this one is a little short, but its the start of something big, i really like what i did with it too ^^

Old Friends, New Relationships
I sat up in a flash, my breathing uneven and tears coming down my eyes. I just had a nightmare about Riku dying,

“Stupid Prophecy…”

I looked at the clock to moan at the time. It was 1:06 a.m. and way too early for me to wake up, but, I couldn’t go back to sleep so I went downstairs to get a drink of water, when she came down she winced at the light difference between upstairs and down here. It was really bright because of the TV being on. Sora was asleep on the couch and apparently he kicked Riku off because he was in an uncomfortable heap on the floor just below the couch. I chuckled and walked back upstairs to get the two pillows that were on my bead and the two blankets too, seeing as I wasn’t using them in the first place. I came back downstairs and set the stuff down while I went over to Sora and straitened him out on the couch and put a pillow under his head. After that I went to Riku and sighed as I moved the table more towards the TV and straightened him out, I smiled as his face shown more comfortableness. I lifted his head up onto a pillow and covered him up with one of the blankets before doing the same for Sora.

I went to the fridge and got a glass of water. Then I walked over to the TV and turned it off before walking back upstairs and laying back down on the bed. I lay there for a few minutes before falling back asleep

Morning came too soon and I noticed that one of the blankets I had given the boys had found its way back to me and was keeping me warm. Kairi was still asleep in her bed when I walked downstairs. I looked at the couch and saw that Sora was asleep also. Then, when I looked towards where Riku was, he was gone. Well, now I know who gave me back my blanket…

“I see you’re awake.”

I jumped three feet in the air and turned around and smacked the laughing Riku hard on the arm,

“Don’t scare me like that!” I said

He smiled while rubbing his arm where I smacked him. He looked at me,

“Hey, thanks for what you did for me and Sora last night….” He said

I nodded,

“Yeah, I would have put you up on the couch, but I’m not strong enough to pick you up,” I laughed

He smiled at me; it was that other smile again. We heard the door knock and I went to open it,

“Ah! Mickey!” Riku said when he saw his little friend in the doorway

Mickey nodded. Sora yawned when he heard Riku shout, he looked up

“Oh, your majesty…” he said sleepily

I looked at him. Majesty? They didn’t tell me he was a king… I looked back at Mickey, and he looked at me,

“Bailey, I need to talk with ya about a certain Prophecy”

I froze and looked down, hair covering my eyes.

“What about it?”

Mickey looked at me,

“Well, first, I want to see something, summon your blade.”

I looked at him, so did Sora and Riku,

“But, she doesn’t have a blade to summon.”

Sora said

I sighed and held out my hand, the blade appearing in my hand in a flash of light. Riku and Sora stared at the blade in astonishment. Mickey sighed

“Well, at least now… I know you’re Dawn…” he said

I sighed and let my arm fall to my side,

“Another thing is, you know what is to happen to Protector of Dawn…”

My eyes widened and I slowly looked towards Riku. He looked back at me in confusion; I quickly looked at my feet and tightened a fist,

“Yes… but I’d rather not say it around these two…..”

Mickey nodded, understanding why, he sighed,

“Well, now that that’s over, why don’t you go down to the gate? There’s someone there waiting to see you.” He said

I looked up at him and looked back at Riku then at Mickey, he nodded and I smiled, grabbing Riku’s hand and running through the bailey and to the City Gate. I let go of Riku’s hand and gasped,

“y-you’re…”

The girl had sleek brown hair tied back into a ponytail and her black vest had the leonheart symbol stitched into it, I would know those anywhere,

“Christie?!” I shouted

She turned around and smiled. I ran down the mangled steps and jumped down to her before wrapping my arms around her in a hug I hadn’t had for a few years, about 6 to be exact. I looked at her,

“I thought the Heartless took you in the invasion!”

She nodded,

“Yeah, I was, but Nii-san found me again.”

I smiled,

“Leon, I need to remember to thank him.” I said,

I looked up where Riku was standing to see him confused, I motioned for him to come down and meet Christie. He jumped down and walked over to us, Christie smiled,

“Hi, my name’s Christie!”

Riku nodded,

“I’m Riku”

Christie gave a friendly hello hug. I looked down.

Christie released the hug and looked at me smiling,

“Well, how about you and me brawl? For old time’s sake?” she asked

“Oh- yeah, sure...” I said

She smiled and waved a hand at Riku. He sighed and backed up to the rubble of the stairs and sat down.

Christie smirked and jumped back, summoning her daggers. I smiled and jumped back myself, calling my blade. Christie looked at it,

“Hm, looks like you’ve gotten a new blade bailey, is it good?”

I shrugged,

“Not sure, this is only the second time I’ve used it. But we’ll just see.”

Christie nodded and got in a fighting stance, as did I. One of our own rules was that we would both clash so someone didn’t have to go first, after that, it would just be a regular fight, but, we wouldn’t kill each other. Christie and I ran at each other, I swung my blade and she caught it in between her daggers. I pushed my blade down and she was pushing her daggers up. When we knew that we both canceled each other out we jumped back. Riku just watched, wondering what I was capable of with a real blade.

“Well, that puts that rule aside.” Christie said

I smiled and nodded, holding my blade up. She made the next move and ran at me with her daggers behind her back. I readied myself for any attack. She threw one of her daggers like it was a boomerang and moved her hand back, the dagger seeming to follow her hand movements

That technique huh?

“Ok, if you want to play that way,” I said

I stuck my blade in the ground and right when the dagger came at me I grabbed onto it with one hand and thrust my body upwards, doing a one-hand hand stand with my blade as the ground. The dagger seemed to spin around the blade until both metals clanged, Riku watched in astonishment and confusion. I smirked and threw my feet back on the ground and ripped my blade out of the ground, pulling it back, which in turn pulled Christie towards me. I smiled, and she smirked

“Looks like you remember my puppetry technique.” She said

I smiled and grabbed onto what looked like thin air and twisted my hand upwards and I cut the air next to my hand, a thread appeared and flowed down to the ground. I tore the dagger off my blade and threw it back at Christie. She caught it and made a cross with both of them,

“Ok, your move. After that, no more hesitation.”

I nodded and held my hand over the blade and looked down at it.

Let’s see what you can do…

I examined it while I got my brain moving, there was a chain attached to it, maybe I could make use of that. I looked up at Christie and smiled while grabbing onto the chain and pulling it. A light shone from the chain and it grew about 4 feet longer. I smiled with what I had and I grabbed onto the chain with both hands, swinging the blade too and fro. I ran at Christie and threw my sword at her, when she dodged I yanked at the chain and it turned around and came back at Christie and wrapped around her body one time before returning to me. Christie smiled,

“Nice move, now, we fight for real.” She said

I nodded and tugged at the chain, making her come towards me, she dug her feet into the ground to prevent me from getting her, after that she spun around to where the chain and blade slipped out of my hands and went to her. She slipped out of the chain’s grasp and caught the blade, sticking it in the wall behind her; she ran at me and thrust her daggers at me. I jumped up just as the daggers would have gotten me and landed with one foot on her daggers and the other in the air. Christie had a hard time keeping me up and thrust her daggers upwards in hope of getting me off. I used this as a boost to jump at the wall where my blade resided and landed on it this time. She looked back at me and ran at me again, throwing her daggers at my feet. I jumped up again as the daggers hit the rock below my feet. I grabbed my blade as I came down and landed on the ground. I back flipped and used the wall as a boost, just as I did with my fight with Riku a few days ago and thrust at Christie. She summoned her blades from the wall and into her hands just in time to clash with my blade, but the force of my being in the air knocked her down. I didn’t follow liked I planned though, instead I was forced over her and I somersaulted about three times before colliding with the wall head first. I automatically grabbed my forehead, just to watch a drop of crimson liquid fall from between my fingers. I looked back at Christie to see her sitting up clutching the back of her head; her situation was the same as mine. She looked back at me and faked a smile

“Looks like it’s a draw, ouch…” she said

I nodded, only to stop and clap my other hand to my wound,

Riku ran over to me and looked at my forehead and the drops of blood that landed on the floor,

“Christie! Bailey!”

I looked up to see Leon jumping down the rubble and over to his sister, he looked at Christie’s wound and then at mine,

“What happened?”

Christie and I half smiled, I pointed to my blade and she pointed to her daggers. Leon sighed,

“You need to stop getting to wild” he said

Leon smiled and took out two rolls of bandages. He threw one to Riku and started wrapping bandages around Christie’s head. Riku nodded and started doing the same to my own head. Leon was trained to do that to his sister, so he was done before Riku. He took Christie’s hand and helped her up,

“I need you to help me with something, see you later Bailey.” He said

I couldn’t nod so I just put my thumb up. Christie gave me a piece sign before walking away with her brother.

It took a few more silent minutes for Riku to finish. Once he tied a knot so it wouldn’t fall apart he looked at me. I looked down and frowned,

“Sorry for making you take care of me Riku,”

“There’s no use for an apology.” He said

I looked down still. Riku did something that I should have seen coming. He started to tickle me to wipe the frown off my face. I fell backwards laughed and he leaned over me and kept tickling me till I grabbed his hands and put them on the ground so he wouldn’t tickle me anymore. I looked up at him and him down at me. I slightly blushed and looked away. He freed one of his hands and turned my head to face his own. He leaned in towards me and did something I never would have thought he would do, not in a million years. But he kissed me. A kiss that melted away any pain or sadness. A kiss that tasted like sea-salt and Poupu Fruit. I laced my fingers with his and I was able to have a kiss filled with love, for the very first time; and this one, I knew, would bind our hearts with a love that was bigger then even imaginable. Riku… thank you.

(is speechless) Oh..my...GAWD!!! JAP YOU....! That was Amazing! I was expecting greatness, but this blew me away so far...I don't even know how to describe it. The re-union between Bailey and Christie, the "friendly" hug between Riku and Chris (thanks for that, by the way) and then the spar and the tumbles they both took. Not to mention the concern that Leon-Nii has for both of them.

(fangirl squeal) about bloody time Riku, you finally kiss her! Amazing work Jap, simply amazing.

 

You did better than that, I can say that much with certianty. You did great on the fight too, capturing the essence of Christie's fighting style and the kiss scene. I can only hope I can do as well as you when Christie and Bailey spar in my fiction. And so as not to clog up your thread, let's continue this over PM's. Great job Jap, really great.

 

well, this has to be a record for me xP about one day in between both chapters, and this one is LOOONG this one has ALOT of cool scenes in it, action, drama, comedy, and a bit of romance too ;P so here it is

Preparations for the Journey

Riku released the kiss and put his lips next to my ear,

“Did I win you?...â€

I smiled and touched the necklace he had given me,

“You had won me from day one.â€

He smiled himself. I sat up and looked at Riku and went to hug him, but a hand grabbed him and pulled him back. When I looked up to see who did that, my eyes met with a very angry Melissa.

“Who do you think you are?! Trying to get my Riku,â€

I scowled,

“He isn’t yours! And he’s the one who-â€

Before I could finish, Melissa slapped me, for the second time, but this one was harder, and it felt like a punch more then a slap. Riku stared at the crimson mark on my face, it matched the blood stained bandages on my head; I glared at the ground.

“Just stay away from my Riku!†she said

Someone tapped Melissa on her shoulder,

“Excuse me, but I think you got my friend upset.â€

“Christie,†I said

Melissa looked at Christie to basically fall down in fear from my friends death glare. When a Leonheart gets angry, you better hope that it’s not you that’s going to take a beating. Christie gave a mean death glare, and right now, she was giving it to Melissa, her look softened when she looked at me,

“You ok Bay?â€

I nodded but rubbed the spot on my cheek, touching my necklace with the other hand. Melissa stood back up and dusted herself off, trying to ignore the meanness of Christie’s face.

“I don’t really care, now, can you scoot?â€

Christie’s face worsened, even I got scared at this moment, she walked over to me and Melissa thought that she could walk away at this point. Christie helped me up,

“Right hook?â€

I smirked,

“Sounds good to me.â€

Riku tilted his head as we walked over to Melissa and tapped her on the shoulder,

“Ugh, what now?!â€

She turned around. We both smiled at each other before both throwing a punch at her face.

“OW!†she screamed

She fell down clutching her nose and eye, when she saw that her nose was bleeding she gasped and ran away

“Welcome to the real world sweet heart!†Christie called after her

Riku smirked and stood up. I felt lightheaded from standing up and nearly collapsed, but Riku caught me in time. Christie smiled at me and Riku. I smiled at Riku, telling him I was fine. He helped me stand straight and stayed by me if I was to fall down again. I looked at Christie,

“So, what did Leon need help with?†I asked

Christie smiled and searched in her pocket to pull something out and hand it to me. I looked down at it to see it was a keychain.

“He had me help make it, and then asked to give it to you. It’s our seal combined with your own.†She said

She was right, it was kind of like a sun and moon sort of thing, with mine and Cloud’s seal on the right side, and Christie’s and Leon’s on the left. I smiled and put it in one of my pockets,

“Arigato.†I said

She nodded and walked back up to the Bailey

I looked at Riku,

“Should we head back?â€

He nodded and followed me up the rubble into the Bailey. He stayed behind me just incase I fell again. Once we got to the flat ground of the Bailey, I looked up to see Cloud, I smiled

“Nii-sama!â€

Cloud looked up at me and froze. He ran over to me and caught my head in both of his hands,

“What the hell happened?!†he said

I gave him a reassuring smile and grabbed his wrists with my hands,

“I was fighting Christie and I ran into a wall, Christie has one to match, just on the back of her headâ€

Cloud looked at me and laughed; something that I hadn’t heard since we were little kids.

“Did Leon wrap you up?â€

I shook my head and he gave me a quizzical look,

“Nope, Riku did.†I said

I looked back at Riku and smiled. Cloud nodded his thanks to Riku. I looked up at Cloud; his eyes shown a happiness that I wish I could have given him long ago, something that I wish I didn’t have to keep from him for about 3 years…

I was snapped from my thoughts when Cloud let me go.

“Well, I’ll see you soon Nee-chan,â€

I nodded as he walked passed us. I looked at Riku and motioned for him to come. He nodded and followed me up the stairs and out of the bailey. We walked back to the house and went inside just for Riku to get smothered by his mother. In fact, Sora’s and Kairi’s parents were here too.

“Mom! What are you doing?†Riku asked

“I don’t want you to leave again! I was put through agony when you were gone for two years!†she sobbed,

I stared at Riku’s mom, and then looked at Sora’s mom and dad and Kairi’s mom. I felt a little uncomfortable here. Right now, all I had was my brother who I hadn’t seen for 3 years, and lost all memory of him until last night. And I don’t even know if my mother is still alive…

“Oh, hello Bailey,â€

I looked at Riku’s mom and bowed

“Hello Mrs. Shusuren,â€

I looked back up and waved hello to Sora’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrishima, and Kairi’s mom, Ms. Tekima.

“Oh my god. Bailey! What happened to your head?!â€

I looked up to see Sora walk over to me and move my hair away from the bandage and examine the bloodstained wrap. When Sora got worried, there’s no end to it. I waved my hand,

“It’s nothing; I just hit my head on some rock, that’s allâ€

Sora frowned,

“That isn’t ‘nothing’. You could have been knocked unconscious.â€

I looked at Sora,

“But I didn’t Sora. I’m perfectly fine. Please, don’t worry.â€

I felt just about everyone’s eyes at that moment, and I really wished Sora wasn’t making such a big deal. Riku walked over to us and put a hand on Sora’s shoulder,

“Sora, its fine, I was with her, she just had a little clumsy moment, that’s all,â€

Sora stared at Riku, and something happened that I didn’t ever think Sora would do

“Then why the HELL didn’t you keep her from getting an injury like that?!â€

Riku stared at Sora in disbelief, my eyes widened.

“It wasn’t my fault!†Riku shouted back

All of the parents stared at the two boys, Kairi was a little shaken by the anger in Sora’s face, and I was getting pissed that Sora was getting worked up over nothing.

“Then who’s fault was it?! You were with her! You should have helped her!â€

“Sora that’s enough!†I shouted

My hand found its way to Sora’s face and I found myself glaring at the red spot that was now on Sora’s face. All of the parents were speechless. Riku and Kairi stared at me and Sora; Sora touched the slap mark on his face and looked at me. I tightened my fists,

“You can’t get worked up about every injury that I’m going to get! I know you care about me, but you’re… you’re acting too much like a parent! Even Cloud didn’t get THIS worked up!â€

Sora looked down with shame in his eyes.

“Look, I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time, and we had a little fight for old time’s sake. Like Riku said, my clumsy side got out and I ran smack into the wall, Christie got a good whack on the back of her head. If it weren’t for Riku being there, I could have bled to death because he’s the one who bandaged me up.â€

Sora looked at me and then at Riku. Riku closed his eyes and nodded. Sora looked down,

“Sorry Riku…..â€

Riku waved his hand in a sort of ‘it’s fine’ gesture. I smiled, that situation was over. All of the parents smiled at the sight of us and said goodbye before walking out of the door and going their own ways. Then Sora got a look of confusion and looked at me,

“Hey, by the way, do you know why Melissa was storming around in a huff? She walked passed here saying something about you Riku, and another girl.†He said

I smiled and looked at Riku while blushing, taking my necklace in my fingers. Riku blushed a little himself and rubbed the back of his head while looking at me and smiling

“We all had a part to play in that…â€

Sora and Kairi looked at each other before looking back at us, Sora walked over to Riku and knelt in to where he was basically touching noses, and Kairi walked over to me and went behind me, putting her hands on my shoulders and putting her head to my right,

“Did something happen that we don’t know about?†they asked in unison

Both of our faces reddened even worse. But we looked at each other and smiled, getting away from both Sora and Kairi and standing side by side,

“Maybe.†We both said

They just blinked. We both held up our pointer fingers

“You’ll just have to figure that out for yourself.†We said

When Kairi and Sora pouted we stuck our tongues out and pulled down our bottom eye lids to tease them. Sora and Kairi sighed, and I swear I saw little mushroom puffs come out of their mouths, just like in my manga.

“Well, anyway, Riku and I need to go to the market and stock up on our journey. Kairi, you’ll need to go talk to Merlin, he said he had a few things he needed to give us,â€

“What about me-â€

“Alright, I’ll go see him right now†Kairi said

“Guys!†I shouted

Everyone went out the door and to their destinations. I was left to stare out the door.

“What about me?....†I asked

I growled in frustration, but knew what I needed to do; I needed to pay a visit to my old friend Cid.

Cid used to be always coming up with these cool gadgets when I was a kid; I was even his quote ‘apprentice’. I walked into the room I knew Cid would be in and snuck up while his back was turned. I picked up one of his wrenched and leaned against the desk his tools were on.

“So, what are we inventing today Senpai?â€

Cid looked back and smirked when he saw me, taking his rag and wiping off his greased up hands,

“Hey squirt. Nice ta see ya again.â€

I smirked and walked over to him,

“Hey Cid, what’d one of your best gummies?â€

Cid’s smirk turned into a big grin,

“Come on, I want to show you something.â€

I nodded and followed Cid to the gummy hanger, passing Sora and Riku in the market on the way, giving them a piece sign when they saw me. There we went to the end of the row and cid opened the door, showing something that made me smile a smile so wide it could have taken up my whole face. It was amazing.

“Cid! It’s awesome!â€

I ran up to it and examined it’s pitch black coat of pain, along with the many wings, and the engines were one of the best models that weren’t too big that they would slow down maneuvering, but they were fast. And then the guns were something to talk about. Now, the outside was nice, but what about inside,

“Can I check out the inside?â€

Cid nodded and waved me in, the door was already open, so I didn’t have to worry about anything complicated. The inside was amazing just as it was outside. Four individual seats, plus a four seated bench. Then the controls took up a long strip at the front of the gummy, there were the main controls in front of the captain’s seat, plus the steering. And then there was the two vice captain’s controls with radar and minor gun controls. Then there were the more complicated controls along the strip. And then there were about 8 screens in all, about three of them were communicators, two of them were radars for everyone to see, then there was the two that displayed the engine levels and displayed the parts of the ship to show if it got mangled or not. And the last one was actually a computer, in case you needed to look up information or anything. I went into the back rooms with two beds and a small changing room. I came back out and went down the stairs and into the bottom of the gummy where all of the gadgets were. The main engines lay at the back, and then there were all of the main systems for the lock-on’s and steamers. Then there was a front room where it showed another display of the ship to see if it was damaged at all. Then towards the back by the engine room were rooms to manually run the guns in case the computers that hooked up to the control room got destroyed.

I came back out and smiled,

“This thing is awesome, but can it fly?â€

Cid crossed his arms,

“Well, actually, the engines got unhooked, and the guns need work, plus, you’ll need to hook on a shield ‘cause it don’t got one. And then there’s a lot of work under the ship too.â€

I sighed and took a bandana and pulled my hair out of my face, it winced a little when I pulled it tight because my head still hurt a little. Cid smirked

“We’ll just have to fix that now won’t we?†I asked

I pulled out a wrench and he pushed his nose with him thumb.

“First, we’ll need to check out what parts we need.â€

I nodded and walked around to the back, the first thing that caught my eye…

“Well, we’ll need a new wire, this one’s toast.â€

Cid nodded,

“We also need to get the shield, hey kid, how much Munny ya got?â€

“Well, I was saving up my Munny to buy this one book, but Riku had already gotten it for me, so I just put the rest of my Munny with it and got this amount.â€

I said and pulled out a Munny purse that looked like a cat, it was bulging beyond all capacity,

“How much is in there?!â€

“Um, about 9498 Munnyâ€

Cid slouched,

“Th-that’s a lot of munny….â€

“I had saved up about 5260, and I had about 2638, then I had 4238 in my allowance.â€

Cid’s head fell,

“I swear, kids have it easier then us…..â€

I laughed,

“How much Munny you got?â€

Cid sighed and straightened out,

“About 4361…â€

“So, that means that put together we have…â€

I crossed my arms and looked up, writing the numbers into the air with my finger,

“About 13,859 Munny, can that get us the parts we need?â€

“The Parts?! Heck, that can get us a new gummy ship!†he exclaimed

I smiled and walked with him into the market and walked over to the parts district. Apparently Riku and Sora were still there, and when they saw me come back they watched me go into the store, along with Cid and their jaws dropped when they saw us walking out with parts on our shoulders and taking up our arm space.

When we got back to the hanger we set the stuff down carefully and Cid went to get the tools out,

“Eh- I don’t have that much Munny left, how am I supposed to get him that ring now~?â€

“You talkin’ ‘bout a boy squirt?â€

“Ah- yeah, Riku, he’s really niceâ€

“I know Riku. Sora was lookin’ for ‘im a while ago, finally found ‘im I guess.â€

“Well, I was hoping I could make him a ring, but I’m not sure if I have enough Munny to get the materials…â€

“Hey, I could help ya with that! You just gotta help me on this ship!â€

“Ah! Gomen!â€

I ran over to the pile of parts and set them where they needed to go. After that, we got to working. I used a hoverboard to get to the engines and started fixing them. Cid was below deck fixing up the gun systems. I got annoyed when oil spilled onto my left cheek, but kept working. After the engines were fixed, I went and helped Cid out with the guns and we started working on the underneath of the gummy ship. We had to take out a lot of beaten up parts and replace them, and that took what seemed like forever. After that Cid helped me install the shield system, and for my own personal touch, I spray painted the four back wings blood red and made a white strip on both sides. After that we stepped back and looked at our masterpiece before heading off to make another, smaller, one.

“Thanks Cid, I needed this.â€

I said as I looked at the finished result of the ring. It was real white gold (don’t know how Cid could have gotten that) with a single red crystal place into it, a real simple ring, but it was very special, it had a potion mixed into the melted gold, so whenever anyone would wear it, the wounds they got wouldn’t get to serious.

I put it in my pocket and walked back over to the gummy ship to take a look at the engines on the inside, making sure everything was perfect,

“She’s a beauty ain’t she? Bailey’s inside takin’ a final look,†I heard Cid say

I took up the rag and started to clean my hands once I saw that everything was perfect. I climbed up the stairs and came up to see Riku and Sora staring in marvel at the ship,

“You think that’s amazing? Wait till you see the lower floor.â€

They turned around, now staring in awe at me.

“What?â€

“I-it’s just amazing that you could do this,â€

I smiled,

“Well, we can’t say anything until we turn it on.†I said

They watched as I walked over to the captain’s seat and sat down; I grabbed a hold of the steering and smiled. I flicked on the engines and was thankful to hear them roar; then I turned on all lights and shields and the system worked like a charm, Cid walked out into view and I noticed he had the ear piece on, so I put my own on and flipped it on,

“Why dont’cha take it for a spin? I’m sure the boys would like to come along too.â€

I smirked and turned around,

“You MIGHT want to buckle in for this.â€

They tilted their heads but sat down and buckled in.

