Do you fear death?

Yes I am. Though I think it's the though of being dead that is scary. Also a fear of dying. I always though if you died at old age that it will be like you are very tired and falling asleep... At least I would like to think that.

 

Or you have faith because you are afraid of death. No one can say for sure. Religion was a convenient way to explain lightning and people suddenly dropping dead, but ever since more adequate explanations presented themselves, I don't see any use for the supernatural aspect of religion but to provide a way to cope with finity.

Not fearing death doesn't mean you're content with just any way of dying.

 

I do, despite fulling knowing that you just don't exist anymore in the afterlife. You no longer think, you will no longer be, I don't see why there's much to fear because, well, you won't feel anything anymore, and yet, I'm downright scared of dying.

 

I fear death, especially at my current stage in life because I sit and think of all the things I have yet to do. I haven't experienced life yet, I'm not ready to leave it. I like to believe that when it comes I will be at peace with the idea and believe that it's God doing but I just can't be sure of that- it depends on the situation. I think when I am much much older and about to die from old age then I won't fear death simply because I will have had my time to make peace with the idea. I'm not there yet and I hope it doesn't come for a while.

Sometimes I feel low, sometimes I feel so low I wish for death but it doesn't last long, as soon as I think of all the things I'd miss out on and my family and friends then the ideas leave my head immediately. I'm not ready for death yet.

 

I fear death. It's my greatest fear. I don't believe in the afterlife, so the concept of me or somebody I know dying is mortifying to me.

 

I do fear it. The thought of everything just stopping and ending is pretty scary imo.
