Excuses For Not Stopping At Stop Signs

I lol'd quite a bit.

# I slid through a stop.
# I sort of stopped.
# I just didn’t want to stop.
# I stopped, but not completely.
# I didn’t stop long enough.
# I sloppily stopped.
# I temporarily stopped.
# I didn’t see the stop.
# I almost stopped.
# I made a fast stop
# I thought I would stop twice at the next stop
# I didn’t stop because my house is two blocks away.
# I made a rolling stop.
# I stopped a little bit.
# I just coasted through the stop.
# I made a quick stop.
# I ran the stop because I was mad.
# My wife swore I stopped.
# It was a 4-way stop. I knew the three others would stop so I ran the stop.

 

"My" and "It" were the Combo Breakers.

 

Another

A hesitant driver, waiting for a traffic jam to clear, came to a complete stop on the freeway ramp. The traffic thinned, but the driver still waited. Finally, a furious voice from the vehicle behind him cried, "The sign says 'Yield', not 'Give Up!'"

 

I'll keep that in mind when I take driving lessons. : D