I connected the ear piece’s audio to the gummy ship’s. Cid opened up the hanger and I shot out,

“Hey squirt, I put out some targets for you to hit, try and get them all before the timer I set goes off.â€

A timer appeared on one of the screens

“Roger that Cid, be sure to keep the gummy hanger open in about a minute.â€

“Hehe, boasting as always, huh champ? Well, I’ll try to keep that in mind.â€

I smirked and hovered just above the hanger.

“Ready?â€

The timer started

“Go!â€

I was off and Riku and Sora held onto their chairs for how fast I was going. All I could do was laugh. A beeping sound started to sound and I looked at the radar,

“Hm, hey old man, how many did you set up?â€

“Bout 9, try and get them all. I hid them good this time.â€

I smirked

“We’ll just see about that.â€

I saw one just a little to the left and shot at it,

“Aw, come on Cid, that was easyâ€

I looked at the radar and saw one in the town just against the wall. I smiled and full blasted towards the town and over the houses. A lot of people looked up when they saw the ship, and Christie was jumping and waving.

“Hey, Bailey, where is it?†Sora asked

I smirked and went up into the air and turned off the engines,

“Right here.â€

“What the hell are you doing?! Are you nuts?!†Sora shouted

“Maybe†I teased

The ship flipped over to where the nose was facing the ground and it started to fall, and both Riku and Sora started to scream, as anyone would on a rollercoaster. Once I spotted the target I flipped the engines back on and sped towards it, getting a bull’s-eye with the nose of the ship. I pulled up and sped towards the next target,

“Better hurry squirt, time’s running out.â€

I smiled and pressed on the speed, heading for the castle overlooking the town. In between the castle towers were about 4 other targets. I sped towards the first one and shattered it, then wove in and out of the towers and got the other three.

“Three more to go.â€

I looked at the clock and saw 47 seconds left until my minute was up. I found the other three in the water tunnels on the outskirts of town.

“Heh, perfect place to hide ‘em old man.â€

“Hey! Who ya callin’ old?!â€

I laughed and sped towards the water tunnels and spun into the one with the targets, just to get Riku and Sora sick. All three of them were destroyed when I got out

“Ok, you got ‘em, now can you get back in 5 seconds?â€

“Watch me.â€

I sped back to the gummy hanger, and barely made it within a second. I leaned back in my seat and took a deep breath, turning my seat when I heard Riku and Sora laughing.

“That was cool.†Riku said

“Where’d you learn to fly like that?†Sora asked

“I have my reasons.â€

We all came out and Cid patted me on the back,

“You actually did it kiddo. You beat your own record.â€

I smiled triumphantly. Kairi came in with Merlin, Mickey and the others. Merlin took a look at the gummy ship and stroked his beard,

“Hm, yes, it really is quite a marvel. But, just in caseâ€

He held up his hands and put a spell on it,

“An extra shield for your journey.â€

Mickey went ahead and put a few bags inside the gummy ship and Kairi brought in some potions, ethers, elixirs etcetera. Riku sighed and picked up the bags he had brought to the hanger and brought them into the ship

“Hey, thanks for the ship Cid, Bailey.†Sora said

Cid and I nodded. I turned around when I heard more people walk in, it was everyone’s parents, and the mothers looked torn. I gave a sympathetic look. Sora Kairi and Riku came out of the gummy ship and walked over to the parents, Sora hugged his mother and looked like he didn’t want to let go. Kairi looked like she wanted to cry, but she held back the tears as she hugged her mom. Riku didn’t want to leave his family either, but with his mother hugging him so tight he couldn’t breathe, it was kind of hard to want to stay, even Riku’s father had an expression of sympathy towards Riku at how much his mother was smothering him. When the Parents’ goodbyes were done they left the hangers, and Sora and Kairi walked into the ship. Walked over to the door and turned to me,

“Please take care of yourself.†He said in a sad voice

I looked at him confused.

“What do you mean? I can’t go?â€

Riku shook his head and I walked up to him,

“Riku, I have to go.â€

Riku put his hands on my shoulders,

“You need to stay where it’s safe, this journey is going to be bad, and right now, we don’t know who we’re up against.â€

“So what?! That doesn’t matter! I can handle anything-â€

Riku gently put his forehead against mine,

“I can’t lose you. I wouldn’t be able to stand that. So please… just stay here†he said in a soft voice

I held onto his wrists,

“You won’t lose me. I promise.â€

Riku looked at me and caressed my face with his hands, just looking at me

“Riku, it’s my duty as Dawn the Guardian to go on this journey. I have to go.â€

He sighed and nodded,

“Ok, then I’ll just have to protect you with my life.â€

“No. Now you have to make me a promise. Promise me that no matter what, you won’t die. Riku, I couldn’t bear to know you died.â€

Riku smiled and kissed me lightly and rested his head on mine,

“Then I promise to stay alive, as long as you do.â€

I smiled. Then took the ring out of my pocket and took his hand and slipped it on his finger,

“As long as you wear this ring, my heart will be yours.â€

Riku smiled and laced his fingers in mine,

“Then I’ll never take it off.â€

I hugged him tightly then walked back down to the ground,

“I just need to do something really quick.â€

Riku nodded. I ran out of the hanger just to bump into Cloud.

“Ah- Cloud!â€

Cloud looked down at me with sad eyes. I frowned when I saw this.

“Are you leaving?â€

“Yeah…â€

He sighed and held up my backpack. I took it from him and slipped it on. He looked down at me and took off my bandana before unwrapping the bandages on my head. He put his hand on my head and it started to feel warm and the pain went away. I looked up and him and hugged him tightly. He grabbed my arm and started to walk away with me,

“Nii-sama? What are you doing?â€

“I can’t let you go,â€

My eyes widened. His voice… was he crying?

I pulled at my arm and he stopped,

“You’re staying here. That’s final.â€

He went to started walking again, but I pulled at my arm to where he would face me, and my hand collided with his face, and tear drops went flying into the air. He let go of my arm at this instant and stood there with his arms lying to the side, hair covering his eyes.

“I’m not a child anymore Cloud! I’m 17 years old! Don’t you think I can take care of myself?â€

He didn’t answer.

“Cloud, you’re acting like a selfish little kid; I have to go on this, it’s been decided before time even begun. It has to happen, just like it has throughout history-â€

Cloud grabbed my shoulders, tears streaming down his face.

“It doesn’t have to happen this time! It can be another person! We can find someone to take your place… I can’t lose you, not again, Bailey you’re all I have left.â€

I stared up at my brother and lifted up my hands and hugged his neck,

“I promise I’ll come back Cloud, I won’t die. I’ll come back. But I have to do this. I’ll come back in a few days or so to visit you, ok?â€

Cloud continued to cry but hugged me back. We let go of each other and e wiped the tears from his face.

“So, your journey is starting.â€

I looked up to see a woman in all black, her brown hair complementing her reddish brown eyes,

“Tifa!â€

A blue haired boy was looking out over a balcony, a brown haired girl standing next to him. A blonde haired boy walking up with a girl on his back,

“Zack! Tifa!â€

Cloud smiled at the girl and gave a piece sign to the boy.

Tifa smiled at me,

“There’s someone missing here…â€

I looked down, Zack… why did he have to die?...â€

“Well, you better be off. Your friends are waiting.†She said

She pointed over to Riku who was waiting outside of the gummy hanger. I nodded and saw Christie and Leon walking up,

“It looks like we’ll be apart again, huh?†Christie asked

I nodded,

“Hey, I’ll be back, it’s not like I’m going to be stranded on a world without a way to get back.â€

Leon smiled, now that’s a sight to see

“Just be sure to come back, we’ve missed you these past years.†He said

I smiled and nodded. I waved to them and walked back to Riku. We started to walk back in

“Took ya long enough.†He joked

I lightly punched him in the arm,

“I had to say goodbye! What’s wrong with that?â€

He laughed. I looked back at everyone and smiled. They smiled back at me, even Nii-sama smiled. I was happy that he did.

We walked into the ship and everyone looked at us. I saw Donald in the captain’s seat. I crossed my arms,

“And just WHY are you sitting ieat?â€

“Wack! There’s no way I’m letting an amateur drive a gummy ship.â€

“Who are you calling an amateur? I helped build this ship, so I’m going to drive it.â€

Everyone laughed at the look on Donald’s face when he heard that I helped build it. He hopped out of the seat and let me into it. Then he sat down on the bench along with Mickey and Goofy. Riku took his seat and I signaled Cid to open the gates. Once we were out of the atmosphere, I looked down at the world with sad eyes,

“This is Chip Chipmunk along with Dale Chipmunk. We scanned the area and found one nearby planet.â€

I looked at the screen to see a planet pop up,

“Thanks Chip, we’re headed there right now.â€

“The Planet’s name is ‘Golden Beach’â€

So, our journey is finally beginning.

(pumps fist) Oh yeah, go girls, go! Punch Melissa! Great job Jap, great job. ANd I see you did use that idea from the first draft, that's great! I love the way you put it, since Cloud-San is rather emotional when it comes to his closest friends. But something I noticed. Zack's hair isn't blue, it's black/really, really dark brown. But still, it's an amazing chapter. Not to mention the keychain that Chrissy gave Bailey seemed really pretty, at least, in the text version. Great job, just perfect!

Golden Sands and… Aliens?

This place was hard to land on because there were no ports, and a lot of this place had tropical jungles and mountains. I had to beam us down and have Chip and Dale put it in orbit. We walked out onto the beach part and saw golden sands and sparkling blue oceans, it was almost just like Destiny Islands….

“How is this place in danger?â€

“Sora!â€

Everyone turned around to see a blue ball rolling up to us

“Ah! Stitch!â€

The blue ball jumped up to Sora and tackled him. The blue ball turned out to be a blue creature. It looked like a koala… Mickey just kept staring at the creature, and Kairi was pinching herself to see if she was dreaming, mine and Riku’s faces went blank

“What is that thing?†I asked

“That’s my puppy!â€

I turned around to see a little girl with a red dress and brown hair running up and pulling stitch off of Sora,

“Bad Stitch! You can’t just jump onto people like that.â€

“But, Sora…â€

“WAHA! IT TALKS!†I shouted

Chills ran up my spine as my jaw dropped and Riku’s hair stood up on end,

The little girl stared at me and then looked at Stitch and Sora,

“OH! So you’re the guy that Stitch has been talking about since he got back, in fact, he talked about all three of you…. But, not youâ€

The girl pointed to me, Riku, Mickey, and Kairi, my head fell

“I feel so loved….â€

Sora smiled and looked at the girl,

“By the way, who are you?â€

Stitch ran over to the girl

“Lilo is my ohana; I lost her when her world was destroyed.â€

“’Ohana’?†Sora asked

“Ohana is family, family means no one gets left behind.†Stitch said

“Oh, I get it.†Sora said

I sensed something bad and summoned my blade. I flipped around, cutting through a black creature and its blood splattered on the sand. Stitch growled and put Lilo behind him, more appeared and surrounded us

“What are they?! Aliens?â€

“I wouldn’t exactly call them aliens, more like heartless.†Sora said

The Keyblade appeared in his hand. Kairi picked up Lilo and got to a safe distance. Stitch got out a plasma gun and everyone summoned their weapons. I looked at King Mickey to see he had a Keyblade too…

We cut through the heartless in no time and Kairi brought Lilo back to the group. I looked at her,

“By the way Lilo, what was that whole ‘aliens’ theory?†I asked

“Oh, stitch is an illegal genetic mutation made by Jumba who is another alien; I thought that they might be more aliens or something.â€

My shoulders sagged.

“I shouldn’t have asked…â€

“Hey, Lilo, have you seen anything weird going on lately?†Sora asked

“No, but lately I’ve been finding Stitch’s cousins, and there’s some big fat guy that trips over his feet that’s been trying to steal them…â€

Sora Donald and Goofy looked at each other and nodded,

“It’s probably Pete.â€

Everyone nodded, I tilted my head,

“Who’s Pete?â€

Sora looked at me,

“He’s one of the bad guys; we had to teach him a thing or two last year, guess he’s still on Maleficent’s sideâ€

I nodded my head and looked around before looking at Lilo,

“Hey Lilo, is there a town here?â€

Lilo nodded and pointed towards a bunch of buildings hidden in the leaves of the jungle,

“Nani is working there, and I go to hula school there.â€

“Can we go check it out?â€

Lilo nodded and grabbed my hand and started to run off towards the town,

“I can show you all of the experiments we’ve caught!â€

I didn’t have a choice but to follow Lilo, and all the others followed, Stitch caught up with Lilo and picked her up on his shoulders, causing the little girl to start laughing. I couldn’t help but smile.

We came to the busy part of the beach and Lilo ran over to a surfboard shack,

“Nani! Nani! We have guests on our island!â€

The woman inside, about our age, turned around and put her hand on her hip,

“Is that right? And just where are these new comers?â€

She looked over and saw all of us.

“Wow, that’s a lot of people†she said

“Nani? Can I show them the island?â€

“Sure, go aheadâ€

Lilo smiled and waved her hand for us to follow her. The first place she brought us to was the lighthouse,

“Come on! We have to go to the top!â€

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy stayed at the bottom while Riku, Sora, Kairi, and I went to the top with Lilo. Stitch ran up the stairs in a second. I put Lilo on my shoulders and started climbing the stairs. Riku started climbing the stairs along with Sora and Kairi was the last to start climbing. Before long Riku and Sora were starting to pant from exhaustion and Kairi and I giggled.

“You two getting tired?â€

“YES!†Sora whined

“NO!†Riku shouted

They said this at the same time and made Kairi, Lilo, and I laugh. We continued to climb the stairs and Lilo wanted to go on ahead, so I put her down on the ground and she ran up the stairs. Riku and Sora were lagging behind and I soon lost sight of them. When I got to the top I came face to face with a yellow creature that was emitting little electric sparks. My hair stood on end and a shiver ran up my spine,

“YAH!!!!â€
I jumped five feet in the air and Lilo laughed.

“That’s Sparky. He helps run the lighthouse.â€

Riku came running up the stairs looking worried,

“What happened?!â€

I looked at Riku and felt like a ******, I rubbed the back of my head and gave a fake smile

“I-it’s nothing… I just got spooked is all.â€

Riku sighed and smiled at me. Sora and Kairi came up and stared at Sparky.

“Is that one of the experiments?â€

Lilo nodded,

“Yeah, he was the first one we caught.â€

Sora nodded but whined,

“Oh, can we take a break? I don’t want to go back down the stairs!â€

I laughed,

“What? You need someone to carry you?â€

Everyone laughed but Sora, who just pouted. I looked at the windows around the room and looked down to see Mickey, Donald, and Goofy talking. I stared out at the ocean, thinking about the islands. I’m shaken from my thoughts when Riku puts a hand on my shoulder, I look at him

“Lilo wants us to get moving, she still wants to show us all the rest of the experiments.â€

I nodded and looked over to see Sora getting ready to go down the stairs,

“Hey Riku?â€

“I bet you I can win in a race against you.â€

I put my hands behind my back and casually walked over to the stairs, seeing that two people could walk side by side,

“Is that so?â€

I nodded and pointed towards the stairs, he smirked and stood next to me, I smirked and grabbed onto the rail,

“Ready?â€

He nodded

“GO!â€

We set off down the stairs and I was getting farther in front, I got suspicious but kept going. Once we got to the bottom I burst out of the door and bent over, holding onto my stomach and trying to catch my breath. Riku came out just a bit behind me and fell to the ground with exhaustion, panting like crazy. Donald Goofy and Mickey turned around when they heard us, I looked at Riku as he sat up, putting a hand over his heart. I smacked him over the head playfully,

“OW! What was that for?â€

I panted,

“You LET me win! I just know it!â€

Riku smirked,

“So what if I did?â€

I pouted. Mickey smiled, Goofy rubbed under his nose, and Donald crossed his arms while tapping his foot. The others came down and we looked at them,

“Where now?†I asked

When we were almost done with saying hello to the experiments, we came back to the beach while Lilo went to go get the last two experiments,

“My favorite was Slushy†Sora said

I laughed as Sora ate some shaved ice that he got from Slushy

“Gee, I wonder why?â€

Everyone laughed and Sora smiled.

“I think I liked Kixx.†Kairi said

“My personal favorite was Houdini.†I said

“I think I liked-†Riku started

“GUYS! I CAN’T FIND YIN AND YANG!†Lilo shouted

She came running up to us with stitch running next to her, eyes squinted

“Pete must have got them!â€

“Did someone call my name?â€

Everyone turned around to look at a big guy that was all blubber. His tiny cat ears perked up. I stared at him as he scanned the people here. When his eyes landed on me I stepped back. He squinted his eyes,

“Who’s this? A new addition to the group? Ha ha, she looks like the weakest out of the whole groupâ€

Riku growled and stepped in front of me,

“Hey, don’t talk about her like that!â€

“Oo, what? She your girlfriend?â€

Riku glared at Pete. I was getting fed up with this fat idiot.

“Pete, what are you doing here?!â€

“Well, there seemed to be a lot of creatures here ripe for the pickin’. All them look perfect for the heartless army I’m makin’â€

“Are you STILL going on with that?†Sora asked

“Well Maleficent is helpin’ me round up all the heartless so that’s we can finally conquer all of your worlds!â€

Lilo walked up to Pete and kicked him hard in the shin. Pete started bouncing around like a mad lunatic, clutching to his shin.

“You leave Stitch and his cousins out of this!â€

Pete stopped jumping around and got face to face with Lilo,

“Too late! I already got to two of your ‘cousins’â€

He reached behind his back and pulled out two containers, one carrying a red creature, and the other holding a blue creature

“YIN! YANG!†Lilo shouted

“Pete! Let them go!†I shouted

Pete laughed like what I said was one of the funniest jokes. I growled

“No way! These things are perfect!â€

Stitch and Lilo ran up to Pete and kicked him in the shins, making Pete jump around like a lunatic. Her growled and snapped his fingers, a giant heartless that had what looked like sea weed for hair, two of the ‘strands’ of sea weed grabbed Lilo and Stitch and held them up high in the air. Pete used this as an escape strategy but Donald, Goofy, and Mickey ran after him, leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves. First thing to do was to get Lilo and Stitch down. I looked at the strand Lilo has tied up with and tracked it down to the head to see which one to cut then did the same with stitch and told Riku which one to cut, while I cut the other one. Sora and Kairi caught the two and untied them when they fell down. Once Kairi brought Lilo to a safe distance I scanned the creature to see what could be a weak spot while Sora and Riku started attacking it. I moved around to the back and scanned the back, but didn’t see anything. While Riku attacked the body with no luck, Sora was weakening the monster when he attacked the hair,

“Riku! Attack the hair along with Sora!â€

He nodded and started cutting through the hair. The monster got fed up with Riku and Sora giving it a much needed haircut and flicked them away with two strands. While Riku and Sora tried to regain themselves I attacked from the back, each time the Heartless turned around I kept going to the back. I thought it was working, till one of the strands picked me up and threw me at the now standing Sora, knocking him down again, Riku ran at the Heartless’s last hair and cut through it, smiling in triumph. Until the hairs grew back. This time the Heartless got really angry and shot its ‘hairs’ towards us and started slamming the ground, making us fly all over the place. I grabbed onto one of the sea weed strands and let it bring me back to the heartless, cutting away half of the hairs in one swipe. The Heartless roared in both rage and pain, sending hairs to me, I hacked them away as they came towards me but one got around me and threw me against a tree. I moaned and stood up,

“We have to find a new strategy….â€

I looked at the head to see that it didn’t have a scratch on it,

“Maybe it’s the head… Sora! Try to attack the head!â€

Sora nodded and dodged around the hairs and got up to the main part of the Heartless, attacking the head. As soon as this happened the Heartless roared its last roar.

With the thread gone Lilo ran back out onto the beach,

“We have to get back Yin and Yang!â€

“Lookin’ for somethin’?â€

Everyone turned around to see Mickey, Donald, and Goofy walking up along with the two free experiments. Stitch ran up to Yin and yang and hugged them both. Lilo did the same.

“So you got them back huh?â€

Mickey nodded,

“Thank you for helping guysâ€

Sora nodded, and Nani ran up to Lilo and hugged her,

“Oh gosh, Lilo! You’re all right! I heard someone saying that there was a giant sea weed monster attacking a little girl and I got so worried!â€

Lilo hugged Nani,

“It’s ok Nani, Sora and the others helped me!â€

Nani nodded her thanks to us and started talking with Lilo. Donald looked at Sora,

“Hey Sora, I was just wondering something,â€

“Huh? What was that?†Sora asked

“Do you think that the doors will open up the same as last ti-â€

Sora’s Keyblade started to light up and a crown appeared on the ground, a fierce wind blew at us and a keyhole appeared up in the sky, the sound of bone chilling screams, a nippy chill, and the smell of cookies filled the air. Not a mix you would think would be together. Lilo looked up at the sky,

“Sora? What was that?â€

Sora smiled,

“We have to go now, but we’ll come back.â€

Lilo nodded and smiled. I took out my ear piece and called in to Chip and Dale,

“Beam us up guys.â€

“Roger that!†Dale’s voice rang into my ear. We all waved and a beam of light transported us into the gummy ship.

“Your next destination is Halloween Town!†Chip said

“Hey, Bailey? Can you drop Donald Goofy and I off somewhere really quick?â€

I looked back at Mickey and nodded as he pointed me in the direction of a place called ‘Disney Castle’. I landed in the Gummy Hanger and let Mickey and the others off,

“You s oughta go on and get to Halloween Town; we might be a while,â€

“But, your majesty-â€

Mickey shook his finger and looked at me. I nodded and closed the door before Sora could protest and we went back through the atmosphere.

“I hope they’re ok,â€

Pete's gone mad. Summoning a monster made out of...seaweed? Good image that was. Lighthouse climbing makes for quite the romantic outing, even if you're not with just your sweetheart.

Bat Wings and Gingerbread Men

Once we got to Halloween Town I sighed when I found out we had to be beamed down AGAIN. When we got beamed down I took a look around and saw that this place was very dark. I heard Kairi and Riku gasp and turned around to see that they were in what looked like Halloween costumes. Kairi’s outfit was very dark; a pitch black tutu took its place around her waist and her skirt was tattered. Her top was replaced by a black corset and she had grey and black stockings. A pumpkin mask covered her right eye and she had fangs. Riku’s outfit was kind of cool. His vest had gone away and his shirt got longer to make a sleeveless coat, and his pants were turned a darker blue, he had long black wings and a black top hat, plus his cheeks had stitches along the line the mouth would have been. I turned to Sora and he looked as if he was used to this, he had a devil mask covering his left eye and fangs, just like Kairi. His outfit was kind of the same, just all black, and without the many pockets, plus, his pants got shorter and black stockings took up the space where his legs would have been showing, he also had small bat wings. Riku looked at me and averted his eyes, frowning and slightly blushing; I tilted my head and looked down to see that my shirt was replaced by bandages. I was just thankful that I still had my vest. I quickly zipped it up and looked down at the rest of my outfit, wondering what else might be different. I sighed in relief to see that my shorts were still there, although they were a bit tattered at the bottom. I looked at my feet to see that my shoes went missing and I had shackles around my ankles, plus they were around my wrists too. I also saw that there was a black scarf around my neck that came out and had what looked like claws on the end of it. Then I looked at my back to see if I had any wings like the guys, and sure enough, there were two long black raven wings. I couldn’t feel any mask on my face, or see it for that matter, but I reached my hand and felt bandages wrapped around my eyes. How I could see? I have no clue. I sighed and put my hand on my cheek and felt stitches, just like Riku’s.

“Whoa! We look cool!â€

Sora came up behind me and poked me in the back with his claws

“Rawer!â€

“Ah!†I screamed

“Sora knocks it off!†Riku shouted

Sora bust up laughing,

“Oh god! It’s so easy to scare you!â€

I hit Sora over the head,

“That wasn’t funny!â€

“You didn’t have to hit so hard…†he whined

I crossed my arms and turned away from him

“Sora! Is that you?â€

Everyone turned to see a very tall skeleton looking man with long, red Santa-ish looking clothes, Sora crossed his arms,

“Sora! It is you! It’s good to see you again!†the man said

“Yeah, it’s good to see you too, Jack, but-â€

“Who are your new friends?†Jack asked

He pointed towards us

“Oh, this is Kairi, Riku, and Bai-â€

“Riku! So you’re the one who Sora’s been talking about! I see he’s found you!â€

Sora looked a little annoyed,

“And Bailey… Jack! Why are you wearing a Santa suit?â€

Jack scratched his head,

“Well, I just thought Sandy Claws would need a little help with making presents again this year.

