Different Styles of fighting.

Personally, I like duel wielding. So I'd have to say Sora in Valor Form. Or maybe Master. It depends on whether or not my opponent likes to stay in close or keep his distance.

 

I would use Riku's, Sora's style is to Sora-ish.

 

I would use Riku's because it is just awesome and it is far combat. and I don't like close combat so i chose far combat so I chose Riku's. No wait Roxas' it is awesome. Sora's is just plain weird because it is just plain weird. If you know what I mean. do you know what I mean

 

Sora's style isnt weird. Its just hes not equipped to use it normally. You need armour in order for that style to work. Also, its more effective when you opponent is whering armour as well, as you have a wider swinging area to build momentum to break through.

Its a practical style in the right circumstances.

 

I like Riku's style cuz

1) It's a lot more easier to wield (at least it seems like it)
2) It's a lot more convienient considering that u have a free hand.
3) Riku's cooler than Sora.

 

Hm..... I think I would use Sora's style well....something similar his direct style is too awkward for me.
I would just use a long sword with 2 hands or just a 2 handed swords cus it just feels more natural using both hands that with using one. Like holding the sword in the same fasion as sora maybe a little higher up, with my knees bending a little bit but....the crouching thing.....that defenetly does NOT work for me.

 

My style is more like Riku's. I hold it in one hand, but I don't hold it like he does.

 

But if the blade is in contact with the enemy for too long, the impulse(momentom's equivilant of force) bemomes less, causing less damage. Because Riku's blade is in contact with the enemy for less time per attack, it causes more damage. Also, because bouncing takes more momentom, and Riku's blade bounces, it causes more damage. But it still depends on the way enemy fights for me.

 

Sora's style.

 

It's not contact time it's impact time. ICSP is correct about the wider swing creating a larger force. When you hit something the point that is damaged is the part that accelerates to match your speed versus the material around it that is still static so there is a compression or cut where the matter is being moved out of the way depending on the surface area of the thing you're hitting with. Also if a blade rebounds it's 'cause there isn't enough force behind it and acceleration of the target is minimal. So rebounding proves the strike is weaker rather than stronger than a blade that smashes through something. I understand your point but you misunderstand the physics of it. On another note, keyblades are magical and physics don't apply to them.

 

Sora's style. It's just force of habit. lol I use a a stick that kinda looks like a de-formed-keyblade to fight with, and as soon as I'm bout 2 charge, I always do it like Sora does in the opening when he charges at Marluxia. But the crouching thing? Nah... just makes me look stupid. I Do swing the stick over my shoulder when I'm walking around with it tho....

 

Oops. Hehe. I was thinking about it in the sense that it takes a greater impulse to bounce than it does to strike. But that does make more sense. Also, even though Keyblades are magical, they are still physical objects, therefore physics do apply to them. If you want to continue this conversation, PM me.

I'm more like Riku, I hold my weapons one handed.... I got a staff in my bedroom (My weapon), and I pretend I'm Xaldin without the dreadlocks and super-sideburns XD

 

Sora's is much more practical and useful, but frankly, Riku's is cooler.

 

Ive always wondered if the keyblade was heavy, but im probably more Riku

 

Riku's style

The way I fight is I try to trick my opponet with fient style moves then quikly attak from another direction

(I fence with my brother and freinds alot and none of them can beat me)

 

Well it would depend on the size of the sword....

If I were to try and fight with a sword like Cloud's sword.....two hands definitely...but...like Riku's?
