    Sorry man, I've been REALLY busy. I've got Roxas rigged to KH1 Sora's bones, but I can't really do anything with it.
    All my free time has been devoted to other things. xD I'm playing through 1.5 which I just got today.

    I check here every once in a while to check on updates, just been too busy to post recently. Plus I haven't had anything to share, cause I've been busy. I've been a lurker on this forum since the early code vault days, so I can assure you that I won't totally disappear. ;)

    I am looking to do a bit of retexturing to the areas themselves... How would one access the world models? i believe their the .ard files... i may be wrong though

    ard files are text files, as for the world textures they can't be edited yet, not to mention i don't know where they are :p

    Just need to dig around. We haven't really been doing that so there is still a lot of stuff undiscovered

    Ah. I really have no idea how to dig around files........ could it perhaps be in the .wdt files? I haven't seen anything about them mentioned anywhere on the net

    i remember reading somewhere that the line on the attack bar was fixed qas there any file released?

    I think that's the "UI fixed for HD" file, on the first post.

    The model rigging is somewhat hard lol

    Trying to rig DDD Sora to Kh1 Sora's bones for practice. I know it's better to wait for 1.5's files for the mdls.

    However I think some of the Heartless models in 1.5 aren't changed and I would love to port the KH2 heartless that were in KH1 over.

    The only annoying part is vertex weighting. ;) It just takes forever to make it look good. There is an 'auto-rig' script for 3DSMAX that was made for SSBB. :P Some vertices will have issues though. I just do it by hand. The result is better looking IMO. I'm working on Dissidia mods ATM.

    I'm using Blender lol. I should switch to 3DS max at least for a trial, but it refuses to download for me.[DOUBLEPOST=1380152320][/DOUBLEPOST]I've just rigged Mickey's com model to his KH1 bones ( for canon reasons)

    Wish I knew how to convert the dae to mdls :(

    Or actually .cvbb since that's the real model

    mdls is like a container holding textures, models, etc. If we can figure out how to convert dae to cvbb then zip it back to mdls with the respective textures then we have something going for us.

    Don't use blender lol It's like 10x more complicated.
    Could you post a source on the .cvbb files? I believe you, but I've never even heard of that format.
    If that's true, no wonder I can't find any vertex or bone data. :eek:
    I've got no idea how to decompress data, or anything like that.

    On the Xentax thread someone posted a model from 1.5 on there. Falo said the. Cvbb file contains the model. I guessthe same applies to the ps2 version too, because I can't imagine Square changing up the files and structures too much.[DOUBLEPOST=1380207577][/DOUBLEPOST]I wonder if the HP bars are a texture thing.

    What about the HP bars? I can edit those textures, and already have if that's what you mean. I could change them, or recolor them. I just didn't see the point. Look at 'UI fixed for HD' in the OP. If you mean the character faces/mugshots on the HP bars, I think those are inside the mdls files as well.

    This is possible. I can do this if you want. I'd just need to rip KH2/Re:CoM HP bars with texmod.

    They show the bones in 3ds max by autodesk.

    Oh snap really? So the bars work the same way huh? I would love to see this though don't we need to know how to extract mdls models first?