He started walking to a set of stairs and Sora followed, followed by us. When we came inside I just about had a heart attack when I saw someone poking their own brain. He closed his head and turned his wheelchair around when he heard me scream.

“Who made that racket while I was thinking?!â€

This guy was creepy; he looked at Sora and wheeled over to him

“Oh Sora, it’s nice to see that you’re backâ€

Sora gave a nervous laugh and scratched his nose.

“Whatcha workin’ on now Dr. Finklestein?†Jack asked

“I’m working on my new experiment, maybe it can keep those hooligan children out of my laboratory!â€

I scratched my head, not really understanding very much since I didn’t know these people

“Oh! Sora! You have come back again.â€

We turned around to see a woman with a lot of stitches running through her body and making up her dress.

“Hey Sally.â€

Sally looked at us,

“Oh, who are your friends?â€

Sora looked at us and smiled,

“This is Kairi, Riku, and Bailey.â€

Kairi waved, Riku saluted, and I bowed. Sally smiled,

“It’s very nice to meet you all,â€

She turned to jack and frowned,

“Jack, I can’t help feeling that if you try and help Santa again, something terribly bad will happen,â€

“Oh Sally, I know that last year didn’t go so well, but this time I’ve learned my lesson. I’m only going to help make presents this year.â€

Sora sighed.

“Come on Sora! You can come help Sandy Claws too!â€

Jack went out the door and Sora turned to us,

“Can you guys help? Jack always gets in trouble with Santa,†he said

He went to walk out after Jack but Riku shook his head and crossed his arms

“Sora, you know Santa isn’t real, you even agreed with me.â€

Sora smirked and kept walking, Riku sighed, Kairi and I ran after Sora and Riku sighed before walking after us. We soon came to a circle of trees with different designs on them. Jack was standing next to the one with a Christmas tree on it. He grabbed onto a handle and the Christmas tree opened like a door and he jumped into the tree.

“We have to jump into a tree?†I asked

Sora smiled and held the door open, motioning for us to go in. Kairi and I took a step backwards making Riku the closest to the tree, he looked at us and his head fell,

“You guys are cruel…â€

I giggled and he looked at the tree, jumping into it, I leaned over and froze,

“Wow, that’s far down…â€

“Why don’t you check it out then?†Kairi asked

Kairi came up behind me and pushed me into the tree

It was starting to get really cold and a light flashed before I tumbled into Riku while getting a face full of snow, Kairi came tumbling in next and rolled into us, while Sora casually walked out, I got onto all fours and glared at Sora,

“How come you can stand up straight and we can’t?!â€

He smiled and put his hands behind his head,

“Practiceâ€

I sighed and stood up, wiping the snow off of my clothes, noticing that my clothes changed again, this time I had a white shirt with too long of sleeves and my shorts turned into a black skirt, and I had black tights. My scarf now covered both my neck and mouth, I looked back at my wings and they changed to white. I put my hand on my forehead to see if something was covering my eyes, but nothing was there. I looked at Riku and saw that his coat had changed to silver and now had sleeves. His wings now had feathers and his top hat disappeared and he now had a Christmas hat. Kairi now had a red dress with fuzzes on the top and bottom rim. Her tights were now red and green, but her mask was the same. Sora’s outfit was now red and his mask disappeared and he had a Christmas hat just like Riku.

“Come on Sora! We need to see Sandy Claws right away!†Jack said

I looked back to see Jack on the hill that led to a little village. Sora walked over to jack and started to walk down the hill with him. Kairi ran after them leaving me and Riku to hang towards the back, Riku looked at me as we walked,

“You believe in Santa?†he asked

I looked down,

“Um, would it be weird if I said that I don’t know who that is? Or remember at least…â€

Riku gave a sympathetic smile and kept walking. When we came to the village we had a run in with Heartless. One of them looked like a jack-in-the-box, and it was very annoying because sometimes it would jump away right when I would try and hit it. One time when it jumped around a little toy soldier popped out and shot me in the arm. I got fed up and extended the chain on my blade and threw it at the soldier, making the chain wrap around the box. Jack came tumbling through and threw a fire spell at the heartless, finishing it off. Sora cast Cure on me and my arm felt better,

“Sandy is just in there.†Jack said

He pointed to a building behind us. We went in and Riku just about passed out.

“Ah-ah….â€

A big man in a red suit turned around and gave us a warm smile.

“Why hello everyone.â€

Kairi’s eyes lit up. I wish I knew what the fuss was about though….. Riku went very pale and his eyes were wide open, along with his mouth. Sora smirked.

“Hey Santa.â€

“Sora, it’s good to see you again, oh, I see you’ve brought some friends. Would they like to know if they are on the nice list?â€

Kairi nodded rapidly. I didn’t know what to do.

“Now, what are your names?†Santa asked

Kairi was bouncing on her heels.

“My name is Kairi.â€

Santa scrolled down his list,

“Ah, Kairi Tekima. Right here. You have been very nice.â€

Kairi smiled and pumped a fist in the air.

“Now what is this young man’s name?â€

Riku froze and gulped.

“Uh… Riku….â€

“Riku? Riku Shusuren?! Aha ha ha! I’m so sorry Riku, but you were mistaken to say that you didn’t believe in me.â€

Riku’s head fell. Santa looked at me; I just looked at him,

“Um… Bailey, sir…â€

Santa looked at me,

“Bailey? Bailey Strife? Oh, such a shame…â€

I cocked my head,

“What?â€

“Have you gained all of your memories?†Santa asked

I looked down and shook my head,

“Well, here’s one for you to gain, by your actions throughout your life, you have been on the nice list.â€
I smiled a bit and jack took a step forward,

“Hey Sandy! Nice to see you again!â€

“Jack Skellington, why are you in my workshop? You’re not trying to steal my job again are you?â€

Jack shook his head,

“Oh no Sandy! I just wanted to help with making the presents.â€

Santa got suspicious but didn’t say a word,

“Well, if you want to help out with the toys, you can.â€

Sora Jack and Kairi smiled. Sora and Jack led the way to the toy room. We spent a lot of time making the toys, and we had a lot of fun. It helped bring back a really nice memory,

“Nankurunaisa….†I said

Riku looked at me,

“What’s that mean?â€

I smiled,

“Live for today, smile tomorrow… Nii-sama came up with that.â€

Riku smiled.

“Cloud came up with a great saying.†He said.

Suddenly a present came flying at me and hit me upside the head, I turned around quickly

“Hey! What was that for?!â€

I saw a little girl with a witch mask laughing, standing next to her were two other boys, one wearing a skull mask, the other wearing a devil mask. All of them scattered and started destroying the presents we had taken time to make.

“Lock! Shock! And Barrel!†Jack shouted

Sora’s blade appeared and Jack got ready to attack. Kairi, Riku, and I got ready to fight. The girl started to rapidly twirl around towards Sora, the Devil boy bull-charged towards Riku and the Skull boy rolled fast towards me I managed to jump over him once, but he came to fast and knocked me off of my feet, never giving me a chance to get back on my feet. Riku had knocked out the devil boy in no time. Sora had help from Jack to get the Witch settled down, but I kept getting knocked down by the stupid skull boy. He was teasing me too much. Riku knocked the boy into the wall and caught me when I fell down. I huffed out of frustration. This type of opponent was mean. At least the respectful type let you get up onto your feet!

“What are you three up to?†Jack asked.

All three kids laughed,

“We just wanted to have a little fun, since Dr. Finklestein’s new robot threw us out of the lab.†The skeleton boy said

“Yeah! In fact, it won’t let him leave the dumb place†the girl snickered.

Sora tilted his head as the three kids ran out of the toy shop. He looked at us

“We better go check it out.â€

Everyone nodded and ran out of the toy shop and up the hill back to Halloween Town. We came to the lab and heard a loud crash. We opened the door and saw that the robot was going to grab Dr. Finklestein. It straitened out when it heard the door open and turned around to face us as the siren on the top of its head sounded. It was basically all torso, and its head went into the body. There was a chain and an arm on its right side, the chain having a hook at the end, and the arm having a very sharp claw. On its left side it had two arms, one having another claw, and the other holding a sword. There was a little cabinet on its torso and it had another hook on the bottom of its body. It grabbed Dr. Finklestein and threw him into the cabinet on its torso. After that we got out our weapons, it got in a fighting stance, but flew out the door and into the town square. We ran back out and looked up at the Guard Bot. Sora jumped up and started hitting it with his Keyblade, Riku started doing the same thing, and Jack threw fire and ice spells at it. Kairi and I sighed because there wasn’t really anything for us to do while the guys took all of the action. I looked at Kairi,

“Hey Kairi, do you know any Cure spells?â€

She looked at me,

“No, but I’m learning to though. Why do you ask?â€

I put my finger on my chin,

“Well, if you learn how to use cure spells, and you take care of the potions and stuff, you can be a healer.â€

Kairi smiled and nodded,

“Yeah! That sounds like a great idea!â€

I looked over to see that the Guard Bot was getting aggravated. It picked up Sora and Riku and threw them into the wall; Sora was thrown to the wall that was over a drain. He looked worried and tried to get away from it but a green liquid spouted out and threw him into the air once again, this time landing ON the wall. Riku was thrown into a gate; once he hit the ground the gate opened quickly and gave him a gash on his back, it stayed open for about 1 minute and then closed again, giving Riku another gash. Then it picked up Jack and threw hi on top of a building. I growled and extended my chain, throwing it at the Guard Bot and tying him up. The blade got wedged into the wall and I kept a tight hold on the other end of the chain. Guard Bot started thrashing, giving me a hard time.

“Eh, Kairi! Go help the guys!â€

She nodded and went to go help the others. I was still having a hard time trying to keep the Bot in the same place. Jack stood up and jumped down from the roof, swiping his bony fingers at the Bot. Now the Bot was getting really annoyed. It got one of its arms free and grabbed onto the chain, pulling on it hard, I was struggling just to keep my grip on the thing. It ripped the chain out of my hands and hit me over the head with it.

“Ow…†I said

I grabbed onto the chain again before the Guard Bot could unwrap itself and pulled it tight. With Riku and Sora healed they came in to help me; Riku grabbing onto the Chain along with me to keep the Bot still and Sora making the final blow. I loosened the grip on the chain and called my blade back to my hand and shortening the chain again. Dr. Finklestein climbed out of the heap and coughed before gasping at the sight of his experiment destroyed,

“You people destroyed my Guard Bot! Now I’ll have to start all over again.â€

I growled. So all of that effort to help him was a complete waste! Sora sighed as the steamed ‘doctor’ went back up to his lab. Jack scratched his head and looked at us, Sora shook his head; I rubbed the back of my head, mostly because it was sore from when the Guard Bot used my chain to conk me on the head.

“Well, thank you again Sora, you always help out when we need it.â€

Sora nodded,

“No problem.â€

We sighed and walked back to Christmas town to speak to Santa again. We stayed for only a little bit but Kairi fell asleep and I was about to,

“Chip, Dale, I think it’s time to get back to the gummy ship…â€

“Alright Bailey, we’ll beam you up.â€

Everyone said goodbye and we were up in the gummy ship in no time. I sighed and put the ship in auto pilot before standing up, picking Sora up by his arm, sitting him back down in the captain’s seat and taking the ship out of auto pilot. He nodded and took the wheel before I went to sleep for a few hours.

When I woke up we were at Radiant Gardens. Riku was asleep too and Sora was in the darkened market getting more supplies. When I fell back asleep, I didn’t figure that something bad would happen.

(claps) great job Jap. I can see what you meant by this not bieng your best work, but it's still good. Jack...will he ever learn? (shakes head) Notes. Kadaj is back, eh? Figures. He never leaves Cloud alone, and now he's after Bailey again. Great. Just great.

A Familiar Face

I woke up in a rush; the sudden change in darkness level overwhelmed me. I looked at Riku and saw he was already up and a bit antsy. He looked up and noticed my looking at him. He looked at my face and noticed the anxiousness in my eyes and frowned when he knew what it was. I looked around the room to se it was empty other then Riku and I.

“Where’s-”

“Kairi and Sora? Sora is up at the castle looking at some sort of computer… and Kairi needed to talk to her mom about something.” Riku said

“Oh, I see.” I said

I sighed after a few silent minutes passed and I stood up. As is always when I’m bored I went to go find my brother. Riku watched me leave and went to follow me but Cid called him over. I walked down to the market and looked around for Cloud. I spotted Leon and ran over to him,

“Leon, do you know where Nii-sama is?”

Leon looked at me and sighed,

“No, I haven’t seen him all day, but it doesn’t feel right that he isn’t here, he’s usually here in the market…”

I looked at Leon-san and nodded, before walking down the stairs to the burrow, Aerith was coming out of Merlin’s study and I winced at how well she could show emotions. Her whole face showed worried-ness and sadness that I don’t think I could EVER imitate. I got worried about her; I had never seen her like this before. Aerith was always the one who cheered you up when you felt terrible, I always thought of her like a bigger sister, and Cloud was always happy that she would take care of me. She saw me and quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and gave a fake smile,

“Oh, Bailey! It’s nice to see you!”

I frowned, not being fazed by her ‘happiness’

“Aerith, why are you sad?”

She smiled,

“There’s no fooling you, is there Bailey…. I’m worried about Cloud, he left in the middle of the night and I haven’t seen him since, what if something happened to him?!”

I looked down, shaking my head

“I don’t think anything happened to him,”

“Bailey, can you find him? I’m so worried….”

I nodded and started to walk up to the bailey, putting my hands in my pockets,

“If Aerith is worried, then Tifa must be freaking out too….”

I didn’t get far when I bumped into her; in fact, she looked like she was going to come find me,

“Bailey! Just the one I was looking for!”

I cocked my head to one side; she took something off her back and handed it to me. My eyes lit up.

“My hoverboard! Where did you find it?” I asked

“I found it hidden in the water tunnels. Hey, could you go find Cloud? It’s ticking me off that every time I think I find him he runs off” Tifa said

I nodded, giving her a hug before hopping on my hoverboard. I thought of where Nii-sama would be and closed my eyes,

Cloud, where are you?....

I opened my eyes and shot off towards the outskirts of town, looking at the run down city off a few miles away. I hovered in the air as I scanned the town; I sighed once I saw a church at the edge of the town. I landed a bit away from the church so I could be as quiet as possible when I was able to see Cloud. I came to the open doors and glimpsed Cloud in front of the patch of Lilies growing out of an area where the floor boards had been ripped out. He sat down at the edge and set his head in his hands. I took off my shoes and walked as silent as a cat. He looked up at the statue and I leaned against one of the pillars while facing the door,

“You’re doing it again,”

Cloud jumped a little then looked at me with a confused expression,

“What are you talking about?”

I huffed and walked over to him, putting my hands on my hips,

“You’re being EMO again!”

“AM NOT!” Cloud said

I sighed and crossed my arms, looking to my right

“Yeah, right…..”

Cloud looked at me,

“It’s just, there’s been a lot on my mind, and I’ve had to do a lot of things…”

I shook my head and looked at him,

“That doesn’t mean you can’t let the others know how you’re feeling. Tifa has been trying to find you ever since I got here, not to mention Aerith is worried sick. Why did you run off?”

Cloud sighed and looked back at the lilies; I sat down next to him,

“I told you, I have a lot on my mind, and… I’m not sure if I can forgive myself for….”

I looked at him,

“For what?”

Cloud looked down sadly,

“Like all the times that I couldn’t protect you, when you were just a second from death and I couldn’t help at all…. Thanks to Christie, you lived…”

That’s right… that was almost 7 years ago…

I laughed as I ran out to the cliff,

“Try and catch me Chrissie!”

“No fair! You had a head start!”

Christie was a bit behind me. Cloud and Leon watching us as we played,

“Don’t go to close to the edge!”

They went back to their conversation. I giggled and ran to the cliff and went to stop just before I got to the edge, but a rock caught my foot and I stumbled a few steps. I got a glimpse of the ocean down below and my eyes widened in horror seeing as I didn’t know how to swim. Christie gasped

“Bailey!” she screamed

Cloud and Leon turned around and froze when they saw me, Cloud automatically thrust forward out of instinct, wanting to grab me off the edge. Christie grabbed my arm as I dangled from the edge,

“Bailey! Just hold on, ok?”

Fear filled my eyes as tears slipped down my cheek; I looked up at Christie and froze when my hand started to slip out of hers. Cloud stopped at Christie and grabbed my hand once it came out of Christie’s. Christie grabbed my other hand and helped pull me up, I gasped for air, tears flowed out of my widened eyes, and I was frozen in fear. Cloud held me close to him, and didn’t want to let go,

“Christie, thank you” Cloud said shakily.

Christie nodded and fell over as Leon put a hand on Cloud’s shoulder,

“And because of me, Zack is gone… I can’t do anything right…”

I looked at Cloud,

“Cloud, it wasn’t you’re fault, it was in the past, put it behind you.” I said

He got even sadder; I smiled and looked up at the roof,

“Nankurunaisa!” I shouted into the air

Cloud looked at me and a smile somehow found a way to his face. I smiled and grabbed his hand. I heard the door open and saw Tifa on the other side. I looked at my hoverboard and smiled when I saw the tracking device attached to it. I looked back at Tifa and noticed something was wrong, she was out of breath and she looked like she was just fighting someone.

“Tifa!? What happened?”

Tifa regained herself and walked in, I was surprised to see Kairi walking in

“Cloud… It’s him… he’s attacking the town.” Tifa said

Cloud’s expression disappeared in an instant and he frowned. He quickly stood up and let go of my hand, walking towards the door. I stood up and ran over to him, intending to go with him. But he held out and arm,

“Stay here.”

“But Cloud!-”

“But nothing! You are to stay here with Tifa. Tifa, make sure she doesn’t leave, and stay here until I come get you.”

Tifa nodded as Cloud walked outside and shut the doors. I stared at the closed doors and ran to the part of the building where the walls were destroyed and watched Cloud ride off on a motorcycle. Tifa looked around at the church; Kairi spotted the lilies and ran over to them

“So, this is where Cloud hangs out…” she said quietly

I nodded and went back to my spot by the lilies

“I hope he doesn’t take too long,”

I looked up at the statue and sighed. We stayed there for around a half an hour until something nagged at me to where I couldn’t bear it.

“Kairi? What about Riku and Sora? Are they ok? Did something happen to them?”

Kairi looked at me and smiled,

“It’s ok; they stayed behind to help the town. They said they would come back with Cloud once they finished.” She said

I smiled back and nodded. Another few minutes went by and I heard someone walking up to the church. I stood and turned around, but froze. It wasn’t Cloud; this guy’s darkness level went way beyond Cloud’s.

“T-Tifa?”

I looked at Tifa in confusion and she grabbed me before putting me on top of the rafters

“Stay here. And whatever you do, don’t come down until he is gone.”

I looked at Tifa in confusion but nodded. She jumped back down to Kairi and put a hand on her shoulder, she looked at the door when it slammed open. I looked down to see who came in. it was a teen about a year or two older then me, his hair was very short and sort of matched the color of Kadaj’s hair. His outfit was completely black and he had some sort of silver weapon on his left arm.

“Who are you?” Tifa asked

The boy looked at Tifa,

“Where is she-?”

“I asked you a question.”

The boy smiled and looked down at the floor laughing and Kairi stepped back

“Etch this into you’re memory: the name’s Loz.”

Loz? I looked down at the three, wondering who ‘she’ is. Loz cleared his throat and started to take casual steps towards Tifa and Kairi. He looked at Tifa’s feet, and then Kairi’s

“I see you both are wearing you’re shoes…”

Tifa looked at Loz in confusion

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“I uh, found a pair of girls shoes outside, they look about the size of you’re young friend there.”

I mentally slapped myself. How could I have been careless to LEAVE them out there?!

“So? Where is she-”

“There’s no one here.” Tifa said

Loz smiled and took another step, extending his arms outward

“Fine, play with me.”

Tifa stared at Loz and told Kairi to move to a safe spot. She ran behind a piece of rubble and looked back at Tifa. I looked at Tifa to see her take out a pair of black gloves. Loz looked at her in suspicion as he watched her put them on and get into a fighting stance. He smiled and held up the arm with the silver weapon on it.

“Huh, this’ll be fun.” He said

He got into a fighting stance. Tifa scowled and tightened her fists before thrusting forward and swinging one of her arms. Loz blocked her arm and she swung the other, getting him in the chin. She continued to throw punches at him, forcing him back. She swung her leg and kicked him in the chin. He recovered quickly and swung the silver weapon into her chest, both electrocuting her and throwing her back. She sneered and back flipped so she could land on her feet. She looked up and wiped the blood from her chin. Loz held up his weapon and smiled. Electricity coursed through Tifa’s hand and she shook it to make it go away before making a fist. She jumped at Loz and swung her leg, trying to knock him off his feet. But he flipped over her and landed perfectly on his feet. He looked back at her just to get punched square in the face, thrusting him towards the wall. He stood on his feet as Tifa thrust towards the wall, dodging her every time she tried to land a hit. He finally got hit and was thrown upwards. To get back onto his feet he flipped around and landed on his knees. He looked up and Tifa kicked up with one foot, thrusting his chin up, then down with the other, causing his head to fall. Then she flipped with her foot extended and thrusting him back. She landed on her feet and moved towards him, he swung his weapon at her but she caught it with her arm. He growled and pulled the trigger to activate his weapon, sending Tifa back three feet. She maintained her balance, but he kicked her in the stomach, pushing her back another 5 feet. She held up her arms in defense and went on one knee. He stepped forwards and swung his weapon; she ducked down and caused Loz to make a good dent in the wall. She grabbed him and thrust forward, then brought her foot up to his stomach and let go of him before pushing down on his stomach, making him hit the floor with a great force. After doing that she pushed herself forward, but Loz grabbed her ankle and stood up, swinging her around and into a few of the benches, then finally throwing her into the opposite wall where the statue was. Tifa shifted her weight to where she could land on the wall, and right when she did, the petals of the lilies went flying. She looked up at Loz to see him smiling. She pushed off the wall and Loz was ready to electrocute her once more. Tifa reached her hand forward and grabbed his neck, throwing him on the ground and then in the air. She turned around quickly and jumped upwards before grabbing Loz and throwing him into a group of benches. She landed on the ground and wiped her hands off. Kairi and I smiled and Kairi ran over to Tifa, Tifa smiled and looked at her and then at me. I was about to jump down until a phone rang out through the church. I looked down to see Loz standing up out of the rubble and flipping open his phone

“She’s not… here. I am NOT crying!”

He looked at Kairi

“No I got it, I’ll bring the girl”

He closed his phone and stepped forwards, readying his weapon.

“Where were we?”

Tifa scowled. Loz shot one of the benches at Tifa and Kairi. Kairi screamed and ducked down. Tifa swung her arm, tearing the bench into pieces. I looked at Loz to see him disappear and reappear on Tifa’s side. He smiled and pulled the trigger on his weapon. Mine and Kairi’s eyes widened as Tifa fell forward. Loz disappeared and reappeared again. His weapon held her up in the air and he pulled the trigger once more before throwing her into the lily patch. He walked towards her and I tried my hardest not to jump down and beat him to a bloody pulp. Kairi looked like she was about to faint. Loz grabbed her shirt and picked her up, readying his weapon for the final blow. I scowled and got ready to jump down until I saw Loz get hit in the head with a rock. He looked at Kairi and smiled, dropping Tifa and walking to Kairi. She frowned and stepped back. Tifa moaned and struggled to sit up, Loz stood face to face with Kairi,

“Sora…” she said, scared

Tifa gasped,

“Just run!”

Loz scowled and turned around,

“Shut up already!”

He shoved her head into the ground, knocking her out. Kairi stepped back. Loz turned back towards Kairi,

“You’re coming with me.”

He grabbed Kairi’s arms and she started to struggle,

“Let go!”

I had enough,

“Leave her alone!”

I jumped on Loz’s back and put him in a headlock, he automatically let go of Kairi and grabbed at my arms, trying to rip me off,

“Kairi! Run!”

Loz finally ripped my arm away from his throat and threw me on the floor. My head hit the floor hard, giving me a major headache, Kairi ran out of the church and towards Radiant Gardens. Loz looked at me and then at my feet, seeing that they were bear, he knelt over me and put his weapon to my neck while getting out his phone,

“Tell me again, did she have hazel eyes?... and brownish hair?”

He smiled maniacally.

“Ok, thanks for the description.”

I frowned. He grabbed my arm and dragged me outside,

“Let me go! Now!”

