Hopefully something bad isn't happening, but here we go. So let's say that I'm in a program in university that I changed to mid-way. The program requirements keep changing every year. So if I changed to the program in let's say my 2nd year, can I still use the program requirements of the previous year since I've been a part of the university since then? I've been led to believe that that's the case before, but now I am so worried and the offices at the uni are closed so I can't ask them ****. help!

Dunno about Canada but here the course requirements for your major remain the same as when you first signed up. So if I went into a liberal arts major in 2009 and that required me to take three math courses, but in 2010 they changed that to four math courses, I would still only have to take three for my degree, because those are the terms I originally agreed to.

That of course (pun intended) requires you to keep track of what you agreed to when you entered your major, and probably varies on a country to country or even school to school basis, so I'd talk to an adviser if you can.

Well the thing I agreed to was in summer 2010. I only need one more course for completing the fall 2009/winter 2010 requirements. So this might mean I'm screwed cause I cannot at all get the courses for the summer 2010 requirements since they're not even offered any more.

There's no grandfather clause, so you either meet the reqs that year or you do not.
