex.

As for me, I pronounce it DEH-MIX. :p

 

I used to pronounce it Dem-ee-ex, but now I pronouce it as sort of a cross between dem-ix and dem-ex.​

xD I am such a noob.

When I first got KH2, I always pronounced it Dem-ee-ix. Because that's..just what it looked like. But then when I started talking to more people who played it I said it like that once and they all made fun of me. So I know that's not how you're supposed to pronounce it but I still do because that's just how I originally thought of it and it would be hard to make myself change so I don't.

I really think it only depends on your accent, your way of pronouncing and if you like the Japanese pronouncation or English. I think it's kinda funny how we actually never hear his name in the english version yet we think we know how it's correctly said. I hope in 365 days they say his name in English, then this would be case closed! I would disappointed if they don't add voices...

Me and my friends say it like Dem-x O_o I heard someone say Die-me-axe, wtf? Isn't name pronounced somewere in the game?

 

I've always said it: Dee mix.

My friend pronounced it the same way. We never corrected each other.

I never realized its not used in the regular game. I just started saying it like that.

 

I'm kinda confused about a few more names. I really think Demyx is "Deh-mix", but I'm kinda confused about Luxord and Marluxia. Is it "Look-sord" and "Mar-look-sia" (as I pronounce them) or "Luck-sord" and "Mar-luck-sia"? And Vexen... Well I can definetely understand if it's really pronounced "Vixen". XD

Ditto-ish. Luck-sord, and Mar-luck-sha.Sometimes it's just Marly if I'm really lazy (which is all the time).
Poor Marluxia, his poor name gets so butchered.

How about Zexion? Is it Zeck-shun or Zex-ee-on? or Zeck-shee-on? I've heard all three and can never tell which one to go by.