Loz looked at me and smiled,

“Aww, come on Bailey, you don’t want to see Kadaj again? He’s wanted to see you for a long time.”

My eyes widened as Loz put me on a motorcycle and sitting on it himself to where I was in front of him, but he could still grab onto the handles. I screamed as loud as I could in hopes of that being a diversion. But all it did was give the returning Cloud and Riku the sign that I was in trouble.

“Bailey!” Cloud and Riku shouted

Loz smirked and drove off around the church and towards Radiant Gardens, I frowned,

“What does Kadaj want with me?!”

Loz smiled,

“He just wants to talk with you, in fact, you’re friends should be there too, he wants to talk to all four of the Heroes of Destiny.”

I looked at Loz and then forward to the outskirts of Radiant Gardens, if Riku, Sora, and Kairi were going to be there, then I would let Loz take me. Once we got to the town, Loz drove through the streets. We came up to the waterway and Kadaj stood on one of them, Loz took me off of the motorcycle and sat me down on the ‘sidewalk’ on the side of the waterway. I looked up at Kadaj and he smiled down at me.

“Miss me?”

I frowned and heard another motorcycle and saw Kairi get thrown next to me. I put a hand on her back, a little concerned for her. I looked to see who was on the other motorcycle and saw a boy with a little longer hair then Kadaj’s, but same color again. His outfit was black too. Even Kadaj’s outfit was black.

“Nice work Yazoo. Have you located the boys?” Kadaj asked

Yazoo looked at me and then Kadaj,

“One of them followed me, he has Brown spiked hair.”

I stared at Yazoo and saw Sora jump up to attack him. Yazoo stepped out of the way, causing Sora and tumble and land next to us. Kadaj nodded,

“And ‘Him’?”

“Why here he comes now,” Yazoo said

Yazoo turned around and watched as Riku and Cloud ran up the sidewalk to us,

“Riku!” I shouted

Loz smirked and disappeared again, appearing in front of Cloud and letting Riku pass. Riku looked back at Loz in confusion. I looked at Kadaj and stood up, walking over to him and standing five feet away from him. Riku ran over and stood next to me. Sora and Kairi stood up and stood next to each other. Kadaj looked at Riku and smiled.

“Hello, little brother.”

I stared at Kadaj and then at Riku. Riku looked just as confused as me,

“Little brother?”

Kadaj smiled,

“Oh? Mother didn’t tell you? She had three sons before you, all of us.”

Kadaj held out his hands to Loz and Yazoo, they smiled. Riku stared at the other two.

“Kadaj, why did you attack the town?” I asked, trying to change the subject,

Kadaj jumped down and walked towards me. I frowned when he held my chin and looked at me like Hikaru did Melissa.

“Because I knew I had finally found you,”

Riku growled and hit Kadaj away from me, putting me behind him.

“You stay away from my girl, freak.”

Kadaj frowned when he Heard Riku say ‘my girl’. Then looked at me and squinted his eyes. Loz and Yazoo moved to get Riku, but Kadaj shook his head. They stayed where they were.

“You didn’t tell me you were with my younger brother Bailey; I thought you and I had something.”

I shook my head,

“I didn’t even remember you until a few days Kadaj, and everything I had remembered weren’t good memories.”

Kadaj gave a sad look,

“Oh, but we ALWAYS had fun together.”

I frowned,

“You tried to kill my brother, and then you attempted to kidnap me.”

Kadaj frowned, looking at Cloud.

“Why were you obsessed with trying to get me?”

Kadaj looked at me

“Don’t you know what Dawn the Guardian has within them? And WHY they have a Protector?”

I looked at Kadaj, not really knowing what he meant. Kadaj smiled

“Every Dawn before you have had a Demon with immense power sealed in them. This demon has both the power to open all three doors: the Door to Light, the Door to Darkness, and the Realm in Between and the power to help save the Universe, or destroy it. If anyone gets their hands on this power, they can get anything they wish. That’s why the Protector has to do something to protect her…. Do you know what that is?”

I froze, and Kadaj’s smile got even wider, I tightened my fists,

“Don’t-you-dare!” I shouted,

Kadaj held out his hands,

“He has to DIE! Just like every one of the Protectors before him, and it’s all Dawn’s fault-”

“STOP IT!” I screamed,

Kadaj smirked as I fell to my knees, grasping my necklace. Riku stared at Kadaj, and then looked at me. Kairi, Sora, and Nii-sama looked at me and Riku. Kadaj walked over to me and Riku, pushing Riku out of the way and kneeling down to look me in the face. I sat back as fast as I could, holding myself up with my hands. Kadaj looked at me and his eyes found my necklace,

“What’s this?”

He grabbed it and plucked it from my neck,

“Give it back! It’s precious to me!”

Kadaj looked at me, holding it up,

“Did your precious Protector give it to you?”

I frowned, which he took for a yes.

“You’d be better off without this trinket AND you’re precious protector!” he said

He threw it over the edge and then grabbed Riku and pushed him off as well. My eyes widened,

“NO!” Sora and Kairi shouted,

I shook my head and clutched at my heart,

“RIKU!”

A wolf with grey, white, and black fur, about the size of a lion, jumped over me and down the side of the wall. I stared after it and my eyes widened when I saw it jump back up with Riku on its back. Cloud stared at that wolf in disbelief.

“Riku!”

I ran over to the wolf and Riku, he looked VERY confused, but smiled when I ran over to him. Sora and Kairi got a look of relief. Kadaj scowled,

“Loz! Yazoo!”

Loz and Yazoo nodded to Kadaj and ran at the four of us; Yazoo swung his arm at Kairi and Sora and knocked them over one of the sides of the waterway, Loz knocking me and Riku over the other. Riku grabbed onto me and the wolf caught us and landed on one of the roofs of the houses down below. Dashing from roof to roof till we came to the stairs that led to market. He ran up the stairs and skidded to a stop when we got to the top,

“We have to go back! Sora and Kairi need help!” I said

The wolf looked at me,

“I’m afraid I cannot do that… even if I DID go back, we could not make it in time”

I looked down, then at the wolf,

“By the way, what is your name?”

I swear I saw the wolf smile.

“You should know the answer to that, better then anyone.”

I looked at the wolf in confusion, and then noticed his eyes. Those eyes…. I knew them…..

“Z-Zack?”

The wolf closed his eyes and bowed his head. My eyes widened and I let my head fall. Riku got off of Zack and helped me off too. I looked at Zack and sniffed before thrusting towards him and hugging him around his neck, not caring that I wasn’t hugging his normal form, just thankful to be at least hugging him,

“Why did you leave us Zack? It wasn’t the same after you left….”

Zack rested his head on my shoulder,

“I’m sorry,”

I sniffed and let go of Zack and then looked down,

“Bailey? M-maybe we should tell the Harrishima family and Ms. Tekima…” Riku said, a little sad

I looked at Riku and shook my head,

“There’s no need, Sora wouldn’t let it end for either of them, not that easily.”

Riku looked at me and nodded.

“Oh!”

Riku reached into his pocket and took out my necklace before having me turn around and putting it around my neck. I smiled once he was done and kissed him lightly. Zack looked at me and Riku and ‘smiled’ again. He sat down and I looked at him,

“Zack?”

Zack looked at me,

“Hmm?”

“Why are you in the form of our family Guardian?”

Zack closed his eyes,

“I CHOSE to take the role of your guardian. I didn’t think I had spent enough time to watch you grow up, and Cloud seemed a little… depressed, when I went away.”

I laughed,

“A LITTLE?”

Zack laughed,

“Ok, maybe a lot.”

I looked at Zack, a little sadness shown through my eyes,

“But- if you chose to be our guardian, why couldn’t you do your job in your regular form?.... with us…”

Zack stood up again and walked over to me,

“If I knew that I could… I would have.”

I frowned and watched as he disappeared in a bright light. I looked at Riku,

“Maybe if we take the….”

I looked at the sky around where we met Kadaj and saw a beam of light coming from a Highwind.

“Bailey?” Riku asked

I looked at him and then walked to the gummy hanger where Black Trinity was in. Riku followed me, but in confusion. No one was in here, so we didn’t have to go through a long goodbye. I set a note on Cid’s desk and boarded the ship along with Riku.

“We’re going to find Sora and Kairi.” I said

Soul Reapers vs. Rioka

As we came out of the atmosphere I heard Riku fidgeting in his seat. I sighed and looked around before seeing a few new worlds on the radar.

“It looks like Sora opened up a new path, a few in fact….GAH! They could be on any of them!â€

Riku sighed

“Guess we should start with one of ‘emâ€

I nodded,

“Sora would probably just choose the closest ones, so I’ll choose that one. Chip, which world is the closest?â€

“The closest one will take a little over 10 hours to get to; these ones are pretty far away. But the world’s name is Seireteiâ€

Riku’s face screwed up,

“Now THAT’S an odd name.â€

I shook my head laughing, putting the ship in autopilot. Riku looked at me

“Can I ask you something Riku?â€

“You just did,â€

I lightly smacked Riku on the arm and he laughed.

“Go ahead†Riku laughed

“Are you ever scared?†I asked

“Of what?†Riku asked

“Of what could happen on this journey,â€

Riku looked at me and smiled a bit,

“I can’t tell you, how many times I’ve gotten scared of what could happen. Not a minute goes by that I don’t think about thatâ€

I looked down,

“Do you remember what Kadaj said…. About Dawn and the Protector?â€

Riku looked at me and then slowly nodded

“Are you worried about me?†he asked

I looked down,

“Of course I am! It isn’t fair that you have to die for me!â€

Riku stood up and walked over to me before having me stand up too,

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep my promise, I stay with you always.â€

I smiled and nodded,

It was a very boring wait for us to get to Seiretei. I ended falling asleep for a few hours before we got there, and… SURPRISE! There was NO gummy port, what so ever. This was starting to bug me. We beamed down into the world and it felt like a weight was dropped on my heart and lungs. And swallowed and clutched at my chest. What was this feeling? Was it because of the world? I looked around and saw someone running our direction, a kid about our age, with turquoise hair, and wearing an outfit that a captain would wear. Running alongside of him was a woman with orange-ish hair and… lets just say she must have developed at an early age and continued from there…..

“who are you?! More Rioka?â€

I looked up to see the kid standing like he was about to punch us, and the woman was ready to unsheathe her sword. I stared at him and Riku piped up,

“What the hell is a Rioka?â€

The boy looked at the woman and whispered something to her

“Yes captain, I understand.†The woman said

I stared at them and frowned, getting an uneasy feeling. Next thing I know the woman disappears. What is this? Magic? Or… No. Se was running, just too fast for us to see. I took a lucky guess

“Riku! Move to your left!†I said

Riku looked at me and jumped to his left quickly and was shocked to see the woman’s sword where his shoulder once was. The woman looked at me as if in surprise, she disappeared again and Riku and I exchanged a look, I moved my fingers to signal him to jump back. We both jumped back and summoned our blades. The woman appeared back in her spot next to the boy, who apparently was a captain, and they both stared at us.

“Who are you? Are you working with the Rioka?†the woman asked

“Again: what the hell is a Rioka?!†Riku asked, a little agitated

“Rioka are people who infiltrate the Seiretei from outside of the walls. We have had a big number of Rioka reported all over the area, our job is to capture the Rioka, alive, or dead.†The boy said

I swallowed thickly then my eyes widened,

“Wait! Have you seen a boy with spiky brown hair and a blade in the shape of a key?! Or a girl with red hair- she’s probably with the boyâ€

The boy looked at me,

“I’m sorry, but I haven’t seen any other Rioka… besides you.â€

I stared at him when his hand moved to his sword. I got an uneasy feeling about this boy, he seemed like he was nice and all, but I think something was nagging at him. The woman had a tight grip on her sword. I frowned and looked at Riku before turning around, grabbing his hand, and running the opposite direction. I knew I couldn’t outrun them, but I wasn’t in the mood for fighting anyone. Well, my mood had to change once I found myself staring at the stern look of the woman and having Riku knocked out of my grip. I looked back at Riku and made to keep him from falling but I couldn’t stop what happened next from happening. One second I’m staring at Riku, the next, I feel the boy captain’s fist lodging itself in my stomach. The force made me bend over and gag, and I swear that if that punch was just a LITTLE harder, his fist would have come through my back

“Bailey!†Riku shouted


The boy took his fist back as I fell to my knees and grabbed my stomach. Riku stood up just but sneered when the woman threw her sword onto his Way to Dawn. They went off into a sword fight as me and the boy were in a battle of strength. He swung his leg at me thinking that because I was cringing from his punch he could get me again. I looked at his leg and grabbed it right before it hit my head, he frowned.

“Well, I’m sure by now…. You know our NAMES!†I said

I threw him against a wall while I said ‘names’ and regained myself while he ran at me and threw a punch. Riku got a hit on the woman and she retaliated by knocking him back. I knocked away all of the captain’s punches with the palms of my hands.

“Riku and Bailey I presume?†he said

I caught one of his fists as he swung it at me, and when he swung the other, I caught it and pushed on them to try and push him back,

“Bingo. Now, am I aloud to know your names?â€

The boy pushed back and I was surprised when I started to slide back. I put my feet into a position that might be able to keep me from moving.

“I’m Captain Toushiro Hitsugaya of squad 10 that is my lieutenant, Rangiku Matsumotoâ€

I smirked and I started to dig my nails into the back of his hands and bending them backwards. I don’t think he was used to this because his face showed a bit of pain.

“Nice to meet you Captain Hitsugaya.†I said

I spun him around and threw him in the direction of Rangiku. Riku saw Toushiro and moved out of the way as he collided with Lieutenant Matsumoto. I walked over to the two and watched as they stood back up.

“You know, if you say the word, we can help you find the other Rioka, all you have to do is ask.â€

Toushiro stared at me in disbelief.

“You would actually do that? But why?â€

I shook my head; Riku put his blade on his shoulder,

“There isn’t really a reason, we just do that,â€

Toushiro and Rangiku stared at us for a second. Toushiro sighed and sheathed his sword, Rangiku followed suit. Toushiro walked up to me.

“You have a deal, we can work together, but will you help me even if it’s not to find the other Rioka?â€

Riku and I nodded; I bowed and pulled Riku down to make him bow too. Toushiro and Rangiku found this humorous. We stood back up as Toushiro and Rangiku started to walk towards a forest on the outskirts of the facility. On the way the feeling on my heart was nagging at me,

“Hey, Captain Hitsugaya?â€

Toushiro looked at me; he looked a little surprised for some reason, Rangiku smiled,

“You’re actually calling him ‘captain’?†she asked

I smiled awkwardly

“Um, yeah, so?â€

“So far, you’re the only Rioka who has called him in the appropriate term.â€

I laughed a little, Toushiro looked at me,

“What was your question?†he asked

“Oh! Um, I was wondering, is there a reason why I feel a pressure on my heart?â€

Toushiro raised an eyebrow like it was obvious,

“It’s Spiritual Pressure, it’s the power within everyone, some people know how to conceal their spiritual pressure, but others just walk around with it showing.â€

Rangiku rubbed under her nose,

“No offence, but neither of you seem like you have much.â€

“Lieutenant….†Toushiro growled

Rangiku laughed nervously; I shrugged. We walked a little further, next to a big cliff, and I felt something, the pressure on my chest got heavier. As the other three kept walking I looked up and a spot on the cliff caught my eye, I looked back at the others and then walked up to the cliff. There was something strange about this cliff and I anted to know what it was. I got up to the spot that the pressure was coming from and somehow I went into it. I looked around to see that this was a whole different area then the one I was just in. I heard someone fighting and I hid behind a rock while watching,

“Ichigo, that’s good for now.†A woman said

I looked to see an orange haired boy with wounds covering his body. He was fighting a dark man. He sighed and stuck his sword in the ground and walked off to a spring, my attention turned towards the woman as she looked up in my general direction. I quickly went directly behind the rock, hoping she didn’t see me. I looked back and saw that she wasn’t there,

“What do we have here? A spy perhaps?â€

Aww crap. That’s where she decided to appear. I looked at her to see a wide smile on her face, something that you wouldn’t expect to see on someone’s face at this time; my eye twitched.

“Hey! Yoroichi! I have a question!†I heard the boy shout,

Yoroichi smiled even wider and grabbed my arm before stepping off the cliff. Instead of falling like I expected, I could see a blur of the scenery until we landed softly on the ground, well, she did at least. I fell flat on my face and brought it back up as I drummed my fingers on the ground; the boy looked at me with a confused look and Yoroichi still smiled down at me,

“So, are you stalking Ichigo or something? Oh, maybe you want to be his girl? Take away his virginity?â€

I got mad when she said ‘his girl’, but I lost it when she said that I wanted to get into bed with him, Ichigo didn’t seem happy either

“What the hell are you talking about?!†we shouted in unison

My eye twitched and Yoroichi laughed,

“Oh come on, can’t you take a joke?â€

I looked up at her,

“Why aren’t you fighting me? Didn’t you ask me if I was a spy or something?â€

“Well, no offense, but you don’t seem very strong, if you can’t even see a flashstep then it’s pointless to fight you,â€

I growled,

Ichigo looked at me,

“By the way, where did you come from? Are you with anyone?â€
I looked up at him and then smacked my head,

“Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!†I said to myself,

Ichigo raised an eyebrow,

“What’s the matter?â€

I huffed,

“I left Riku, Captain Hitsugaya, and Lieutenant Matsumoto without saying anything, I figured they would have noticed I was doing something and followed me…â€

Ichigo and Yoroichi stared at me,

“I’m glad that two of them didn’t.â€

Ichigo said,

I looked up at him,

“What-â€

“If one of them is a captain, and one of them is a lieutenant, then we can’t have them here,â€

I cocked my head but then realized what he might have meant,

Could he mean that because he is a Rioka? Like me?

“Ichigo.â€

Yoroichi had a stern look as she faced something behind us. We both turned around to see a bunch of heartless popping up; I scowled and stood up as a group of Shadows and Armored Knights, Ichigo looked confused,

“Hey Yoroichi? What are these things, they don’t look like hollows,†he said

“No, but keep your guard up, we don’t know what they can do,†she said,

“Heh,â€

I pulled out the charm Chris and Leon gave me and quickly summoned my blade,

“Maybe not you,â€

I slipped on the keychain,

My blade flashed and changed into a double sword, with both my normal keychain, and the keychain Chrissie gave to me attached on both sides, one of the blades with the Leonheart crest coming out from the edge, and the other, having a wing and half of my Strife crest on it; I smirked. Double team huh?

“But me? Now that’s another story,†I said

Ichigo and Yoroichi stared at me as I ran towards the heartless; I looked down at my blade

Let’s see what you can do…

I swung by blade at one of the Armored Knights and it disappeared in a mix between black blood and black smoke. I turned around to see another Armored Knight running up to me and flipped over it before slicing it in half; I heard Ichigo fighting and saw him cutting down half of the amount of Shadows that appeared with a sword that was as long as his own body and as wide as Nii-sama’s just below the hilt and getting skinnier towards the end. Yoroichi was showing a good amount of strength because every heartless she punched was sent back about 4 yards. Because I was examining how the other two fought a heartless was able to sneak up on me and get a hit in; a nice gash going up my back. I held in the scream of pain as I turned around and literally threw my blade at the heartless, instead of just hitting the heartless and falling down, it gained speed in the air and acted like a boomerang, cutting through almost every heartless that were still alive, mostly the ones that were within punching range of everyone. I blinked,

“So that’s what it does….†I said to myself quietly

I heard another Armored Knight coming at me and I kicked it in the head before I retrieved my blade. Luck was, that was the last heartless and once it was down I clutched at my blade, panting maniacally. Ichigo stared at me in disbelief then his eyes shifted to Double Team. Yoroichi only smiled,

“Well, looks like I was wrong about you, you have some good fighting skills.†She said

I looked at her and winced as the pain from the gash started to get to me,

“I think I need to go,†I said

I started to walk to the cliff, still trying to ignore the pain from my wound. Ichigo walked after me,

“If there were Heartless here, who knows how many might sneak up on Riku…†I said

“But your wound needs attention; if you walk around with it exposed like that you could either die from blood loss or from an infection,â€

“I HAVE to go†I said

Yoroichi sighed and smiled as she grabbed me and pushed me towards a hot spring. I blinked a little and looked at it before getting pushed in. I slowly came up to the surface and sprayed out the water from my mouth in a miniature fountain, Yoroichi laughed.

“Why did you do that?!†I shouted once all of the water was out of my mouth,

“Take off your vest and shirt,†she said,

I stared at her,

“It will help the healing,†she said,

I nodded when I started to notice the pain slowly start to go away,

“But if Ichigo comes over here I’m going to wring his neck and hold his face under water,†I said

Yoichi laughed again,

“Relax; I’ll make sure he doesn’t come over here.†She said

I nodded and slipped my vest off; she looked at me

“By the way, what’s this Riku kid look like?â€

I looked at her as I started to take off my shirt,

“Why do you ask?†I asked

Yoroichi smiled,

“Well you made such a big fuss about him I was going to go find him for you,â€

I looked at her; smiling a little.

“He has silver hair, and turquoise eyes. He’s kind of taller then me, and last time I saw him he was with Captain Hitsugaya, oh, and if he tries to fight back, just mention my name,†I said,

She nodded as I set my shirt and vest on the shore, walking over to Ichigo and talking to him before disappearing. I covered my chest and looked at my back to see just a sliver left of the wound I had. I looked over to see Ichigo sitting down and looking in my direction,

“What are you staring at?!†I asked

He didn’t answer, and I sunk back down into the water. I looked at the rocks around us before looking at my back again and seeing that my wound was gone. I grabbed my shirt and put it on, walking over to Ichigo with my vest in my hands, and sopping wet. He looked at me,

“Do you have any siblings?â€

I looked at him as I wrung out my vest,

“Kind of a random topic don’t you think?â€

He laughed a little himself,

“Yeah, but I don’t know what to talk about,â€

I smiled and sat down, still trying to get all of the water out of my vest.

“Well? Do you?â€

I nodded,

“Yeah, an older brother. You?â€

“I AM the older brother; I have two sisters and a dad that acts like he should be a student at my high school….â€

“So basically you’re saying that you’re the one that’s sane.†I laughed.

He laughed and nodded, and I made him turn around, threatening him that if he looked then I would strangle him. I took off my shirt and put on my vest, zipping it up and starting to wring out my shirt, letting him turn back around.

“Ugh, why did she have to push me in? All she had to do was say that I needed to get in…..â€I muttered,

He laughed a bit,

“That’s Yoroichi for ya, she isn’t exactly normal…†he said

When I noticed him blushing madly and looking away and frowned,

“What are you thinking?â€

“About something Yoroichi did….. You don’t want to know….â€

I nodded, taking his word for it and continued to wring out my shirt, flapping it out once it was dry and once again telling Ichigo to turn around,

“So what’s this Riku kid to you? He your brother?†he asked

I unzipped my vest and put my shirt back on and slipped my vest back over that,

“Nope.â€

He turned back around and looked at me to continue my explanation. I was about to but I saw Yoroichi with an unconscious Riku slung over her shoulders, she herself a little worn out,

“Oh my god! What happened?!†I shouted

I ran over as she set Riku down, really wishing that I knew at least Cure. Or had any potions with me. Yoroichi panted hard,

“Apparently I came at a bad time. He and the other two had a bad run in with the same type of creatures we fought earlier…â€

I frowned,

“Damn it… I knew this would happen….â€I muttered,

Riku moaned as his eyes flickered open, when he caught sight of me he automatically sat up and hugged me tightly, not wanting to let go. Unfortunately this caused me to get the air hugged out of me,

“Oh my god Bailey!†he said

I smiled in pain, not a good combination,

“Riku can’t breathe…..â€

He let go and apologized, I nodded and looked at all of his cuts before looking up at Yoroichi,

“Can that spring help all of these wounds?â€

She nodded and had me and Ichigo help him over. I blushed and turned on my heel and went behind the rock that was useful for something to lean against while you were in the spring. Letting Riku and Ichigo have privacy. Once Riku called me back over I crawled back to see that they were both in the water, I lay down on my stomach near the edge and looked at Riku,

“So how long did it take you to notice I was gone?†I teased

Riku blushed a little out of embarrassment.

