Ed It Out

Roxas pulled out the syrup and finished up the pancakes. He walked over to his room were Kairi was. "Hey Kairi, want some breakfast?" He asked seeing she was awake.

 

"Breakfast sounds good." Kairi said smiling. Getting slowly out of bed, she made er way over to the table. "So what happened last night? And did you see anything when you were putting me in the bed?" Kairi said, looking at the ground and turning red.

 

Roxas laughed and turned red, "No, I didn't." He said putting a plate with pancakes on it. "Bacon or sosauge?" He asked.

 

"How about a bit of both? Bacon is good in syrup, but I love sausage!" Kairi said, grabbing a few pancakes and putting them on her plate.

 

Roxas brought a plate with bacon and sasauge in and set them on the table. He started to eat and looked out the window. "Huh, I thought Axel was going to be here by now." He said eating somemore.

 

Swallowing suddenly and choking on some of her food, Kairi began to cough. Once she got her fit under control, she looked up at Roxas and said through tear strained eyes, "Axel is coming by? Won't he be upset that I was here all night?"

 

Axel, who had just fallen asleep on the recliner chair, was obviously ignored. He opened his green eyes and started to stretch his arms. He was wearing the locket Roxas gave him and his trench coat. He looked behind the chair and saw both Roxas and Kairi. "Oh hey Kairi!" Axel said not knowing what Roxas did last night.

 

"Hey Axel!" Kairi said, trying to not look embarrased. "How long you been there?"

 

"Ummm... since Roxas, rudely, left me here so I just moved over to this chair and fell asleep waiting." Axel said sighing. "So how long have you been here?" He raised his eyebrows.

 

"Well...uh...I;m not sure myself...I kinda passed out last night...and I'm not sure how long it's been..." Kairi mumbled, looking at the ground.

 

"Why would you pass out?" He said tilting his head.

 

"Me and Roxas were out at the beach when this lion attacked us...and well...wen Roxas killed it....the whole thing kinda freaked me out....so I passed out, and I'm guessing that Roxas brought me back here..." Kairi said, stll looking at the ground.

 

Axel got up out of the chair. "Why were you guys on the beach?"

 

"No, no, no! It wasn't anything like that! I was missing Sora, and Roxas was comforting me." Kairi said, throwing her arms up defensevily.

 

"Missing Sora?" Axel chuckled a bit, then got a bit serious. "I don't want you being alone with him anymore." He whispered. "Got it Memorized?"

 

"I got it, I got it." Kairi said. Stupid Red hed... she thought to herself, but thought better of saying anything, knowing she didn't stand a chance against Axel. We'll just see what happens... "Well, so long as we're all here, have some pancakes?"

 

"Ehh sure." He walked up to the table and sat down. "So what else do we have to eat?"

 

"Well, Roxas made Pancakes, bacon, and sausages. But if you all want, I can make some eggs." Kairi said, stuffing some pancake into her mouth.

 

"Eggs sounds good." Axel smiled.
