Ed It Out

Ahead, Kairi sees Roxas dragging Axel somewhere.
"Wonder where those two are going?" She says following them.

Kairi see them head into a house and decides it may be best not to bother them, but decides to peek inside the window. Inside she sees Axel and Roxas getting close. Embarresed, Kairi pulls her head away, accidently bumping the outside of the house, making a decently loud noise. "Crap!"

 

Axel looked at Roxas a bit confused. "Ummm sure..."

"Well? You wunna? We can go to..... This place called I think, Tech City. We can make vehicles there! C'mon!" He said putting his hover board on the ground.

 

Sighing in relief that she wasn't heard, Kairi began to slink off, seeing Roxas run out then return with some sort of hoverboard.

 

Roxas looked out the window and saw Kairi. "Kairi? What are you doing here?" He asked walking beside her.

 

"Hehe!" Kairi said turning red. "Nothing, nothing. just trying to find my way around this place, and I saw you guys, so I figured I'd try and catch up to ya...but then I kinda saw you two getting cozy, so I tried to get outta here to leave you two some privacy...sorry." Kairi said looking very apologetic.

 

"Oh, It's okay." He said reassuringly.

 

"Hehe," Kairi still looked very red. "Sorry, it's just I didn't know you two were...that close...ya know?"

 

"Um.... ya..... he.....he........ ya.... okay, see ya later Kairi." He said going back inside. "We don't have to go if you dont wunt to." He said.

 

Finding herself alone, Kairi quickly takes advantage of the silence and heads to the beach to clear her head.

 

Roxas sat on the couch with Axel thinking, "Does Kairi like me? I thought she liked Sora. But I am Sora. Just in a different way. Hmmm....." He leaned on Axel's shoulder thinking.

 

On the beach Kairi sat alone, still slightly red. Was I jealous? she thought to herself. No, that can't be. I love Sora...but I mean, he kinda is Sora...Kairi! she said, slapping herself across the face. You can't think like that! Who knows what'll happen...but still... Kairi sat there until the sun started to set, lost in thought about the blonde haired boy who reminded her of Sora.

 

Axel was gone so Roxas was sitting alone. He got up and saw Kairi still sitting at the beach. He walked over to her and sat next to her. "Hey Kairi. That was kinda wierd earlier huh? Ya, Axel and I are pretty close..... And ya, I know, I remind you of Sora..... So its hard to stay away...." He said turning scarlet red.

 

"I uh...." Kairi stuttered to herself. "Well...you do look a lot like him blondie." Kairi said cracking a small smile.

 

Roxas grinned and kinda shoved Kairi left. "Yeah, I know." He said looking at the darkened sky.

 

"It's weird being at a place without him..." Kairi said sighing, watching the slowly descending sun. "I guess I miss him, and I kinda thought of you as him for a bit..." Kairi said, turning back to Roxas. "But you and Roxas sure seem to be close." She said, shoving him back. "How'd that come about?"

 

"Well, we've been friends for a while.... so... ya know.... further step in relationship....." He said thinking for a sec. The he jumped up and ran to his house and back. He gave Kairi a poupu fruit. "Use it with Sora." He said still standing looking at the sunset.

 

"Heh, if he even wanted to share one with me." She said, tossing it playfully in the air. "Sometimes I wonder about that boy. Always running off without me and the like. That was why I came to this island, to see what it was like without him, see if we were really meant to be." Kairi sighed and locked her arms around her knees.

 

A small tear came from Roxas's eye suddenly. He wiped it and said, "You two are ment for each other. Trust me. He likes you. What do you think he spent doing after Destiney Island was eaten by darkness? Looking for you. Why? Cause he loves you. I'm him. I'd know." Roxas layed down.

 

Kairi layed back too, placing her head on Roxas's stomach. "Yeah, you are him..." She said, closing her eyes.