“Actually, Toushiro was the one to notice. Only a few seconds after we had just seen you too.â€

I laughed a little. Riku looked at his arms and body to see that his wounds were healing. He was a little surprised,

“Wow, this water is amazing!â€

Ichigo nodded and the looked up and stumbled backwards (sort of) and blushed madly, the same thing he did earlier when I talked to him. Riku had the same reaction. I tilted my head and I looked to my left to see a naked Yoroichi sitting criss-cross-applesauce with her hands on her knees right there on the rock next to me. I lost it,

“Mind if I join you?†she asked in an innocent tone

“WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!†I shouted at the top of my lungs,

I jumped in the water and covered Riku’s eyes, glaring at Yoroichi. Ichigo flipped around in embarrassment. Yoroichi laughed and jumped into the water, next thing I know a cat pops out of the water,

“Relax; I just wanted to take a swim.†A mans voice sounded from the swim,

I wanted to beat the cat that I KNOW was once Yoroichi, when It swam over to us I couldn’t stop my hand as it flew to the back of the cat and pushed it down into the water,

Once all of Riku’s wounds were healed I turned around as he got out and put on his pants. When I felt soft arms wrap around my neck I couldn’t help but be soothed by Riku’s scent and his soft skin.

“Don’t scare me like that Bailey….â€

“I’m sorry….†I said

“-Ey –uys….. We- fou- So- ra- -ignalâ€

I looked up and raced over to the drying communicator that had unfortunately fallen in with me, hooking it to my ear and pressing the button,

“Chip! Dale! Come in! Please say that again!â€

“Bai-ley, we have found So-o-ra’s signal, it’s on the move- we’re not sure if that means th-that he’s leaving the w-ld you’re on or if he’s on a differ-e-nt world and going t-t-to a dif-erent world, but it-s getting further- from your -ignal.â€

“Understood. We’ll get out of here as soon as possible.†I said.

I walked over as Riku put on his vest. I looked at Yoroichi and Ichigo,

“We need to go, our friends might be somewhere out here and we’ll need to find them.â€

Ichigo was about to say something, but something warned every one of us. The pressure on my heart got even worse and I couldn’t move, three giant creatures landed behind me and my eyes widened, I slowly turned around to see that they weren’t anything I knew of.

“What the hell are these things?!†Riku shouted,

I heard one of the creatures laugh, and it looked me straight in the eyes, making me shake like a leaf.

“Hollows.†Ichigo said

He got out his sword, and Yoroichi got ready to fight.

Riku got out his Way to dawn and looked at me to see if I would get out my blade. I could barely breathe let alone move, I know Riku was scared too, but he had been put through a lot more then I have in the past, but these creatures made me feel… insignificant. I didn’t know what to do. Next thing I know I see one of them licking their ‘lips’ and running after me,

“If you aren’t going to make the first move then I will!†it shouted,

“Bailey!â€

Move…

It reached out a hand as it turned into a blade-ish thing,

Move!...

Ichigo and Riku moved forward to try and catch the Hollow’s arm just to get into their own situation with another Hollow. Yoroichi moved after it to get to me but the last Hollow caught her attention

MOVE DAMN IT!

Right when the blade came down I brought out double team and tried to hold up the weight of the hollow. All the Hollow could do is laugh at my pathetic attempt.

“The little girl must think that she’s stronger then a hollow!â€

It laughed in my face and started to push down, and I struggled to keep myself from being crushed under his sword.

“You’re pathetic! If you can’t even put a scratch on me then you’re not worth fighting!†it shouted,

The hollow let off his blade and smacked me into the rock by the hot spring, my head hitting the rock so hard that I slowly started to see black. I felt the warm water as my eyes closed,

Riku was having a tough time trying to fight the hollow,

“How do you kill these things?!†he asked

He dodged one of the blows and heard a smash. He looked back to see Bailey getting thrown into the rock and then crashing into the hot spring. He growled,

Ichigo was finally able to jump up and slice the Hollows mask right down the middle,

“Like that,†he said

He landed perfectly on his feet and left Riku to get Bailey as he ran over to Yoroichi to help her.

Riku ran to the Hot Spring and dove in, pulling Bailey out of the water. He laid her on the rock beside the water and sighed in relief as she coughed the water from her lungs and started breathing again. He blocked the attack from the hollow that Bailey had been dealing with before it knocked her into the water. He looked at it and pushed the blade away before cutting the Hollow’s arm off. It reeled in pain and glared at the now empty area where his arm used to be.

“You pest!†it shouted

I coughed and opened my eyes, blinking a few times to get the water out of them. When I heard the sound of fighting still going on I looked up to see Riku fighting the Hollow I was trying to fight just now. I tried to sit up but that made me feel like throwing up.

“Ah! Bailey!†Riku said,

When he turned around the Hollow took this chance to grab Riku and squeeze him with his only hand,

“Riku!â€

I threw Double Team at the Hollow’s arm and it growled at me, dropping Riku,

“You’re beginning to be a pest!†it said

The Hollow held out his hand towards me and spears started to form. Before I could even blink the spears were racing towards me and I couldn’t move. Next thing I know I’m staring at Riku’s back, two of the spears were piercing through his shoulders, and then the other one had scratched his side and landed right next to me,

“R-Riku…..â€

Riku glared at the Hollow, holding back the pain that the spears had created.

“Ugh, brat!†the Hollow shouted

It swiped at Riku, throwing him into the wall.

No…

My eyes widened as the Hollow walked over to Riku and held out his hand, changing it into a sword again.

Please….

He started to swing his arm,

“Time to die!†he shouted

“STOP!â€

‘Ugh, you can’t even stop a lug like this? Guess it’s my turn.’

Bailey’s eyes changed to a blood red, and her pupils became a slit.

“Learn your place.†She said in a voice much different then her own

In less then a second the Hollow’s other arm was gone, and it stared at Bailey. With what consciousness Riku had left he stared at Bailey, bewildered. The Hollow growled and raised its leg to kick Bailey, once its leg hit Bailey it stared at her, surprised that she wasn’t moved even a centimeter.

“Didn’t I tell you to back off?†Bailey said,

Bailey jumped up and kicked the Hollow in the face, cracking its mask. She summoned Double Team and sliced the mask down the middle.

“Well, you should have listened.†She said

She watched as the Hollow disappeared, screeching in horror and pain. She looked over at Yoroichi and Ichigo as they stared back at her, the Hollow they were fighting having disappear. Bailey looked at Riku and sighed as he closed his eyes, she held up her hand,

“Curaga.â€

Riku’s eyes blinked open as his wounds disappeared. He stood up and looked at Bailey, taking a step back as she took a step forward. He stared into her eyes,

“Relax; I’m not going to hurt you. Even if Bailey is sleeping, she still shows through me. So I can’t hurt n if I tried.†She said,

Riku stared at ‘Bailey’

“Take good care of Bailey for me.â€

Riku looked at Bailey as she closed her eyes and fell forward. He tensed and caught her as she fell. Ichigo and Yoroichi stared at the two,

“There is something special about that girl…†Yoroichi said

My eyes flickered open as I felt Riku giving me a ride on his back, we were back in the area with buildings, and I was guessing that Chip and Dale had said to get our butts back into the ship.

“Riku….â€

Riku looked at me and sighed,

“Finally you wake up, I had to say goodbye to Ichigo, Yoroichi, and even Toushiro and Rangiku.â€

“Sorry…†I said,

Riku shook his head,

“It’s fine.†He said

We got to the spot where we had been beamed down and Chip and Dale brought us back up.

I wonder what happened to me when I passed out….

COBAT!: Dance For Your Life!

It was a very slow day. Not a single new world had opened a path, and Sora and the gang were hanging out in the gummy hanger for Black Trinity.

“Gah! It’s so boring!†I whined

I fell backwards and lay sprawled on the floor in front of the couch that Cid had put in here. Sora looked basically like he wanted to do the same thing, Riku sat on the couch with his fist on his cheek, elbow resting on the arm of the couch. Kairi was outside trying to learn magic from Aerith. Cloud was looking through videos of TV shows that me and him used to watch together. His eye twitched when his hand touched one of them and he cringed. I looked at him and hopped up,

“What is it?! What is it?!†I shouted,

I bounced back and forth and smiled widely when I saw what it was. I snatched it up and bounced up and down,

“Please?! Please, please, please, please?!!!!â€

Cloud shook his head rapidly. When I heard Christina walking in with Yuffie I smiled even more widely, holding the tape in front of them,

“Remember this?!†I asked

Chrissie and Yuffie’s faces lit up.

“I’ll go get Nii-san!†Chrissie chimed

I nodded as Chrissie bolted out of the hanger. Cloud’s head fell as tears streamed down his face

“Why….â€

Yuffie smiled,

“I’ll get Tifa!â€

She bolted out too, leaving a cloud of dust where she once was,

Riku and Sora blinked and looked at each other before looking at me.

“What are you guys talking about?†Riku asked

I smiled at them,

“You’ll have to find out!†I said

“Aerith! Cid!†I sang

Aerith and Cid looked at me. Aerith smiled when she saw what was in my hands and Cid sighed but nodded. Kairi tilted her head,

“Hmm… Zack will like this…. ZACK!†I shouted

Zack walked into the hanger and I smiled. It was good to see his human form again, and I was happy that Vincent knew how to get him back to normal.

“You rang?†he laughed

I held out the tape to him and he smiled,

“Oh yeah! That’s awesome! Are we gonna do it?†he asked

I nodded rapidly. Kairi walked over to Riku and Sora, whispering something to them, when they shook their heads she sighed. Cloud looked at Zack,

“I still can’t believe that you agree to it….â€

Zack did a two finger salute to Cloud. Christie ran in dragging Leon and Yuffie had literally picked Tifa up and moved her into the gummy hanger. I hopped over to Leon and Tifa and showed them the tape. Leon tried to run away but Christie tripped him and sat on top of him. Tifa smiled and clapped.

“What are you guys doing?†I heard Vincent doing,

“Perfect! Everyone’s here!†I shouted

“Should we do it at the water tunnels? Like we did the first time?†Chrissie asked

I shook my head,

“Nope, I think we should do it in the market like we did the second time.â€

“The market?!†Cloud shouted,

I smiled mischievously. Everyone smiled as they walked to the market, Riku, Sora, and Kairi stared at each other and then followed. I smiled as I set the tape of the last episode of Lucky Star on the couch. Then looked through the CDs and pulled out the Lucky Star sound track before grabbing a CD player and running after the others.

This is gonna be fun.

I set the CD player on the ledge and putting the CD in, flipping it to the song and walking over to the others. Everyone in the market looked at us, motioning for others to come look. Cloud huffed as everyone got into their spots. Our row (from left to right) was Zack, me, Chris, and Cloud. Then the back row was made up of (left to right) Yuffie, Tifa, Aerith, Vincent, Cid, and Leon. Melissa and Hikaru walked up the stairs and tried to see over the large crowd, when they saw what was happening Melissa looked at me and smirked. I kind of ignored it as all the others from Destiny Islands noticed what was happening.

“Hey Riku, can you press play?†I asked

He nodded and pressed play. I smiled widely along with most of the others.

I huffed and looked at Chrissie, smiling. The whole crowd cheered and laughed. Riku Sora and Kairi smiled and cheered. Aerith smiled as Leon sighed in exhaustion and Christie jumped up. Vincent smiled at the rest of us. Zack and Cloud smiled and picked me up onto their shoulders. All I could do was laugh in excitement. Cid sighed and pushed his nose with his thumb, Yuffie jumped on Chris and Leon, and Tifa ran over to us.

After everyone was finished talking about what happened all of us went back to the gummy hanger, a few people still following us, in fact Melissa had followed us too. Tifa smiled,

“Man, that brings back a lot of memories.†She said

Everyone nodded. Cid sighed and looked at us,

“Well, at least that got everyone pumped up, although I WAS going to get Dance Dance Revolution hooked up.â€

I jumped up,

“Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!†I shouted

Everyone laughed at me and Cid hooked up the Wii to the hologram screen so that it would be big enough to see with all the people here. I smiled at Chris,

“You gotta go first.†I said

She smiled and took off her shoes before walking up to the mat. She scrolled up to ‘Too Little Too Late’ and made the difficulty ‘Difficult’

“Hey Cid, the hand markers aren’t on are they?†she asked

Cid shook his head

“Nope, neither are the land mines.†He said

Chris smiled and started the song, everyone watched as she started. I didn’t really like this song since it started out sow and then got fast. I’m not good at slow.

Once Chris was done everyone smiled. Melissa pushed her way forward as Zack was about to go. She pushed him back and stood on the mat,

“Oh Please. That song is so easy, I could do that with my eyes closed.†She bragged

I rolled my eyes, stepping forward smirking with one eye closed.

“Ok, then can you do Lips of an Angel on Basic?†I asked

I moved my foot to the down arrow and changed it to basic, then moved to the right arrow and changed the song to ‘Lips of an Angel’

“Hmph, I’ll bet I can beat this song with a 100 percent.†She said

I smiled and pressed the A button,

“Then prove it†I said

I stepped back as she stared at the screen, trying to watch the arrows. She pressed the arrows hesitantly and started to panic when she heard boo’s. I heard a couple of snickers from the others and couldn’t help but laugh a little myself when she couldn’t even get through the whole song,

“Aww, what happened to that 100% you promised me?†I taunted

She pouted

“Well if it’s so easy then let’s see you try!†she said

I blinked,

“Did you just challenge me?†I asked

A wide grin spread across my face. She looked through the crowed,

“Um, against Sora!†she said

She pointed to Sora and all I could do is laugh. Cloud stared at Melissa,

“You don’t know who Bailey is… do you.†Cloud said

Sora stepped forward as Cid set down the second mat.

“How hard could it be?†Sora asked

I looked at Cid,

“Hey Cid, did you figure out how to put my song on here?â€

He smirked and nodded

“Just scroll down.†He said

I scrolled down and found ‘Motteke!!’ and smiled widely

“Hey Sora… just know that this song isn’t exactly easy, to a cheerleading dance maybe, but this is hard… I’ve tried.†Yuffie said

Sora laughed,

“If you say it’s hard then I KNOW that it is.â€

“Ready?†I asked

When Sora nodded I pressed start. Some people had their eyes on me and Sora; others had their eyes on the screen to see the arrows.

At first Sora was just trying to get them all down. I kept getting all perfects. Riku stared at me and reeled once the girls on the screen said freeze. Everyone stared at me in surprise as I did every step perfectly. Melissa’s jaw dropped to the floor. Sora was having a lot of trouble. He was missing more then half of the arrows. Then when the girls said ‘dadadadada!’ Sora couldn’t even get it down in the least bit. I couldn’t help but laugh as I kept my eyes on the screen. When the song was finished I jumped up, laughing in delight.

“That was fun!†I shouted

Sora had fallen to the floor,

“That was haaaaard…..â€

I smiled when we got the scores and laughed at everyone’s reaction. I looked at Riku to see that he was trying to put his jaw back in place; all I could do was laugh. Zack smiled and walked up to me,

“That was awesome Bay!†he said

Melissa had tears streaming down her face as she fell over,

“Not-fair…..â€She said

I smiled and put Zack on one of the mats and pulled Cloud over,

“I wanna see you try Nii-sama!â€

He smiled nervously but got on anyways.

It was really fun to watch everyone play; I even got to see Riku dance too. I’m honestly glad that some new worlds hadn’t opened up. This might be the last time that I have fun like this with my friends. I watched as Yuffie pushed Vincent up to the dance pad and laughed silently.

“Bailey, come here, I need help.â€

I looked over to see Chris calling me over. I walked over,

“What is it?â€

Chrissie smiled,

“I was wondering if you could re-teach me that one step, you know, to Tippy Toe?â€

I shook my head rapidly.

“No, no, no, no, no!â€

Christie gave a puppy dog pout,

“Please!!! We might never get to do this again!â€

I tried not to look at her face but cracked when I saw the pout,

“Fine! But you have to do it with me!â€

She smiled and nodded. I let out a sigh and gulped. I REALLY hope that the others don’t think this is going to be weird. I stood next to Chris and she cued Yuff to play the CD. I swallowed thickly and frowned when I saw everyone moving their attention to us. And I could tell that Chris and Yuff had planned this. Once the music started I let out a big breath of air, held out my arm and bent it, turning on my heels to the left. I flipped my hand over and held it out to the crowd of people. I was glad that Christie was actually dancing with me. I jolted and did a reverse of what I just did.

I sighed in relief as the music stopped, and smiled when the others clapped. Christie and Yuffie put a hand on my shoulder and smiled with a little guiltiness in their smile.

I knew it.

I looked at Sora and the others to see Sora had fallen on his face with his legs twitching in the air, Kairi laughing while blushing a little, and Riku trying to recover from a nosebleed. I laughed. Even though I was embarrassed, I thanked Chris and Yuffie for doing that.

Everyone went back to doing a dance off and I looked at Riku and the others from Destiny Island and then looked at Cloud and Zack laughing like they had never been apart. I looked down sadly. The end of this journey was going to be rough, if not with the fighting that would seem endless, but with trying to choose with who to go back with; Sora and Kairi, who had seemed like her brother and sister from the start, along with Riku, or Cloud and the others, who were her real family that she had been with ever since she could remember…

“Hey Bailey! Get over here!â€

I was jolted from my thoughts and smiled as I ran over to the others.

When the time comes, ill worry about the big stuff, but for now, I’ll just worry about right now. Nankurunaisa… right?

Land and Sea in Harmony?

I had put a little music on the mp3 Sora gave me a while ago and sat on one of the beds in the back room with it on. I had been listening to Distance by Utada Hikaru and thinking. Everything was so odd lately, I didn’t know up from down… and something was bugging me. What really happened when I passed out? Was I really passed out? Or was it something else.

A pain came from my left arm and I clutched at it.

“What the….â€

I looked down at it and I couldn’t see anything that could’ve made it hurt like that. I sighed and looked down, going back to thinking,

After a little more thinking of everything that has happened, my eyes slowly started to close and I let myself drift to sleep. Hopefully it would be a good sleep…..

I had my eyes closed with a look of peace on my face. My arms crossed over my chest and my hair was streaming down. All I could see was that I was falling.

‘Fly baby fly’

I opened my eyes and looked up, which was actually down. I saw my necklace falling in front of me

‘Reaching the stars above’

I reached for it, hoping to grab it. It lit up as I grabbed it.

‘Touching the sky’

My hand wrapped around it and I brought it to my heart. Making it shine brighter

I brought my knees in and slowly closed my eyes again. I felt my heart fly and wings wrapped around me from my back. I smiled and opened my eyes and spun around and flew up to the sky, holding my hand out and touching the clouds.

‘Fly on the wings of love’

I’m seen smiling along with Riku, Sora, and Kairi.

‘Fly baby fly’

A five year old me is being thrown into the air and caught by Cloud. I’m laughing.

‘Reaching the stars above’

My eyes sparkle as I look at the stars in the clear night sky. Zack pointing out different stars and naming their constellations with Cloud asleep next to us.
‘Touching the sky’

I smile as I fly along a waterfall and run my hand through the falling water. My wings carrying me up to the sky just before I hit the bottom of the water. I stand in midair and hold my hands out as a feather floats into my hand. I smile and close my hands around it and it turns into a glowing white heart.

‘In the summer night’

It’s a clear night with a warm breeze blowing, making the grass sway and dance I stand eyes glittering with the reflection of stars.

‘When the moon shines bright’

The full moon shines down on Riku, Kairi, Sora, Zack, Cloud, Christie, and Leon. We all smile as we look at the sky,

‘Feeling love, Forever.’

My hand held onto a side of my hair to keep it from blowing into my face from the wind. My eyes twinkled and I smiled widely. I looked down at Riku who was sitting with an arm resting on his knee. He smiled up at me. Everyone smiled and we looked up at the sky again.

‘And the heat is on’

I sit next to Riku on the water way wall

‘When the daylight’s gone’

The sun’s setting and Riku turns my head towards his

‘Still happy, Together’

We lightly kiss.

‘There’s just one more thing I'd like to add’

Sora and Kairi appear behind us, smiling.

‘He's the greatest love I ever had’

Riku smiles at me, eyes full of love. I smile back.

‘Fly on the wings of love’

Riku and I stand back to back, fingers laced with each other. I open my eyes and look towards the sky as my necklace and his ring glow with a light.

‘Fly baby fly’

Wings suddenly grow from our backs, mine a whitish silver color, his a blackish color. We start to fall, only not down, but up.

‘Reaching the stars above’

Starts start to fly around us, a star forms between us and we both grab hold of it.

‘Touching the sky’

He starts to fly down and I fly up.

‘And as time goes by, there’s a lot to try’

I'm standing in the church, a little older with Riku at my side. He gets down on one knee, putting one hand into his vest pocket.

‘And I’m feeling lucky’

His hand reappears with a small black box in his palm. He opens it, and I gasp at the sight of a ring inside.

Smiling hand in hand
Love is all around me’

We're all standing on the beach of the Main Island, all of us holding hands. Me, Riku, Sora, and Kairi on one side, and on the other, Nii-sama, Zack, Tifa, Aerith, Leon, and Christie. All of us are smiling and the feeling of love is in the air.

‘There’s just one more thing id like to add’

I turn to Riku, smiling. He looks at me, smiling also.

‘He's the greatest love I ever had’

We lean into one another, and kiss.

‘Fly on the wings of love’

Me and Riku are close, hand in hand and our wings wrapping around each other. Not really caring that we are in midair

We release our wings and started to fly down towards the river that lays just outside of the city walls. Splashing in at the end

We sway in the water and look to the surface but stay under the water for a while.

‘Touching the sky’

I smile at Riku.

I snap when the scenery changes and music changes.

I flip around to see Kadaj and Riku locked in battle, then gasp as Loz and Yazoo team up on me, each laughing,

I growl as DoubleTeam appears in my hand and I swing at Loz while dodging shots from Yazoo.

‘Circling your, circling your, circling you head’

I flip over Loz as his weapon tries to lodge itself in my stomach

‘Contemplating everything you ever said’

I growl as promises flash through my head and everyone that I’ve encountered flashes before my eyes and I rush at Yazoo, swinging my blade at him

‘Now I see the truth I gotta doubt’

Riku and Kadaj were in a battle of swords and I was still fighting two of the triplets. I sneered at the two and reflected one of Yazoo’s bullets and kicking Loz away.

‘A different motive in your eyes
And now I’m out’

My eyes flash red and are full of hatred toward the two and I stabbed Loz. He was down and out, at least for a while

‘I’ll see you later’

I turn to Yazoo

‘I see your fantasy’

6 swings and he deflects them with his gun, trying to keep me from getting away to Riku and Kadaj

‘You wanna make it a reality paved in gold’

I throw my blade at Yazoo and then hold out my hands and cast a fira spell

‘See inside, inside of our heads, yeah’

He dodges both hits

‘Well now that’s over’

Yazoo turns and shoots me in the ankle

‘I see your motives inside’

I gasp in pain and start to fall. Riku hears me and turns while Kadaj swings his blade, slicing Riku up the chest down the middle. My eyes widen

‘Decisions to hide’

I ignore the pain and jump at Yazoo, stabbing him in the heart and taking my blade back as I run at Kadaj

‘Back off I’ll take you on’

I swing my blade at Kadaj and he knocks it away every time

‘Headstrong to take on anyone’

I sneer at him and he frowns at me. I jab my blade into his shoulder and then swing it at him

‘I know that you are wrong’

I swing three times, growling as he sucks his head and then kicks me in the stomach

‘Headstrong, we’re headstrong’

I bend over but grab his hand with one of my own, he stares at me as I bring my free hand back and throw a fira spell at him.

‘Back off I’ll take you on’

Kadaj got out of my grasp and jumped away, absorbing the fire, turning it blue from the energy around us, he laughed,

“Finally, I have you demon.â€

‘Headstrong to take on anyone’

I watch him pick up Riku and reach his hand over to him. I could feel my anger burning and my eyes turned red and my pupils become slits. I run at him to get Riku away from him,

‘I know that you are wrong’

he laughed and swung his hand to Riku’s heart, when the flame touched his chest Riku’s eyes shot open and he yelled in pain,

‘This is not where you belong’

Kadaj retracted his hand and with it came a pinkish silver orb. I felt a jab in my heart and clutched at it.

‘I can’t give everything away’

I hear a laughing and I feel like I’m ripping in half. I start to fall backwards and I see an image of myself with a glare in my red eyes, my hair was turned long and silver and wolf ears rest on my head, a long wolf tail flicks in the wind, my teeth are now fangs and my nails claws.

‘I won’t give everything away’

I hit the ground and my eyes look over the dead Riku, his ring had been removed and the gem shattered on the ground, tears stream down my face. When I look at Kadaj I see the other version of me standing next to him, laughing.

I gasp and sit up quickly, breathing hard.

‘Conclusions manifest’

I blink and pull my headphones out of my ears and look at them,

“Note to self: falling asleep plus music equals weird dreams…†I said

I stand up just to get knocked down again and see a red light flashing. I wobbled to the controls room,

“Riku, what’s going on?†I asked

Riku was trying to keep the ship from being blown to bits,

“We’re being attacked by a heartless ship! I don’t know this design so I don’t know how to evade enemy fire.â€

I took the controls, getting another sharp pain in my arm. I tried to ignore as I tried to get my thoughts into place.

