dragon riders of the old Alagaesia

An elf! he thought. This is remarkable! He then remembered what he said. "We are also Riders and friends." he said, showing his gedwey ignasia. "Our dragons are sleeping over there." He pointed to the dragons.

 

Jordan looked over at Gallad.
"Oh, you know the language?" she asked softly

 

"Yes, I know a little bit of the Ancient language." he said.

 

Kairotu looked surprised. He swiveled to face the girl. "Do you not know the language of old?"

 

"No. I was never taught," she said.

 

He smiled kindly. "Well thats something we'll have to remedy, right?" He walked over to them but remained standing.

 

She cocked her head to the side and rubbed her eyes again
"I guess?" she said questionably. She didn't really understand what he was saying.

 

"He means we'll have to teach you." he said. "And if you don't know the Ancient language, that means you can't use magic either. So we'll have to teach you that too."

 

She cocked her head once more.
"Is that mandatory?" she asked

 

"We'll I guess not." he said. "But it would help."

 

She took a second to think.
"Could it help me find Jessie?" she asked.

 

"Actually yes." he said.

She looked back at the picture and sighed. She looked back up and rubbed her eyes.
"Okay then," she said.

"First i'd like to try soming on your eyes." he said. "If it's okay with you."

 

"What is it?" she asked.

 

"I think I can heal your eyes." he said.

 

She sighed.
"I would veyr much appreciate that... But they've beened poisioned for a few years," she said.

 

"Can I at least try?" he asked her.

 

She sighed again.
"If you want to," she said.

 

"Here I go." he said, placing a hand over her eyes. He concentrated and said "Waise heill!(Be healed!)" He felt his energy drain away as the magic did it's job.
