Have you ever beat riku at the race the first time in destiny island
cuz i did just now and nuthing was diffrent all he said was "Take it easy its just a NAME.

I did, it took me a while.... I was stuck in Atlantica so I went back to the begining and tried to get it 100 to 0 to Sora. When it came to the race I was so annoyed becuase I had to restart the ps2 everytime he beat me. I did though and I find it quite easy now. I ended up getting 99 to 0 to me with a lifetime supply of potions. XD

 

lol, did it bring u any other good? i meen that potions are great but, thats it?

 

Yeah, I beat Riku...on my third attempt on the race.

It brought me the feeling of acheivement- I was determined but well it was a few months ago and I don't remember it that well but yeah I think all I got was potions. I do remember finishing the game with 52 potions left though XD I found it worth it though.

 

Oh yeah, I've beaten Riku on the first try before. It was quite easy for me because I have played the game 37 times through. (yes, i am obsessive.)

I've beaten him on my first try. But all I got was a pretty stone.

 

I've never beaten Riku at anything, but it's still my first time playing KH1. But I'll watch out for that typo, if I eventually beat him.

 

Yes I beat him, on my third time starting it, I cheated by going around, but then it's not really cheating.

 

The Pretty Stones are good! I kept on just fighting Riku and that got me potions. I read that you could sell a pretty stone for 200mounny I think! If you had 99 of those you would be rich.

 

Yeah, you can get rich pretty quick off of those. I think the most i've ever had was 15. that led to a nice bonus once traverse town came along =]

 

Yup. It's easy once you get the hang of it. One time I messed up though and I got so mad at Riku, lol.

 

Yea, pretty easy after you figure out the way to go. They did? *will look for it next time I beat him*

 

I fess up to rebooting the game to race Riku until I beat him. Then once I knew how I went back and did it so it showed up as I won him on the first try and yeah, I had the same thing happen. That was pretty cool. I also liked when Riku lost matches in the fighting and he just shrugs like 'oh well' and did it again when in KH2 you face him.

 

The race is really easy, i know the route that wins it like the back of my hand, never been able to beat him in a fight though :(

Yep, beat him on the first try and that's that. I tried to knock him into the water but it didn't work out very well...

 

Riku never falls in the water in the fight but using the board on the bridge was fun hehe. He must've fought there a million times because I can tell you that at times when I fought him I'd swear he knocked me into the water. lol The race though wasn't that hard. I agree the fighting against him was more of a challenge because once the race plan was set from either of two ways, it was a cinch.

 

Same here. I just watched what Riku did and copied him, and I make sure that I get ahead of him at the beginning so I can jump on the loose board near the start of the race and make him fall into the ocean *muahaha*. I hate him fighting, though. Even when you hit him with a combo he just rolls into a ball and unleashes a merciless counterattack. *sigh*