“Riku, take the guns. Try and keep them off our backs.â€

Riku nodded and took one of the gun controls. I gritted my teeth, a bit because of this thing annoying me, but mostly because the pain wouldn’t go away,

“Where are you?...â€

My eyes widened when I saw a giant heartless ship, I had heard of it before, but never really knew what it looked like…

“Hunter X….â€

Riku looked at it and started to shoot at it. Once it started to fire circular energy hits, I had to tell Riku to strap in and did so myself. I knew that those wouldn’t be the only hits it would try to make and moved around them. It started sending energy blasts out and I sneered, this wouldn’t be fun. I maneuvered around the blasts, but that made the ship do a barrel roll. I had to do these a few times and it made me sick. Riku tied to hit the ship and deflected a few hits of normal fire. I looked over the ship and narrowed my eyes.

“This thing is impossible to fight,â€

I was finally able to get around it, with our ship in shambles, I was surprised our stock was still in good condition, and I was dreading calling Cid to repair our ship. We were finally able to get to Atlantica and I was thankful that our ship still had enough power to send us down. If Sora isn’t here, I swear I’m going to pull out my hair.

Once we came down I was surprised to see sand beneath our feet and the ocean breeze on my face, it reminded me so much of Destiny islands. And I saw in Riku’s eyes a sadness that I hadn’t seen. I sighed and we started down the beach along a wall of rock. When we rounded the corner I blinked when I saw a big wall.

“Sheesh, guess they don’t like their neighbors.â€

Riku laughed a little. I blinked when I saw a black haired girl talking to someone. She heard us coming and looked up quickly before standing up and taking a step back.

“Don’t worry, we aren’t going to hurt you, we’re just looking for a friend of ours.†I said

She blinked and shrugged and looked at us,

“Maybe I could help. I’m Melody.â€

I love that name!

“Hey, I’m Bailey, and this is Riku.â€

She smiled,

“Hey, you wanna look for seashells with me?â€

“Oh no! You need to get back in dere, haven’t you forgotten, eet’s your 12th birthday! And if your mother goes to find you, and doesn’t find you, then it’s going to be hectic!â€

I blinked and looked around, when I didn’t see anyone I looked down and saw only a crab, Melody rolled her eyes,

“Oh Sebastian. I’ll go back before the party. Don’t be such a worry crab.â€

The crab crossed his arms,

“Humph, don’t blame me when you get in trouble.†The grab said

“GAH!†I shouted in surprise

I fell backwards with wide eyes, staring in shock at the crab,

“That- that- that crab just talked!â€

Riku was surprised too, but his was just a blank stare. Melody looked at us, she looked like she wanted to giggle, but also that she wanted to scream in surprise.

“You can understand him?â€

Riku and I blinked and nodded, she smiled,

“Finally someone else that can! Everyone at home thinks I’m… weird because I talk to fish….†Melody said

I shook off my look and so did Riku, we looked at Melody and smiled,

“So… you wanted to look for shells?â€

Melody smiled. Sebastian the crab humphed and watched Melody like a hawk. It was nice to feel the ocean water, and I could tell that Riku would agree. While Melody and I swam over a trench we saw a golden glint. We looked at each other and she went down, I had to go back up to the surface fast before my lungs burst,

“Gah! I can’t hold my breath as long as her!

Riku laughed,

Hmm, it may be possible that we won’t have to fight here,

“Oh! Trust me! This time I’m sure I got it.†A very skinny, very ugly half octopus half woman chimed,

A small shark like fish rolled his eyes at the ‘woman’ lingering over a caldron.

“Eh, that’s what you said last time….†It said.

It swam over to a ledge awaiting the woman’s spell.

“And I was sore for a week.â€

The woman rolled her eyes and held out her hands in a sort of ‘TV screen’ pose, closing one eye and looking at the shark

“Oh stop your carping and stand still.†She said

“Oh, this is gonna hurt,†the shark said

The woman swam up and twirled, making green ‘smoke’ rise from the caldron. She spread her arms out, turning the green smoke into green lightning. The lightning shot up and started heading to the wide eyes huge frowned shark. Once it hit him he started to grow big, making the woman cheer yes. She tightened her fists and held them up. The shark froze with a sort of hesitant expression.

“Uh oh.†The shark said

The shark shrunk and the lightning flashed out, showing him to have turned into a shrimp. He looked down at himself and sighed as his little fins fell and his eyes narrowed. The woman looked at the shrimp turned shark and blinked. She growled and put her arms to her side, looking at a shelf full of bottles with different creatures inside them. She grabbed a green puff one and threw it into the cauldron. The green lightning flew towards him again and flashed again till he turned into a slug. His jaw dropped and the woman slapped her palm to her face. Her tentacles flew over and grabbed different bottles and threw them all into the caldron making the poor ‘shark’ turn into different mutant creatures, and finally back to his tiny shark self. Two manta rays snickered at the steamed shark. The woman put her fingers on her temples then clasped them over her face

“Oh, it’s just no use. The power of the trident is just too strong for me to overcome.†She cried

She lay on her chair and stared ahead. The shark looked at her and rolled his eyes,

“I bet Ursula could’ a done it.†He muttered

The woman sat up straight.

“What was that, you said?â€

“nothin’, I’m just sayin’†the shark said

His eyes went wide and he dodged the flying bottle that the woman had thrown at him. She clenched her fists

“Stop, criticizing me! That’s all my mother ever did was criticize Me.†she shouted

She swam over to a stand with a jar of starfish along with various bottles. She lifted the lid and pulled out a nervous star.

“It was always ‘Ursula this’, and ‘Ursula that’, or ‘Morgana why can’t you be more like your sister Ursula!’†she shouted

She threw the starfish at a picture of another, heftier woman that already had a few other starfish pinned to it. The shark swam up

“Well it isn’t Ursula’s fault I got miniaturized, it’s yours!â€

He pointed a fin at Morgana and she glared at him

“Is not!â€

“Your fault that we had to hide out here for 12 frost bitten years!â€

“Is not!†she shouted

“Your fault that we can never show our faces in polite society again!†he shouted

Morgana put her face to his

“You’re really pushing it small fry.†She hissed through her teeth

A green glow made them both forget about their argument and look towards the cauldron. A green puff of smoke formed from inside the cauldron and came up forming a sphere. With the picture of Melody, Sebastian, a girl, and a boy. Morgana smiled and swam over to the picture with the shark by her side. The picture showed Melody holding up a golden shell and looking at its shine under the wet sand. Morgana and the shark gasped and looked at each other with wide grins

“It’s the locket!†they chimed together

Morgana smiled and laughed while bringing her arms in close to her,

“This is just the kind of break in the ice we’ve been waiting for,†she said

She looked at the shark

“When Ariel’s innocent little daughter uncovers the secret of that locket, she’s going to have lots of questions~!â€

She put her face next to the sharks, both of them a wide grin

“And who will be there with ALL the answers?â€

The shark chuckled.

“We will.†He said

Morgana swam over him,

“Exactly!â€

She swam up and tightened a fist as if in triumph.

“She’ll be the perfect tool for Triton’s undoing! And if her friends follow along,†she laughed “they’ll be suckered in along with her~! That silver haired boy and the hazel eyed girl-â€

Morgana froze and swam down. Looking over the boy and girl with Melody. She stared at the boy for a moment, looking at his hair, eyes, and face. Then looked at the girl and got a wide mischievous grin. She ‘jumped’ up and giggled.

“Oh this is just too delicious! I’ve heard reports of them but I didn’t know that it was true!†she chimed

The shark blinked,

“What?â€

“It’s Dawn and the Protector of the legend of time! Dawn has a demon that if controlled, the person who controls it can have whatever they desire! And since the Protector is with her, he will do anything to protect her until the day he gives his life for her!â€

The shark smiled widely,

“Not only will we be able to get the trident,â€

“We will be able to rule the sea and the universe!†Morgana shouted

“And I’ll get to be big again.†the shark said

“Finally, I’ll be able to succeed at the one thing my sister could and surpass her!â€

“Really, really big again!â€

Morgana swam over to the shark and grabbed his fins,

“Total domination!†she chimed

She swung him around and they started to dance and laugh.

Sebastian shrunk in himself,

“Melody, please! If your mother ever found out you’d been swimming out here-â€

“I know, I know. She’d flip!†Melody said and jumped off the rock and dove into the water. Once she surfaced she swam on her back. I watched her, confused

“Melody, what’s your mom got against the sea anyways? How can you see anything wrong with something so-… wonderful?â€

Melody looked to Sebastian and he shrugged, once he did, so did she. She giggled and swam over to me,

“You know what? some times when I’m out here, I pretend I have: fins!â€

Once Sebastian heard this he fell over. Melody swam over to a rock and rested her head on it and sighed.

“Oh… I wish I could tell my mom how I feel… but- she’d never understand… I can talk to crabs but- not to her…†she sighed

I smiled a little,

“Melody, just try to tell her, she might understand.â€

Sebastian slapped his claws to his face,

“Oh yes, by all means, just waltz right in dere and tell her that you’ve been- swimming in de ocean!†he cried

I laughed a little,

“We could all just have a big party…â€

Melody jolted and gasped,

“The party!â€

Riku and I blinked as Melody swam over to the wall,

“If I’m late for my own birthday party mom would surly find out that I’ve been out here! Bailey, Riku, come on!â€

Riku and I looked at each other and he swam over to Melody. I went to go swim after her but my arm screamed at me when I moved it quickly, what the heck was up with my arm? I sighed and swam over to them. She held her breath and went under water, we followed suit and followed her to see her pull up a bar and push us through. Sebastian crawled after us and Melody swam in, replacing the bar. We swam in and Melody removed another bar and we crawled through. She sighed and smiled at us and us at her. We heard a barking and sank down in the water. When a dog and a woman came by the water we swam away to a window. Once I heard a familiar voice I went to look back but Melody grabbed me and threw her bag up to the ledge of the window before crawling onto it herself. I picked up Sebastian and climbed up myself. Riku up and looked at me and Melody. Melody told us to stay still when someone was coming. Once he passed she sighed in relief and told us to follow her. We did and she looked around a corner before backing into another girl.

“Oh, y-your highness.†She said

I looked at her and the two other boys with her, to me they didn’t seem like they adored her. Melody hid the bag behind her.

“Sorry, my fault.†Melody said

The girl picked up a piece of seaweed that Melody had accidentally got on her and threw it on the ground. Melody walked around them and told us to follow her.

“I gotta go… can’t go to the party without shoes….†She said

the kids looked at me and Riku an then t Melody, once we rounded the corner Melody and Riku went on ahead but when I heard them talking I stopped, eyes narrowed.

“If you ask me, she’s a little strange.†The girl said,

“I heard she actually talks to fish!†one of the boys said.

“And did you see her new friends? Their clothes are absolutely odd. I could swear I saw a crab on that girl’s shoulder.†The other boy said

I looked at Sebastian when I heard laughing and he frowned at me. I ran back to Riku and Melody and we went up to her room. She opened her closet door and picked out a pink dress and put her hair up in a towel before looking at us. I told Riku to turn around and his eyes went up as he turned around

A red haired woman walked over to the water as the dog splashed around in it. Sora looked at his old friend and Kairi walked into the water and pet the dog. The dog sniffed around the water and lifted part of his fluffy fur to look at the woman and then barked at Kairi and splashed around her. The woman smiled at the dog and put a hand on the wall. Once she heard seagulls calling she looked up and breathed in, looking at the orange sky above.

“I miss you daddy… I wish you could be here with us….†she said sadly

Sora put an arm on the older woman’s shoulder and she smiled a little down at him.

“It’s been fourteen years since I’ve seen you Sora; it’s nice to have you around again.†She said,

“And yet it’s only been 1 year for me Ariel.†He said

She laughed a little and nodded then sighed. She looked around for any of the people from the castle and then lifted her dress as she took off her shoes. She walked into the water and sighed, letting the water be her memories.

“Mother?â€

Ariel gasped and looked around then up to see her daughter with a towel and wearing her dress.

“What are you doing?†she asked

Ariel got nervous, Sora looked up and his eyes widened when he saw a girl walk by behind Melody.

“Uh, nothing!†Ariel said

Melody sighed and smiled at me and Riku,

“I’ll be right up!†I heard the woman say.

Melody gasped and looked at us, she ran and got her shoes, Sebastian held up her tie and Melody grabbed it, wrapping it around herself without realizing Sebastian was in the bow. I went to say something but heard footsteps.

“Melody?â€

Melody grabbed her crown and put it on her head and she looked at the bag of shells, she kicked it under then bed and looked at us. Riku and I went to hide but the door opened before we could. Melody curtsied and smiled

“I’m ready!†she said

The crown fell on her wet hair and she lifted it up, looking at us and laughing nervously

The woman looked at us and smiled a little before walking over to Melody and having her sit down,

“Here, let me help.â€

The door opened once again and I saw a man looking at Melody,

“So, we’re having a bad hair day,†he said

“If we were, you wouldn’t be helping, would you?†the woman said

“Well I’m just here to let you know, there are a lot of people downstairs,â€

“Oh, we’ll be right down. Give us two minutes†She said

My eyes narrowed when I heard whispering and a laugh. The man looked to his left and sighed,

“Alright Ariel†he said

He looked at Ariel and then us before closing the door. Ariel brushed her daughter’s hair and I saw Sebastian blink; I had to hold in a laugh. Melody looked down

“Mom, put down the brush. It’s hopeless….†Melody said

I frowned. Ariel sighed and put down the brush, then put her head next to Melody’s and looked in the mirror.

“Oh, you look beautiful.â€

I smiled slightly. Melody looked up, still frowning. Ariel started to pull back Melody’s hair and put it in a ponytail

“Do I have to do this? Everybody thinks I’m… weird.†Melody said,

I looked down, thinking about those bratty kids that made fun of Melody. Ariel finished putting up Melody’s hair and sighed, putting her hands on her daughter’s shoulders,

“Oh, honey, everyone has trouble fitting in at your age, I’m sure your friends here did.â€

We nodded

“I know I did… I was a regular fish out of water….†Ariel said

I blinked. Melody frowned

“You? No way.†Melody said

She walked to her balcony and Ariel looked at her and then us. She sighed and walked over to her,

“I’m just- so afraid I’m gonna make a total fool of myself.†Melody said

She looked at the ocean outside. Ariel frowned. Riku and I walked out, I sat on the balcony and Riku leaned against the opposite side as me. Ariel walked over

“Melody? This isn’t just about the party is it?†she asked

She put a hand on Melody’s shoulder,

“Is there something you want to talk about? You know you can always tell me anything.â€

Melody looked at me, question in her eyes. I nodded with a smile.

“Well… ok. I mean it’s- kinda crazy, and sorta impossible. Now don’t freak, but what I dream about, more then anything in the whole world-â€

We heard a knock and looked at the door to see the man from earlier. Way to spoil a moment.

“How’s it comin?†he asked

He smiled down at Melody

“Oh Melody, is that you? You look beautifulâ€

Ariel laughed and I smiled at Riku, Riku smiled back and then looked at the others

“He’s right. Oh, we’ll talk later; you’re going to have a wonderful time tonight.†Ariel said

She looked at us,

“Now let’s see if we might be able to get your friends some proper clothes.â€

I gulped and I know that a big sweat drop shown on the back of mine and Riku’s heads

Music started playing in the ballroom and my eyes widened at the sight of how big it was. At the same time I was blushing a little because I hated to wear these types of dresses. Riku and I looked at each other and blushed a bit more at the sight of each other. I was just happy that I had learned how to dance, and Riku was the one to teach me back on the islands. We started to dance along with other people in the room, a mixture of Adults and children chattering. Once the music stopped everyone clapped. I closed one of my eyes ad frowned when the pain came back. Riku opened his mouth to ask me what was wrong but another man at the front of the room spoke up,

“May I present: her royal highness, princess Melody.†A man said

Everyone clapped once Melody started waling down the staircase. I looked over and saw the three kids from before and glared at them when they smirked, just waiting for her to mess up. I looked back up at Melody and saw her muttering to herself. She came down to the floor and a boy walked up to her and bowed. He said something and she looked up at her parents. Once they nodded and told her to go on, she nodded. They came together as music started; everyone formed a circle around the ballroom. I crossed my fingers behind my back and watched as they danced. Everyone watched with a smile; except for the three. The adults watched the young princess in adoration and the kids watched in awe. So far so good. I looked behind Melody to see Sebastian had gotten a claw untied. I gulped as they came together and he put his hand on her back near the frustrated crab. His face showed pain and he yelped, Melody bit her lip as he brought up his hand and stared wide eyed at the crab, he screamed and flailed his arm around, everyone gasped and the music stopped. The boy’s flailing making the crab fly through the air and into Melody’s birthday cake. I gulped as the boy fell into the punch bowl. Everything started to go wrong, the kids from earlier smirked as some of the cake flew at Melody. The chef blinked and I saw Sebastian rise from the mess with a candle on his head. Melody ran over to the table and looked at Sebastian

“Oh no...â€

Sebastian wiped the cake off himself,

“That’s it; I’m putting myself on a cruise.†He said

He blew up and the candle went out.

“I’m so sorry…†Melody said

The boy who was now soaking wet frowned and flicked water off his sleeves and turned around

“Well I should say-â€

“Are you ok Sebastian?†Melody asked

The boy’s eyes narrowed

“so.†He finished his sentence

“Who is she talking to?!†the girl from earlier said

One of the boys laughed,

“She’s talking to a crab!â€

I glared at him,

“Aw, man, this isn’t good.†I heard

I froze and looked around to get a glimpse of brunette hair then was forced to turn back to melody when I heard all the kids laughing. The chef wiped off cake from his face and gasped when he saw Sebastian

“You!â€

Sebastian looked up and gasped

“You!â€

The chef took out his clever and jumped up,

“Sabotage!†he shouted

Sebastian screamed and ran away as the chef pounded the knife into the table where the crab once was. More and more people start to laugh as the rouge chef went after the crab. Sebastian ran down the table with food and looked back,

“No Louis! You don’t wanna do dis man! I’m old! I’m not tender anymore!†he shouted

He jumped onto a salad bowl and tried to hide under a leaf but Louis caught up to him and just before he sent his knife after the poor crab Sebastian jumped off. Melody picked herself up and frowned as everyone laughed. Sebastian looked around and screamed when he saw Louis. The angry chef tried to grab Sebastian but just caused the plate he was on to fly through the air. The maestro ducked when the plate flew towards him and his fake hair got carried off with the flying plate. Melody gasped and looked around at everyone laughing. I ran forward towards her, Ariel and Melody’s father gasped. I grabbed Melody as she put her hands on her eyes and I turned her around, pushing her to the stairs. Riku growled at the other people and ran after us, Ariel reached out for her daughter,

“Melody-â€

I shook my head and rushed Melody up the stairs.

“Bailey! Riku!†I heard a faint call.

I had to ignore the call to get Melody out of here.

Melody, Riku, and I had gotten back into our normal clothes. Her dress and mine laying on a chair and Riku’s suit on another. I sat next to Melody on her bed as she cried silently into her pillow.

“Melody….â€

She rubbed the tears from her eyes but they continued to fall, she looked at her shell bag and picked up the golden charm. She sat up and caressed it. I frowned and put a hand on her knee. Ariel walked in and I looked up at her. Understanding I stood up and walked over to Riku’s side. She sat next to Melody and lifted her chin

“Oh sweat heart, I’m so sorry.†She said quietly

Melody sniffed.

“What’s wrong with me?â€

“Nothing is wrong with you Melody.†I said

“She’s right.†Ariel said

“No she isn’t, I’m the princess of disaster!†Melody said

Ariel huffed, making a strand of hair blow out of her face.

“Being a teenager is hard, and uh,â€

Melody looked sadly at the necklace and started to wipe away the dirt

“All kids your age feel… awkward and uh-â€

Melody sniffed and I stared at the words written on the necklace

“Melody?†I asked

Melody wiped away her remaining tears and squinted her eyes, Ariel froze

“What is this? My names on it!†she said

She opened the locket and everyone stared at the orb that shone up, I walked over and looked at it, music playing like a music box, inside the orb was a castle with merpeople swimming around

“That song…. Where have I heard it?†she said

I stared at it,

“It’s Atlantica. With merpeople and everything! Mother, you always said it was an old fish tail!†Melody said

Ariel reached for the locket and grabbed it, closing it as she looked at it,

“Where did you get this?â€

Melody grabbed her feet and rocked back and forth, I bit my lip.

“Um, w-we found it….â€

Ariel glared at Melody and then shot that look to us,

“You went over the wall didn’t you,†she said

I heard footsteps. Melody looked down

“Actually, I went under it… I hate that stupid wall!â€

“Melody, you KNOW you’re not aloud in the sea†Ariel said

“But why? And why does that locket have my name on it,†Melody asked

Melody stood on her bed and looked at her mother who was getting angry.

“Melody, listen to me,†she said

This was getting a little out of hand, and now the pain was coming back to my arm,

“You’re hiding something from me†Melody said suspiciously

Ariel froze and stared wide eyed at her daughter. She managed to gather herself again, along with the anger

“Y-You deliberately disobeyed me. I never want you going out there again, do you here me?! It’s dangerous in the sea!â€

Ariel whirled on us, ignoring the fact that her daughter was going to speak.

“And you. You will be banished from this castle if you even dare to go outside of the wall and bring my daughter with you.â€

I ignored the door opening and growled, clenching my fists. I didn’t care if this wasn’t my business before, but now she crossed the line. And the fact that the pain in my arm was getting worse did not help

“If you are selfish enough to keep your daughter from something she loves so much then you aren’t a very good parent, I’m sure your parent never did this to you!†I shouted

Ariel froze and stared at me, I glared back.

“y-you have crossed the line! You must leave.â€

“Leave my friends alone mom! They didn’t do anything!â€

“Melody, I want you to stay out of the sea and behind the wall. I told you, it’s dangerous!â€

“How would you know?! You’ve never even been in it!â€

She jumped off her bed, snatched the necklace from her mother, and ran out the open door. I glared at Ariel and turned around to leave, seeing Sora and Kairi wide eyed. I looked away and ran after Melody,

“Melody!â€

Riku looked at Sora and Kairi, wanting to stay with his friends, but it was his job to protect Dawn. He ran after Bailey and Melody, passing Eric. He looked after the three and then looked at Sora, Kairi, and Ariel. Ariel fell on the bed,

“Oh no….â€

“Ariel, darling, we knew this day would come.†He said

Sora sighed and leaned against the wall. Kairi sat down in a chair.

“Oh Eric, you’re right. Maybe it’s time I trusted her with the truth.†Ariel said

Sora looked at his old friend.

Melody paced the beach; I looked at her as I leaned against the wall. Riku sat on the sand next to the rock Sebastian was standing on.

“Oh, now child. It’s gonna be ok. You know, when I was a teenager, you couldn’t get me outa my shell fur nutton.†He said

I smacked my hand to my face. Great. The crab is rambling about his life….

“I had this high squeaky voice, and these itty bitty little pinchers. And then one day, BOOM!â€

I looked at Melody to see her trying to get a boat from the beach into the water and I walked over to help her.

“I sound like a woozle. And these whoppers pop out!†he said

Sebastian finally noticed what we were doing,

“Young lady, just where do you think you’re going?!â€

“I’ve gotta figure this out, but not just me, Bailey and Riku are coming too.†Melody said

I nodded and Riku stood up as we got it into the water. I held it there to keep it floating away and Riku and Melody hopped in. I looked at Sebastian then got in myself. Sebastian tried to hop in but had a little trouble

“This necklace means something… and if no ones gonna tell me, I’m gonna find out for myself.†Melody said

She grabbed the ores and started to row, kicking Sebastian off. I watched him splash in the water and looked at Melody.

“Melody please!-â€

“You’re making a big mistake!â€

Morgana laughed

“Oh this is delicious. This is divine!â€

The shark smirked and waved a fin,

“Let’s go flatsos!†he said

The two mantas swam after him as he swam out the exit. Morgana smiled and waved him off,

“Hurry Undertow! There’s a little girl out there who needs our help. And don’t forget that we need her friends~!â€

Undertow smiled and lead the two mantas.

Sebastian swam under the bars that lead into the castle.

“All right Sebastian, you must remain calm. This is not your fault.†He said

He crawled over a rock and onto the grass.

