Chain of Memories Did Castle Oblivion get destroyed?

They're talking about after the game. That's during the game.

The forgetting wasn't apart of the castle. It was all Namine. That's why Riku never forgot anything.

Anyway, I think it's just abandoned. And for all of you wondering if Riku Replica is still there or if he left somewhere, he's dead. If you played through Riku's story, you'd know that in Twilight Town, Riku fights and defeats him. Then he fades away into darkness, never to be seen again.

 

Yeah, I'd agree that it was abandoned, like other people said. It wasn't destroyed in any of the games, and if it was destroyed during the time between them, we would have been told.

And about Repliku, yeah, he's dead. It would be cool if he wasn't, though. He was one of my favorite characters.​

 

i would like to say that xion livess there in the time of the new DS game but thats just a theory.

 

Well, there's still a part of Castle Oblivion int the Twilight Mansion; the room with the pod where Sora slept in. I don't think it got destroyed.

They just happened to be placed there
Before KH2, Ansem convinced Namine to move them to his "hideout" in the Mansion since Org XIII could easily find Sora in Castle Oblivion

 

I think it plays a keyrole in the story; due to the fact that it has the "Room of Sleep", so it's prolly just not shown for awhile

 

The castle was abandoned, but I think I read somewhere that it will be featured in a later game, mabe 358/2. Also, the Riku Replica was destroyed, and he was technically a Nobody, if you think about it.

 

He wasn't a Nobody. He was a copy. A fake body with a fake heart made to look and act like Riku. A Nobody is what someone with a strong heart's body becomes after losing their heart. Therefore:
Repliku (Riku Replica) =/= Nobody.

 

It WS gonna be in khII but I think that it took up too much memory or something so SE didn't put it in...Visiting it was how you were supposed to get the secret ending.

I think castle oblivion is the Mansion... go into the "White Room" and you know how next to "Attack" there's a picture of the keyblade? well if you into the "White Room" the keyblade's... in a card!

 

I am 96% sure that was just an in-joke that referenced to Castle Oblivion.

That's actually a good question. Have no clue though. I still have a hunch that the ''Room of Sleep'' could be there, and it will appear in one of the other series. o.o...

Not Really because of 358/2 Days. It shows Xion in Castle Oblivion.

 

Castle Oblivion was just abandoned, in KH2:FM there's a hack to get to it, so it does still exist.

 

I heard Castle Oblivion will be appearing in 258/2 days so we might know what happened to it there.

 

I think it will be destroyed because there is no use for it anymore

 

ummmmm, ya.....there is a confirmed report that Castle Oblivion will be on 358/2 Days and why would they just "Blow it up, or get rid of it?
