Digital Persona Saga - Mask of Longing

"What was your first guess? That fiance of yours has a really medieval style of thinking."

 

Lesa's nightmare was unbearable. It was of the day her parents told her she would marry a man she'd never met before. "But mother!" Her mother scowled, "No buts. it's for the best of our family. You'll like this boy, I promise." Lesa scowled, "I won't. I won't marry him!"

Styria slid from her mistress as she slept, "Nix, dearest sister, please watch over them. I must go." Nix didn't answer as normal and she left, floating down the halls before slipping through the wall to the forest.

 

"Ugh, don't remind me about her."

 

Minato gently took the ring back and put her necklace back on. "I can't remember the reason, but I was brought here to help you guys defeat Toji."

 

"We could use the help. The rebels can only do so much. We haven't been able to gain much ground."

 

Minato smiled and felt Orpheus push her closer to Hattori.

 

Hattori stared into her eyes and smiled.

 

Minato smiled and sighed, laying against him. Orpheus whimpered a little.

 

Hattori put his arms around her.

 

Styria drifted through the forest, touching and freezing trees as she went, singing, "On a cold December night, we sing by candle light."

 

Minato sighed, she wished it was with the Hattori she loved.

 

Snow stood in the middle of the forest. He calmly put his book in his pocket and reached for one of his pistols. He took it and fired into the air. At that moment, Nyx formed out of the smoke of the bullet. She spread her wings wide and the purple eyes opened. Snow smiled. "Nyx, show me what can happen when we're perfectly in synch." Nyx did as she was told. She spread her wings even farther and Snow's eyes became a deep purple. The mark on his back glowed a radiant white. A huge blizzard began. About a square mile of forest was covered in ice. "Now, block out he sun." Nyx threw her hand into the air and blasted darkness into he sky. It covered he sun and now he forest was in complete darkness. A large cutting sound thundered through the forest. Then he darkness lifted. All that was left of the forest was a few tree stumps and an abundance of ice. Snow sat quietly on a tree stump and red his book, waiting for Lesa.

 

Lesa jerked upright in her bed, a pain was radiating from her arm. She screamed. The scream reverberated throughout the entire place.

Styria watched Snow and Nyx move in synch and she wished Lesa would focus enough to do that. "Soon," she whispered. She soaked up the ice into her skin and formed out of the snow before the pair.

 

Hattori sighed as he let go of Minato.

 

Minato smiled and stretched when a persona burst through the window. Minato touched Orpheus' mark and transformed into him. The persona who was a red and gold version of Orpheus.

 

Hattori called out Metatron.

 

"Orpheus Telos is the prefect persona for you, Lady Arisa!" Two of them attacked each other with their sword-like harps.

 

Hattori glared at Arisa and drew his bow, aiming an arrow at her. Metatron charged it with light and dark energy.

 

Arisa used a fire spell at Minato, who dodged.

 

Hattori launched the arrow at Arisa.