“All you have to do is go in dere, and calmly explain that Melody has run away. No reason to lose your head.â€

Ariel, Sora, Kairi, and Eric walked out of the door, looking around

“What ever you do, you absotively, posolutely must stay calm.â€

“Melody?†Ariel called

Sebastian lost his head

“Aahhh! Melody’s gone! Melody’s gone!†he cried

He ran to Ariel in a panic,

“Sebastian? What are you doing here?†Ariel asked

“It’s all my fault! I tried to stop herâ€

Sebastian grabbed Ariel’s dress and Sora looked down at him

“I don’t deserve to live!†Sebastian sobbed

He sobbed into her dress. Ariel frowned

“Gone? Gone where?†Sora asked

Sebastian pointed a claw at the wall,

“Out, out, to de sea†he cried

He breathed in and blew his ‘nose’ into her dress. Kairi looked at Ariel

“Bailey and Riku went with her†Sebastian cried

“Well, where could they be going?†Kairi asked

“To Morgana’s†Undertow said

Melody smiled down at the little shark,

“And she can tell me what this locket means? Why it has my name on it?†she asked

“Oh ho, sure kid! In fact, she can answer all of your questions! Morgana’s the best.â€

Melody looked at her locket and clutched it tightly,

“Ok. Then… let’s go!†she said

I looked at the boat and saw two manta rays tie their tails around the rope of the boat and start pulling it south. Melody looked back in the direction of her home and sighed sadly.

It took about 3 hours to get to the place that Undertow wanted to take us. Melody had fallen asleep with a blanket around her, and Riku and I sat next to each other for body warmth. I shook melody awake when an iceberg passed us. She sat up and looked around. She clutched at her blanket when she saw a cave in an iceberg. She stared at the ‘ceiling’ as it went over our heads. I looked ahead.

“Angel face, Honey, big guy, meet the one and only: Morgana.†Undertow said

We looked up to see a giant shell/chair at a deskish thing with a lot of mirrors. The shell turned around to show a half octopus half woman. Her eyes lit up and she smiled

“Oh! Welcome dears!†she said

She stood up as we started to get out of the boat, she helped Melody out

“Oh don’t be shy, come in! Come in, out of the cold.†she said

Riku and I got out of the boat and looked around as Morgana lead Melody to the chair. ‘Out of the cold?...’ she sat on one end of her chair, motioning for Melody to sit,

“Sit, sit!†she said

She moved an ice block to underneath Melody’s feet

“Why don’t you put your feet up,†she said

All three of us looked at her

“Hungry? I’m afraid all I have is a cold plate.†She said

I just about lost my appetite for good at all of the disgusting things on the plate. One of the things moved and Morgana grabbed another thing of food and whacked it to make it stop. Riku and Melody were grossed out as well.

“Smeltsicle? Kelpchips? Hush guppy?†she asked

I shook my head, Riku waved his hands

“Uh, no thank you.†Melody said

Morgana put the plate back on the ‘table’ and looked at Melody.

“I was hoping you could tell me about this pendant…. Why it has my name on it… my-… mother wouldn’t tell me… she just doesn’t understandâ€

One of Morgana’s tentacles wrapped around Melody’s shoulder, her hand stroked Melody’s hair

“Oh, you’re not the only one with a mother who doesn’t understand you, believe me; I know just how you feel.†Morgana said

She looked at the locket and held it in her hands,

“Dear child, did you ever consider that it has your name ON it, because it has your destiny IN it?†she asked

She opened the locket and I looked at her, already getting what she meant

“Oh, deep down, you know you weren’t meant to be a lowly human. What you are, is something far more enchanting.†She said

Melody got starry eyes

“A mermaid?... but it’s not possible…†Melody said

Morgana smiled,

“Darling, anything’s possible!†she said

Melody looked at Morgana

“You can turn me into a mermaid?†she asked

Morgana snapped the locket shut

“Piece of fish cake sweaty. As long as your friends agreeâ€

Riku shrugged and I nodded,

“Sounds fun!â€

I heard Undertow mutter something and saw him roll his eyes. Morgana ‘walked’ over to a shelf and moved a few bottles before pulling out a purple crystal bottle. She blew the dust off of it and Undertow gasped,

“Ursula’s magic! Where did you get that?!†he hissed

Morgana frowned at her miniaturized friend

“I’ve been saving it, for a special occasion.†She said

She laughed and sat back down next to Melody, motioning for us to come over. Riku and I walked over

“One drop of this and botta bing botta boom, you’re in fin city weeee!†she said

“Really?!†Melody chimed

I blinked

“Come my darling, with your friends with you, you will embrace your destiny.†Morgana said

She took off the top of the bottle and tipped it while holing it over one of Melody’s feet. One drop fell and turned into a snowflake, floating down to Melody’s feet and disappearing into her skin, Morgana quickly shook the bottle, making two drops fly over to Riku and me and hit both of our legs. She slowly put the top back on the bottle and started to laugh as a wind swirled around our bodies. Melody gasped as her feet started to connect together and turned into a red mermaid tail, her top still on her body. My legs were replaced with a silver tiger shark tail and I sighed, thankful that the spell didn’t get rid of my shirt, although my vest went missing. I looked to Riku to see that he had gained a blue and blood red beta fish tail, somehow his vest had disappeared too. Melody smiled at her fins and grabbed the bottoms of them.

“I don’t believe it! I’m a mermaid.†She said

She wiggled her fins and Morgana threw up her arms

“Say it loud! Say it proud!†she said

Melody smiled and jumped into the water, swimming a circle around Undertow and then disappearing under water. Once she flipped around once she jumped high out of the water with her arms spread wide

“I’M A MERMAID!†Melody shouted

I smiled at Riku and we both dove in after Melody. It was a little odd, but we managed to keep up with Melody, just a little. Morgana and Undertow talked to each other and Morgana walked into the water and sunk in

The sky was very dark and Ariel, Eric, Sora, and Kairi were on a boat. Triton looked up at his daughter and her friends and husband,

“Oh daddy, I’m so worried.†Ariel said

“Everything’s going to be alright Ariel; we have search parties scouring the ocean. I’m going to join them now myself†Triton said

Ariel hugged Eric, Sora crossed his arms. Kairi looked at Triton,

“Is there anything we can do?â€

Sora looked at Ariel,

“Maybe we should go with Triton.â€

Ariel stared at Sora and Eric nodded in agreement,

“He’s right.†He said

“But Eric-“

“I need to stay here and lead the search on land. But you and Sora know these waters, and you know our daughter. You have to goâ€

Triton frowned and looked at his daughter,

“It might be dangerous.â€

Ariel looked at Eric then at her father,

“Eric and Sora are right daddy, I should’ve known I couldn’t keep her away from the sea, it’s a part of her…. And a part of me… I have to go.â€

Triton gave an understanding smile and he lit up his trident. Ariel gave once last hug to Eric and he hugged her tightly

“Bring her back.†He said

Ariel nodded and Kairi, Sora, and she stepped up onto the rail. Triton pointed his trident at the three and Kairi got nervous. Sora’s reassuring smile made her settle down and the light from the trident shot towards them. Ariel’s hair started to unwrap from its bun and flowed down, her dress disappearing and being replaced with purple shells and her legs started to be replaced with a greenish mermaid fin. Sora smiled as his shirt disappeared and his legs were replaced with a dolphin tail. Kairi’s eyes went wide as her legs turned into a pinkish angelfish tail and her dress shortened into a sort of shirt. Once they all transformed they dove in

Melody, Riku, and I splashed in the arctic water. Melody smiled

“What a totally cool feeling.†Melody giggled

She giggled and flipped in the water. I twirled around and smiled widely,

“You can move so freely in the water, it’s so cool.†I said

Riku smiled at me and spun with me,

“I liked the ocean before, but this puts a whole new spin on it.â€

Melody swam on her back above the water. Riku and I surfaced just in time to see Melody smack into a sheet of ice that a mother seal was on, she looked back and Melody smiled in apology

“Oops, excuse me, I’m so sorry ma’am,†she apologized

She swam over to the middle of us and tightened her fists, holding them up. We separated as three baby seals popped up and peeked over their mother to look over at us.

“Ok, get a grip, get the hang of this flipper†she sang

She jumped backwards and put her fin up, looking at it in determination. I smiled and nodded,

“It’s like slipping two feet into one big huge slipper†she sang

I sighed and swam left,

“This way is left,†I sang

Then I swam backwards a little to the right and shrugged my shoulders, looking up

“Which way is right,†I sang

I sighed and Riku and I swam around the small sheet of ice that the three infant seals were on

“Well now we’ll be circling in circles all night.†We sang

I spun off and Riku swam forwards towards me and Melody

“Oh, so this way is forward, no problem.†He said

We dove underwater and Melody smiled, flipping and twirling around happily,

“I can’t believe we can do this and more,†she sang

She swam over to the sand underwater and put her fins on the sand and started to ‘walk’ with them

‘To swim in the sea, like we walk on the shore,†she sang

She stopped in front of a giant clam that had its mouth open and when she got a little near it its mouth snapped shut,

“Out of our shells, not closed up like a clam,â€

She flipped around and looked up to the top of the ocean; we all swam up to the surface.

“God see, this is we, here we are!â€

She jumped out of the water and through a hole in an iceberg, as we jumped over the iceberg around it. Melody swam down and Riku and I swam in a circle around her,

“For a moment, all of me, is alive and at home in the seaâ€

Melody grabbed me and started to spin with me,

“I’m swirling and twirling so graceful and grand, not stubbing my toes, getting stuck in the sand,â€

We threw out our arms and I swam up to the top of the water and jumped up and then back in and down

“For a moment, life is cool,†I sang

I came to rock tunnel and I stopped before it, swinging out my arms

“We’re splashing in the world’s biggest pool,â€

I swam through the tunnel to meet Melody and Riku on the other side along with a tunnel of silver fish. I took Melody and Riku’s hands and spun around,

“This is more then my thoughts, ever thought it could be, for a moment, just a moment,â€

Melody swam up, leading Riku and I through the tunnel of fish,

“Lucky we,†I sang

Melody giggled

Ariel swam down to one of her shelves and picked up a pipe, Kairi swam down next to her and put a hand on her shoulder,

“If only for one moment,†Kairi sang

Ariel looked at Kairi and Kairi looked at her,

“You had shared with her all you know,â€

Sora swam down and took the pipe from her and gently set it down

“The sea wouldn’t be a mystery,†he sang

Ariel put her hands to her heart and she looked up through the hole in the rock above,

“But why did she have to go?†she sang

I laughed as I slid down an iceberg and splashed in the water, the three baby seals sliding in after me, Melody and Riku smiled as some of the water splashed them,

“Everything’s newer and brighter and bluer†Melody sang

Both of them dove in after me

She spun around and spread her arms wide

“And truer to life then before!â€

She grabbed my hand and spread her other arm out like she was flying, I did the same thing and smiled. Riku swam after us as we swam fast under a whale,

“Watch us soar!â€

Ariel swam through an arc made from a rock and Sora swam after, Kairi twirling after

“Get a grin at a fin that works fine,â€

I swam next to the whale, his eye looking at me. Riku and Melody swam up and swam backwards next to me, looking at me, I brought up my hands, looking at how wrinkly they got

“My fingers are wrinkly, I really don’t care-â€

I twirled up and put my hands on my head, lying on the whale’s back,

“If all of my curls have curled out of my hairâ€

Melody and Riku swam up and got on the whale, Melody lay on the whale on her stomach, Riku sitting behind me and Melody.

“For a moment, I can feel,†she sang

The whale came up to the surface and Melody flicked the water out of her face, along with me and Riku

“All the dreams I’ve been dreaming are real!â€

Riku looked towards the back of the whale,

“Wish decisions never made you feel wrong,†he sang

I sat up

“Wish worrying didn’t exist at all†I sang

“Wish my mother could hear it, the sea is my song. For a moment, just a moment, I belong,â€

Ariel swam down to a rock with undersea flowers and picked one, Sora swam down and sat down on the rock,

“We will find you Melody,†he sang

“And the moment that we do,†Kairi sang

Kairi swam down and pet the flower’s petals,

Ariel brought the flower close to her,

“I’ll hold you close, my Melody,â€

She swam up, bringing Sora and Kairi with her,

“And sing the song of the sea,†they sang

“With you,†Ariel sang

Melody and I sat back to back, holding hands, Riku looking up at the sky,

“For a moment, just a momentâ€

Melody twirled around in the water and hugged Morgana, giving her a surprised face

“Oh thank you so much†Melody said

I looked at Morgana and saw that she started to ‘cry’ I frowned

“What’s wrong?†Melody asked

She let go of Morgana and she threw up her now freed arm to her forehead. Riku crossed his arms and we looked at each other and then back. I was glad that Riku had looked away because my arm started acting up again.

“Oh I knew this would happen, one taste and you’re hooked,†Morgana said

Undertow sniffed and took a cloth, wiping away a ‘tear’

“Oh Undertow I’m such a failure,†Morgana said

She took the cloth and blew her nose,

“Oh my precious, there wasn’t enough potion for this to be a permanent effect,â€

Melody gave a pleading expression,

“But, please, I don’t wanna go back to being an ordinary girl….â€

Morgana turned her back to us and swam over to a rock that made a semi good bed,

“Isn’t there some way that I can stay a mermaid? Riku and Bailey too?†she asked

I sighed and grabbed my arm, biting my lip. Riku blew a strand of hair out of his face which didn’t really do much of anything since it just floated back to where it was. Morgana put her hands on her head and laid on the rock

“Oh I’m afraid there’s just no possible way,†she sobbed

Her head shot up and her finger went up with it,

“Well there is one way†she said with a normal voice

She bounces back fast….

She the her arm over her head

“Oh no! What am I thinking?! It’s far too dangerous,†she said

And there she goes…. This woman is a creep when you think about it….. And there’s something off about her….

Melody looked at her

“What? Wh-what’s too dangerous?†she asked

“Well….†Morgana said

She sat up and looked at us,

“I could make the spell last longer, if I had my magic trident.â€

She made an ink picture of the trident and Melody stared at it, I frowned,

Wait… something isn’t right…..

Undertow swam over and looked at Morgana,

“Oh but it was stolen years ago by a deranged kleptomaniac, and there’s no one to get it back for me,†she said,

Melody perked up and looked at her, pointing at herself and us,

“Maybe we could get it back for you.†She said

My frown widened, Riku crossed his arms. Morgana looked at us wide eyes,

“You would do that for me?â€

Melody swam over her, taking her hand,

“If we did, could you make us mermaids, forever?â€

Morgana put her hand on Melody’s and smiled widely,

“Even longer if you like,†she said

Her tentacle held up a slab of ice and I swam over to them, Riku behind me. I looked at it to see that it was a map; Morgana put a finger on the picture of Atlantica.

“Now here, is where the scoundrel lives,†she said,

Melody’s eyes lit up and I swear that they looked like stars,

“Atlantica? You mean it’s not just a fish tale? It really exists?†she asked

Morgana looked at her and smiled, swimming over and looking her in the face,

“Of course it is dear, who ever told you that?â€

Melody frowned

“My…. Mother….†She muttered

I sighed and Morgana looked at her,

“Well I’m sure she didn’t mean to be cruel and deceitful,†she said

I frowned, grabbing Melody’s hand,

“Come on, if we are going to get it then we might as well go now…†I said,

I swam out, bringing Melody and Riku following behind,

“And it gives me the excuse to get away from you…†I muttered

Riku looked at me,

“Yeah, no doubt…â€

I sighed as I twirled my finger in the water, we had been riding on this Whale for a while now……

Melody turned the map around, trying to read it,

“Let’s see… uh, south to two circles pass……. Then, uh… North to… no, no, east! To uh…. Hmm….â€

I heard the whale start to sneeze and looked over and tried to grab Melody away from the blowhole, but I was a little too late because the whale sneezed and Melody went flying into the air. I saw her fall over a curved ice burg and slide down it the stop with her tail turned over. My eyes watched the map all and I winced when it shattered right in front of Melody’s face. Riku and I jumped off the whale and swam over to her. I sighed when she flipped over and picked up the map,

“Oh no! Now how are we going to get to Atlantica?

She looked over and saw a penguin hunched over a sort of ice burg cliff, and I heard a faint ‘help’, I raised an eyebrow and looked over, and flinched when I heard a ‘da, da, da’ like a kid would say when they wanted to be a ‘hero’ I looked over and saw a penguin and walrus hopping from ice platform to platform.

“Mightier then a hurricane, braver then a killer whale,â€

I rolled my eyes and jumped off, swimming over and seeing that the mother penguin was holding a chain of penguins to try and reach a baby penguin that was stranded on a little ice platform with a shark fin circling around it, I saw the penguin, holding an icicle like a sword. The penguin hopped onto the walrus as he started to climb down the chain

“Well this should be interesting….†I said

I smirked and leaned against the iceberg, watching, once they got down to the bottom they started swinging to grab the little one, but when they saw the shark they screamed and started scrambling up the chain of penguins like jack and a beanstalk, I couldn’t stop laughing, and neither could Riku or Melody. Once they almost reached the top the mother couldn’t hold on any longer and she fell backwards, letting go of the others. The penguins and walrus hit the platform and made the baby penguin fly up and into her mother’s arms. The ice started to tilt, giving the walrus and his friend a good look at the shark; they screamed and jumped onto the other side of the ice, making the others go to the other side too. Once the shark jumped onto the platform and tipped the ice fast and made the penguins and walrus get stuck in the iceberg where the mother and baby were.

“Well, that wasn’t so bad,†said the ‘fearless’ penguin,

The iceberg began to crack and the shark’s eyes widened as the mixture of ice, snow, and animals fell onto his head, covering the place in snow. The first one to pop up was the baby; it looked around and spotted its mother,

“Mama,†it said

The mother penguin shot through the snow and hugged her baby tightly as random penguins popped out of the snow. I smiled and covered my mouth; Riku looked at me and smiled slightly. The penguin popped out of the snow on top of the walrus’s head, he jumped off as the walrus climbed out of the snow,

“Another plan, perfectly executed,†the penguin said,

I looked at the penguin and sighed as I saw the other penguins glare at him and group up,

“What did you think you were doing?†the mother said

The walrus looked down and the penguin rubbed his flipper,

“We were just trying to be heroes…..†the walrus muttered

The mother penguin put a flipper on her side and pointed at them,

“You call abandoning my baby heroic?! You two boys almost got us all killed!†she shouted

A penguin snickered,

“Oh yeah, some fearless heroes,â€

Another laughed,

“More like zeroes!†he snickered

This caused the others to laugh and the penguin and walrus started to walk off. I sighed and swam over to the other side, Melody and Riku following my again.

“Go ahead, laugh your stinkin tuxedoes off… we’ll show you, someday…†the penguin said

They walked further and closer to the edge. Melody popped out of the water in front of the penguin,

“Excuse me,â€

The Penguin screamed and jumped onto the walrus’s head, making him fall backwards.

I snickered,

“Oh, did the little girl scare the poor little penguin?†I laughed as I surfaced

The Penguin raised an eyebrow,

“Scared? Who said anything about scared, don’t you know an evasive maneuvering†the penguin said

I snickered, yeah, I’ve seen it, but that wasn’t any evasive maneuvering.

Melody giggled,

“Hi, I’m Melody, this is Bailey and Riku,†she said

I smiled and saluted with two fingers, Riku just waved. The walrus sat up again, knocking the penguin off his head, he wobbled over to us,

“This here’s Tip, and I’m Dash†he said

Tip shot over to his friend and covered his mouth,

“Excuse me Mr. I spill my guts to total strangers,†he hissed

He let go and pointed to the three of us with both his flippers,

“You just blew our cover!†he said

He put his hands on his hips. Dash looked down at Tip,

“I was just trying to be friendly,â€

“Melody we really need to go,†Riku said,

Melody nodded,

“Um, we have to get going, so if you could just-â€

“See? Now they’re gonna leave and it’s all your fault†Dash said

Tip gasped

“My fault?! Uh- th-they,â€

“Um… guys?†Melody asked,

Tip poked Dash,

“They’re probably allergic to blubber,†he said

Dash put his nose to Tip’s face,

“Oh yeah?! Well maybe they don’t like…. Birds that can’t fly!!†Dash said

Tip gasped

“Guys?!†Riku said

Tip put his face back up to Dash’s,

“Well you can’t fly either!†Tip said

“Guys!†I shouted

“AND you walk funny.†Dash said

“Well! Um…… YOU CAN’T FLY EITHER!†Tip shouted

“GUYS!†the three of us shouted

Tip and Dash looked at us,

“Do either of you know how to get to Atlantica? We don’t have much time…†Melody said

Dash tilted his head as Tip narrowed his eyes at us,

“Why do you want to go to Atlantica?†Dash asked

Melody backed up from the iceberg and looked down,

“I have to get something that was stolen from a friend… Bailey and Riku are helping me… if I don’t then we’ll turn back into…..â€

Dash frowned worriedly

“What? Turn back into what?†he asked

“Humans….†Melody said

Tip gasped loudly

“I knew there was something un-fishy about you three.â€

Melody looked down as Tip started to walk away,

“Tough break guys, drop us a line, let us know how it all turns out,â€

Dash put his flipper on Tips head and turned him around

“We’ll take you!â€

Melody lit up,

“You will?!†she asked

“We will?†Tip asked

Dash muttered something into Tip’s ear, making Tip look at Melody with narrowed eyes. Melody made an excited smile and Tip sighed and took a deep breath as his expression softened

“Oo boy, I can’t believe I’m doing this, somebody stop me,†Tip said

I smiled as he pointed to us,

“Alright we’re in, onward to Atlantica!†he said

Tip and Dash jumped into the water, Melody smiled and dove in, me and Riku after the other three.

“Aha!†Tip exclaimed

He swam down and twirled in the water before swimming straight down to the sand below,

“Taming the tides, swarming the seas†Tip sang,

He stepped on the sand in front of a fish and held out his arm then kicked up his leg,

“Beware barracudas, drop to your knees,â€

The fish darted away, making Tip look back and scream before swimming away from a real barracuda, the rest of us hid behind an under water cliff and Tip followed after as the barracuda swam the way he thought Tip went,

“Defending our friends from enemiesâ€

He poked Dash’s stomach

“As big as a whaleâ€

“Hey†Dash said

“But with a much smaller tale†Riku chuckled

Tip swam through a school of fish and a few of them followed him as some jellyfish floated through them,

“Facing the foe with our fearless flukes,â€

He jumped out of the water with a jellyfish tied to his back,

“Daring the dastards to put up their dukes†Tip said,

Once he started falling the jellyfish blew out and acted as a parachute. I laughed.

“Great globs of gore, we’ll storm the shoreâ€

He landed on a beach of an island as me, Melody, Riku, and Dash sat on it, seeing a volcano start to erupt.

“To seek the unknown,†Tip sang,

“Then can we go home?!†Dash asked

The volcano caused a big wave and we let it carry us,

“Titanic Tip and Daring Dash, adventurer slash explorers, Titanic Tip and Daring Dash, adventure slash explorers, our valiant quest, to do our best! And smile for our adorers†Tip and Dash sand

Melody and I laughed and smiled. Riku smiled and rolled his eyes,

“We’ll save the day,†Melody sang

“And make a splash,†Dash sang

“Titanic Tip and Daring Dash!†Tip and Dash sang

The wave crashed over us and we twirled down to a sunken ship, Tip landed on the mask and grabbed a stick, swiping it at a crab, Dash had landed in the crow’s nest, picking up a telescope.

“We’ll clobber those crabs with their clammy claws,†he said

Dash looked around and spotted a fish through the telescope,

“We’ll shatter those sharks with their savage jaws†he said

He yelped and fell back, making the ship tilt over; Tip got hit by a chest,

“The battle is fierce†he sang

Dash clung to the mast as the ship fell,

“And mercifully brief†he sang

All of the treasure spilled over the ground below and I smiled as a tiara fell onto Melody’s head, and a crown fell onto mine and Riku’s head

“The conquering heroes return as kings of the reef!†I sang

A small crown and gold cloth napkin were on Dash as he and the crowned Tip floated down to a table. A gold table cloth floated down and Tip tied it around his neck, then he and Dash picked up the two cups that floated onto it,

“We’ll dine with the best,†Tip sang

He dashed off towards the surface as Dash flipped his cloth around so it looked like a miniature cape,

“Dressed with a flare†Tip sang

Tip hung from a rock as Dash clung to Tip’s cape,

“Climb every mountain, because it’s there.†Tip sang

Melody smiled at the two and Dash and Tip splashed back into the water. Tip grabbed Melody and my hands, swimming through an arc made out of rock,

“Come on follow me, we’ll make history,†Tip sang

Dash tried to swim through the arc but got stuck, me and Melody swam back and Riku helped us push him through

“Have courage to us!†Tip sang

Once we got Dash through all three of us looked at them,

“The trident!†we said

Dash swam into Tip and brought him up to the surface

“Or bust!†Dash said

We all swam up to the surface and saw a rock with a Helm to a ship perched on it. Melody leaned against the rock as Tip jumped off Dash and onto the rock I swam around the rock with Dash and Riku leaned against the rock on the opposite side,

“Titanic Tip and Daring Dash adventurer slash explorers,†we all sang

Dash jumped onto the rock along with Tip and I sat on the rock,

“Titanic Tip and Daring Dash, adventurer slash explorers!†we sang,

Tip held up a flipper,

“We’ll save the day,†he sang

Dash smiled,

“And make a splash,†he sang,

Melody jumped up and splashed into the water,

“Melody!â€

I splashed in next

“Bailey,â€

Riku was next

“Rikuâ€

Tip splashed in,

“Tip!â€

Dash was last

“And Daring Dash!â€

We twirled around each other,

“All for five and five for one,†we sang

We went n a straight line and swam forwards,

“Atlantica, here we come!â€

We peered over a rock and Melody, Riku, and my eyes lit up,

“I knew it, it’s real… Atlantica…..†Melody said.

