DUDE! Something is going to happen soon and Im scared! T^T

As you all know, I live in California, right next to San Francisco. Now, I live less than 5 miles away from the Hayward Fault, where the huge 1906 earthquake took place and destroyed the entire city of San Francisco, which is more than 20 miles away.

Just now, there were 2 little earthquakes. One was a 3.6. Not only that, 2 days ago there was a 3.7, which was called a reminder that a big one will hit the city anytime soon.

The 1906 earthquake was one of those century earthquakes which come every century. It's almost 2007, which means its passed 100 years. There had been reports that the San Francisco area will witness a similar earthquake such as that in the next 20 years. Right now, I feel like packing my bags once more, but obviously cant since I just moved.

I just took a course on Geology, so I learned a lot about Earthquakes...and they are completely random. Yes its been awhile, but at the moment no one has the ability to predict earthquakes. So is it likely? it is always likely living in California, half of the state is on one side of a transform fault boundary, and half is on the other side. Just hope you are somewhere safe when it finally does decide to happen...

 

San Fransisco's gonna be hit with double the power of the last one. I have abook on the damage.................... Just hope you're not near the San Andreas fault.

Great... look at the freakin prediction. This was the earthquake that happened a couple hours ago. :/

 

wait this happened yesterday, well in my time, and the magnitude was 3.7, that must be hard, hope no one got hurt

THe eartquake reminded me of my hometown, which happened in 1990, which destroyed the whole area here in my hometown.

I had a good dream, too. Until the I landed on the floor and my mom came in yelling "EARTHQUAKE!!"

In the news, they say it was a 3.5 which circled around the Hayward Fault once again -_-;
