First teased at the end of 2017, Atlus has now announced Etrian Odyssey X for the Nintendo 3DS! (*pronounced Etrian Odyssey Cross) Etrian Odyssey X is a culmination and a celebration of the entire Etrian Odyssey series, from the first game on the DS in 2007 to now. It will also be the series' final game on the 3DS. It features a whopping nineteen classes to choose from, eighteen of them coming from past games and one of them being brand-new. The game will also include the character customization from Etrian Odyssey V, allowing you change your favorite characters' skin tones and eye and hair colors, in addition to giving them voices! Character subclassing is also returning after its absence from Etrian Odyssey V, for an unprecedented level of customization! Spoiler: Classes from Etrian Odyssey: Protector Medic Ronin Survivalist from Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard: Gunner War Magus from Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City: Sovereign Zodiac Ninja Farmer Shogun from Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan: Landsknecht Nightseeker Arcanist Imperial from Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth: Harbinger Pugilist from Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl: Highlander new, for Etrian Odyssey X: Hero The game will also see characters traveling the world via skyship that houses an entire city, allowing you to explore all sorts of new (and old!) dungeons! NPCs from the series' past will also make comebacks, including Wiglaf from Etrian Odyssey IV, Shilleka from Etrian Odyssey, and Edie from Etrian Odyssey III!