Morgana laughed,

“That’s right princess, just a little further,†she said,

She looked up at her two mantas,

“Cloak, Dagger, go make sure that no one interferes with her return. Hmm?†she said

The two mantas nodded and swam off,

Sebastian looked over a rock as Triton and Ariel stopped at it, Sora and Kairi a little close behind

“Have you heard anything daddy?†Ariel asked

She sighed,

“We’ve been searching everywhere but I….â€

Ariel caught sight of a fish and gasped,

“Flounder!†she exclaimed

She swam over and took hold of the small fish, hugging it tightly, Sora scratched his head,

“Um Ariel?......†he asked

The fish squirmed out of Ariel’s grasp and called for its daddy,

“Now what?†a fish asked

Ariel bit her lip,

“S-sorry,†she said,

The fish gasped,

“Ariel?!†the fish asked

“Flounder?!†she asked

“Ariel!â€

They swam to each other and hugged each other,

“Oh I missed you!†Ariel said

Sora smiled,

“Hey Flounder, long time no see,†he said,

Flounder smiled,

“Sora! You’re here too?!†he asked

“Boy Flounder, you sure aren’t a little guppy any more,†Ariel laughed

Flounder laughed and patted his belly,

“You can say that again,†He said.

Some little fish that looked like Flounder shot past Ariel and Flounder, kicking a shell back and forth, someone kicked it the wrong way and it hit another fish’s head, Flounder swam over,

“Children, what did I say about playing kick the clam on the reef?†he asked

One of the kids said sorry and he chuckled at Ariel,

“Kids,†he chuckled

Ariel looked down, Sora sighed and Kairi put her hand on her arm. Flounder swam over,

“I’m sorry about Melody,†he said,

Ariel took Flounder’s fins in her hands,

“Flounder, I really need your help,†she said,

Flounder looked down in thought and smiled back up at her,

“Wild sea horses couldn’t stop me.†he said

Ariel smiled and hugged Flounder, swimming over to her father as he started heading back towards the castle. Sora and Kairi smiled, following the others along with Flounder,

We swam through the city and Melody looked around, slowing down to look at everything, I looked back at her and grabbed Riku’s arm before going down to her, she smiled at us as we swam behind her, she swam on her back

“It’s so beautiful,†she said

“Melody-†I warned

I tried to stop her from running into the kid in front of us but she did anyways.

“Whoa! Sorry, my fault†the boy said
“Whoa! Sorry, my…..†Melody said

Once she got a good look at him she blushed

“Fault…†she mumbled

I smiled and rolled my eyes, stopping before Melody and looking at her expression then at the boy. Riku swam over to us,

“Hi, I don’t think I’ve seen you three before, what are your names?â€

Melody swallowed thickly,
“I’m Bailey,†I said,

“Riku,†Riku stated,

Melody looked at him

“I’m Mel-…. Mel-….†She couldn’t manage to get the words out,

The boy smiled, and waved over to his friends, a girl and another guy,

“Hey guys! Meet Bailey, Riku, and Mel Mel†he said

I laughed behind my hand; Riku smiled and rolled his eyes,

“Hi!†the girl said

The other boy smiled,

“You wanna hang out with us?â€

Melody clasped her hands together and smiled widely as she nodded, Tip and Dash noticed we were missing and swam over, Tip between us and the other three,

“Alright, alright. Break it up, break it up!†he said,

He looked at the others,

“There’s nothing to see here, now move along!†he said,

Melody frowned as Tip grabbed mine and Melody’s hands,

“Come on guys!†he hissed at us,

“Lighten up Tip,†I said,

“We have a previous engagement, remember?†Tip said

He pulled us both away from the others and Dash and Riku swam behind us. The other three kids turned around, Melody looked back,

“Maybe I’ll catch you later!†the boy said,

Melody smiled and waved,

“Ugh, this is what happens when you take a country fish to the big city,â€

It took only a few moments to arrive at the room where the trident was supposed to be, and I was getting very suspicious of this whole thing because when we got in there it looked like a throne room….

“Wow, nice crib.†Tip said

I looked over at a table that a table cloth and some food were being set on it and motioned towards it as the mermaids swam away to get something. We swam over to it and I thanked the heavens that it was wide enough to hide us, Melody lifted the table cloth a bit for us to peer through, we saw a white haired merman with a blue fin,

“That must be him,†Melody whispered,

She stared at him as he pulled out a shell frame

“He looks sad……. He doesn’t look like a thief…†she whispered,

I looked at her,

“Yeah no kidding,â€

Tip rolled his eyes,

“Thieves never look like thieves.†He said,

Melody looked at him and then looked over and gasped

“Look! There it is!†she said,

“A fork?†Tip muttered,

He scowled,

“We’re risking our tales for a fork?!â€

The man looked up and looked around at the merpeople setting up a dinner, he scowled and ‘stood’ up

“We have no time for this! I want every available merman searching!†he shouted

We gasped and covered our eyes, letting the table cloth fall as he swam over to the table; he pounded a fist on the table,

“Find her! Find her!!†he shouted
He knocked the table away and Melody and I brought our hands away from our eyes as he turned and I had to thank the heavens again at the fact that he didn’t see us. Once the table floated back to the ground Tip and Dash were under it within two seconds and Melody brought me over to one of the under water bushes in here, Riku went into the parallel one. She moved down a leaf to get a look at the man again and I looked at the table when I saw it shaking like crazy. And apparently the man noticed it too because he turned around and got a suspicious look, he went over to it and was about to grab it but a small sea horse swam up to him,

“King Triton, your daughter along with the Keybearer and the Princess have returned,†he said

It felt like an arrow shot through me, and I knew Riku felt the same way. If Sora was with this guy’s daughter, then……

Triton swam off with the sea horse and Melody swam over to grab the Trident, I grabbed her arm, frowning,

“Melody, this doesn’t seem right. Why do you trust her?â€

Melody looked at me, giving a small smile,

“Don’t worry Bailey, I promise everything will turn out ok.†She said

“But-â€

She got out of my grasp and went over to the trident, reaching a hand for it then hesitating. Tip swam up,

“Oh sure, that’s it. Take your time, kick back relax. Let’s all just linger here and die!†he said

Dash turned and saw Triton start to return.

“He’s coming back!†he aid

I swam over, floating on the opposite side of the trident as her,

“Please Melody; you don’t have to do this.†I said,

She bit her lip and frowned,

“Yes I do.†She said

She grabbed the Trident and it glowed briefly before she pulled it out. I was ‘standing’ a little too close to it when she pulled it out and it cut my neck a little, also cutting my necklace off, I clapped my hand onto the cut, the salt water was NOT helping it

“My necklace!†I said

“Come on!†Melody said

She grabbed my other hand and started swimming up, Riku went to grab the necklace but Dash pushed him after Melody and I, Tip straight after our tales.

Sora looked at Ariel,

“Aww, don’t worry Ariel, we’ll find her,†he said

Ariel looked away and then looked up and gasped, grabbing her father’s shoulder and pointing to where the trident once stood,

“Daddy, the trident!â€

Sebastian swam over and landed on the empty stand,

“But that’s impossible… nobody can remove the trident from its stand except... you sire, you or one of your descendants!†he said,

Ariel Triton and Flounder looked at him; Kairi looked down when she saw a glint and gasped,

“Sora!†she said,

She swam down and picked up the necklace that was supposed to be around Bailey’s neck, Sora swallowed thickly.

“This is Bailey’s necklace…†he said,

“But isn’t she supposed to be with…. Melody…….†Ariel said

She smacked her head then rolled her eyes at herself,

“Melody was… but how could she have gotten here?â€

Triton looked down in thought,

“Morgana could have gotten to her…. Double the search parties! I want every creature in the ocean on patrol!†he shouted

The guards nodded and bowed before swimming off

“Yes sire!†they said in unison

Two shadows swam over Sora, Kairi, Ariel, and Flounder, making them look up. Two mantas swam out of the building and Ariel narrowed her eyes,

“Wait… I know those two…†she muttered

She started swimming off, and looked back at the others

“Come on,†she said

Sora, Kairi, and Flounder swam after her

Sebastian cried,

“This is all my fault! If I had just paid a little more attention instead of just blabbering on and on and on…â€

Ariel and the others followed the two mantas from a distance,

“And on and on… from now on your majesty, nothing escapes…†Sebastian said

He blinked and looked around

“Me?â€

Tip and Dash cheered and jumped high out of the water, happy that we had finally gotten the trident. I sat on a rock and looked down with a cross between a painful and sad look. Riku put a hand on mine,

“Hey, if Sora and Kairi are really with Triton, I’m sure he’ll get the necklace back; besides, there’s nothing to be sad about.†He said

I sighed,

“I guess….†I muttered

Melody was in the shadow of the rock I was sitting on and I looked down at her then sighed when I saw what was putting her down.

“The castle wasn’t so far from Atlantica…..†I said

Melody looked up at me sadly as Tip and Dash noticed us, swimming over, she looked up at them,

“All this time… Atlantica wasn’t far away from my home…â€

“This is where you live?†Dash asked

Melody looked down,

“It used to be…†she muttered

“Wow! What a pad! But what’s with the wall?†Tip said

“Yeah, whatcha tryin’ to keep out?†Dash asked

Melody glared at the water,

“It wasn’t built to keep anyone out. It was built to keep me in… come on, let’s go.†She said

She turned around and started to swim back to Morgana’s place. I sighed and jumped into the water, Riku swam after me. Tip and Dash looked back and then swam after us.

“You know guys? You three and both of us would make a pretty good team.†Tip said

We swam to the entrance of the cave

“Once you guys are permanent mermaids, we’ll be friends forever.†Dash said

I looked down Riku sighed.

“We’ll be inseparable!†Tip said

Undertow’s fin stuck out of the water and he swam between Riku, Melody and I and Tip and Dash. When they saw it they screamed loudly and swam away about 20 miles per hour. Melody looked back

“No! Wait! It’s just….†She mumbled

Undertow surfaced completely and laughed

“Goin’ so soon boys?†he asked

He looked at us,

“What can I say? When you got it, you got it.†He said

He noticed the trident in Melody’s hands and smiled widely

“Hey! You got it!†he said

He started swimming back into the cave

“You guys are my new heroes! Let’s go… it’s time for some magic.â€

Melody smiled and started swimming after Undertow, then stopped and looked back,

“But what about my friends?...â€

Undertow laughed

“You mean you call those two yellowbelly sea slugs your friends? Come on! You wanna be a mermaid or what?!â€

Melody looked back once more then followed, making us follow after.

The two mantas swam up through the ice and Ariel, Sora, Kairi and Flounder swam after them, surfacing and watching the mantas swim into a cave, the dark grey sky giving it an eerie feeling. Ariel sighed,

“So that’s where it is,†she said

She turned to Flounder,

“Swim as back as fast as you can and tell my father, I’ll try to find Melody,â€

Flounder nodded and saluted,

“You can count on me Ariel.â€

He swam as fast as he could back to Atlantica. Sora looked at Ariel and she nodded to him, they swam over to the lair.

“Oh there you are my darlings! I was so worried about you!â€

Her eyes widened and she smiled,

“And you brought me back my trident! Clever kids.â€

She held out her hand and Undertow swam around Melody,

“Give it to her, give it to her, give it to her!†he snapped

Morgana’s tentacle shot over and grabbed him, covering his mouth and putting him on the chair,

“Ignore him; he has a little size issue.†She said

I frowned. This has gone too far, she is NOT a good person I just know it.

“Now, if you’ll just hand over the trident,â€

She held out her hand again,

“Melody doesn’t! Don’t listen to her!â€

“Mom?!†Melody asked

Ariel stared at us and our newly gained fins and Melody looked up and her, Sora and Kairi swam in quickly and stared at us,

“You’re a mermaid?†Melody and Ariel asked in unison

“Ariel! How nice of you to come! And you brought the Keybearer and the princess with you,†she said

Sora and Kairi scowled at Morgana as she turned to us,

“Sweetheart, hand me my trident now,†she said

“All this time… you never told me?†Melody asked

Ariel looked down as Morgana put her hands on Melody’s shoulders, I clenched my fists,

“Kept the most important secret in her whole life from her own daughter,â€

Ariel held out her hand,

“Melody please, give it to me.â€

“No. Give it to me. It’s for your own good,â€

Ariel frowned

“She’s lying!â€

I frowned

“I’ve given you what you’ve always wanted. She’s the one who lied to you all these years.â€

My frown turned into a scowl,

“I was trying to protect you!†Ariel said

Melody shook her head,

“By fencing me in? You KNEW how much I love the sea, why did you keep the truth from me?â€

Ariel swam over to Melody

“Melody listen to me, if there was one thing in my entire life I could do over again, I-â€

I sneered at Morgana as Melody pulled away from her mother,

“Too late mom.†She said

Everyone but Morgana and I shouted no as Melody went to give her the trident. I swam fast and grabbed the trident out of Morgana’s grasp before she could take it from Melody. Morgana growled at me as I floated close to the entrance of the cave,

“I’m sorry Melody, but I can’t continue to go against this.â€

Melody looked up at me,

“But- why? Don’t you want to be a mermaid? Don’t you want ME to be a mermaid?â€

I frowned, clutching the trident tightly,

“Melody, if the good guy was telling you that they would turn you into a mermaid then I would let it pass without a glance, but she is NOT a good person.†I said

I swam as fast as I could to try and get out of the cave, but Morgana appeared in front of me with a cross between a scowl and a grin,

“Oh clever dawn,†she said

My eyes widened, how did she know about that?!

She grabbed my arm tightly with her tentacle and pried me off the trident, wrapping her tentacle around my whole body

“But I’M even cleverer,†she said

Melody stared wide eyed at what was happening, Morgana grabbed the trident and it glowed green as she laughed maniacally,

“All the power of the seven seas is mine! And along with Dawn the guardian I will be able to conquer the universe!â€

Undertow growled,

“Hello?! Can we get with the program?! It’s still a small world down here!†he shouted

Riku growled and swam up to try and get me, Sora following him. Morgana knocked them both aside and Melody tried to reach me,

“Bailey!â€

Morgana pointed the Trident at her,

“You should have listened to your friend here, she warned you about me and your mother here was trying to protect you from me all along!†she said

She grabbed Ariel with another tentacle, then looked at Melody

“Little Melody has been a naughty girl, steeling from her own grandfather,â€

Melody gasped,

“My… my grandfather?â€

Morgana laughed

“King Triton! Ruler of Atlantica, commander of all of the oceans.†She said

She laughed as she went forwards, giving Melody the chance to reach me and Ariel,

“Or at least he was until a certain little girl came along,â€

Melody growled,

“You tricked me!†she said,

Morgana turned around and smirked

“You’ve got no one to blame but yourself.†She said

Melody looked down,

“Tell me Melody; was it worth it to be a mermaid?†Morgana asked

Melody gasped as Morgana grabbed her and threw her into a chamber,

“Melody!†Kairi shouted

Kairi swam over and put her hand on Melody’s shoulder, they both gasped as Morgana slowly put up an ice wall, a small circle left as she swam up,

“Oh and by the way Melody, your time as a mermaid is just about up,†she said

She closed the hole and laughed,

“Catch you later!†she said

She swam up,

“I’ve got bigger fish to fry!†she said

“Bigger fish! Now there’s an idea!†Undertow said

She swam up and raised the trident, her lair started to rumble and her thrown rose into the sky,

“All hail! Queen Morgana!†she shouted

I saw a ship and spotted Eric,

“Hold on Ariel! We’re coming to get you!†Eric shouted,

“Ah Prince Eric, come to join the party? We’re having a blast!†she shouted

She pointed the Trident and broke the iceberg that was over the ship, making the crew jump out. Sora and Riku swam out. Riku looked up and growled, Sora went over and helped Eric, Morgana smiled,

“Oh how dear Ursula would have adored this!†she said

I growled, Ariel Bit Morgana’s Tentacle

“YOUCH!†Morgana shouted

The tentacle that had been around Ariel loosened and she jumped out, but what I didn’t expect was that to try and ease her pain Morgana squeezed me to where I felt like I couldn’t breathe,

“Morgana!†Triton shouted

Triton swam up and Ariel swam to him. Triton looked up at Morgana and I. Morgana had seemed to forget her pain when she saw Triton,

“King Triton? Is that the best you can do? A few soldiers by your side and a little crab riding on your shoulder?â€

Triton growled,

“Release the guardian, surrender my grand daughter and perhaps I shall spare you,â€

Morgana laughed,

“Whatcha gonna do? Throw the crab at me?†she asked

Undertow laughed,

“Face it Triton, you’re all washed up!†he shouted

Sebastian jumped off and clapped his claws to try and get Undertow’s fin. Undertow jumped away as Sebastian jumped after him,

“Now look at me, I’m bait!†he said

Morgana rolled her eyes and pointed the trident at Undertow, making him grow bigger. He smiled and clapped his fins,

“Oh yeah baby! Look out!â€

Eric growled and took out his sword,

“Where’s Melody?! What have you done with her?!â€

Morgana snickered,

“Oh, you want to join your daughter? Well I think that can be arranged,†she said

Eric yelped as the mantas pulled him down into the water. Ariel swam after them and tried to get Eric. Sebastian jumped in and grabbed a hold of the two mantas tails, making them yell and let go of Eric’s feet.

Tip and Dash looked around as they entered the cave. Undertow snuck up behind them and grinned,

“Going somewhere boys?†he asked

Tip and Dash looked behind them and Tip gave a nervous laugh,

“Just trying to find the little penguin’s room... He... heâ€

Dash looked down at Tip and patted him on the shoulder,

“Well, it’s been nice knowin ya,†he said

He looked at Undertow and jumped on him,

“I’ll hold him! You go get Melody!†he shouted

The Penguin looked in awe at his friend wrestling Undertow,

“That it one brave hunk of blubber†Tip said

He scrambled down and looked for Melody,

The sun started to set and I gasped as my legs started to return. I looked down and saw that Riku climbed onto the ice with his legs back, he looked up at me and started tised platform. If we both have our legs, that means Melody is in trouble…

Dash just held onto Undertow’s fin as his plan to wrestle the shark failed and he swam after Tip. Tip slipped on an ice platform and flew into the air, landing on the smiling Undertow’s nose. Tip gave a nervous laugh

“Heh, nice fishy…. Oo… BIG fishy…†he said

The shark didn’t pay attention to where he was going when he tossed Tip up again and caught him in his mouth. When he realized where he was going finally he couldn’t stop himself from running into the thick ice that contained Melody and Kairi. When he came through he smacked into the rock in the back and was knocked out… possibly for good. Dash swam over when Undertow’s teeth fell out, showing Tip shaking like a leaf inside the mouth. He noticed he was free and smiled,

“Another plan, perfectly executed.†Tip said

“Melody!†Kairi said,

She held Melody as she swam up to the surface. Tip and dash helping her.

Tip shot out of the water and onto the ice and Kairi heaved melody onto it. Melody coughed and her eyes flickered open.

I squirmed around and clutched the Tentacle digging my nails into it. Morgana shrieked and glared at me,

“You be a good girl now and let auntie Morgana take care of things.†Morgana said

She pinned me to the ground and gasped as Riku tugged on another of her tentacles, glaring at her. Morgana growled and swung the trident, knocking him off,

“Riku!†I shouted

She left that topic automatically and swung the trident again,

“Fools! I have the trident now and all the creatures of the sea are in my power!†she shouted

Giant ice pillars and thorns rose from the ocean and created a castle. She laughed and swung the trident again, making the mermen bow down into the water. Everyone that was a sea creature

“I am the queen of the sea and you will bow down before me! The end begins with those of you with fins!â€

I growled and tried to get out of her hold again, I saw Melody hop onto an ice pillar and wave to me. I nodded and summoned my blade. Something that I knew I should have thought of to begin with. Morgana howled in pain as Double Team pierced into her skin and she finally let me go. I dismissed the blade as I stood up and grabbed the trident. Morgana growled,

“What are you going to do with that?†she asked

“Giving it to someone who will return it to the owner.†I said

I threw the trident to Melody and she caught it and smiled,

“Grandfather? I believe this belongs to you.†She said

She threw it to Triton and Morgana in an effortless attempt, pushed me away to try and reach it. Her push sent me flying off the platform and plummeting to the bottom. Even though I knew it wasn’t going to help I screamed.

“Bailey!†Riku and Sora shouted

Dash gasped and jumped over and stopped belly up where I was falling, giving me his stomach to land on. I smiled at Dash

“Thank you.â€

“Morgana!â€

I turned around and looked at Triton

“Never again will you or your kind threaten my family and friends again! There will be no escape for you! Ever!†Triton shouted

He shot a beam at Morgana and she was frozen into a block of ice. As soon as this happened I stood up and caught Melody as she jumped from the breaking ice, everyone ran away from the falling ice castle.

Melody talked with her mother and father. Kairi and Sora talked with King Triton and he turned them back to normal. I sighed as I washed off the dirt that was on my face and arms. I splashed water on my left arm and frowned when it wouldn’t go away. I touched the spot and gasped as I stared at the bruise like mark on my arm. I have seen this mark before on one of my friends… Geostigma…. But- how did I have it? I don’t understand this… but if Cloud or anyone finds out then there will be no end of it. I looked at Riku talking with Sora and Kairi and sighed as I walked further away and sat on a piece of ice. Getting out a bandage wrap from my pants and wrapping the upper part of my left arm. I grabbed a part in my mouth and tried to tie it, but that wasn’t working out too well.

“You need help?†I heard Riku asked

I looked back at him and he sighed as he walked around, tying a knot to keep the bandaging from moving. He sighed

“What’d you do this time?†he asked

I sighed

“I… cut my arm, that’s all.†I lied

He sighed and smiled, shaking his head. Handing me my necklace. I smiled widely and took the necklace from his hands, noticing that it was repaired too. I latched it around my neck and smiled.

“Come on, Sora said that he’s gonna follow us back to Radiant Gardens cause he needs supplies.†Riku said

I nodded

We said our goodbyes to the others and went back up to our gummy ships. I tried to start ours but it refused to. I had to call Sora and have him tow us back to the port.

“Gah! What did you do?! Go through an asteroid field?! It’s completely destroyed!†Cid shouted

I smiled nervously and rubbed the back of my head,

“Sorry!†I said

Ugh, if Cloud is in a good mood, he won’t be once he sees the condition of our ship and me. Messed up ship + mangled me = one over protective Cloud. Ugh, tis is not going to be a nice sight.

i growled as heartless surrounded us went we tried to get into the castle.

~|Cloud: "maybe we should try and fin out what's up"|~

'Bailey... y-your arm..... is that...'

i looked away and cover my arm,

'i didn't want you to worry...'

~|Zack: "we'll find out soon enough."

Cloud: "i guess you're right, but i'm still worried..."

Zack: you're always worried"|~

EDIT: Now that I'm not rushed, I'm making a longer post.

I remember the song/dream portion from when you showed me (last month), but Headstrong is a new one. (shudders) Oh, Riku...

Melody, Melody, Melody. (sighs) Still reminds me of Kairi. Just a lot more daring.

Notes: Poor Bailey, Geostigma sucks. Cloud's gonna flip when he finds out. To say nothing of Riku and Zack.

And by the way...you're DEAD for taking so long with this!!

 

^^' i figured you would say that silver, but its a VERY long chapter as you can see, and if anyon complains about the length just remember, i got this from a MOVIE so it WILL be a little long, unless i do a whole movie again they shouldnt be this long unless its like a very important matter.
