Facebook updated to Timeline

This has always pissed me off to no end, and I refuse to install any news app. It's just silly.

 

That alone could have made me switch over.

If only everyone else would switch over as well.

Then you have nothing to lose by switching over.

I actually prefer Google+, but aside from a few of my friends, no one else I know uses it.

They said they'd update everyone by the end of February 2012 >.< well that went down the drain quickly.

 

I actually think the Timeline works pretty well if you're using it well. For me it's basically my Wall with an extra picture at the top and more of my posts in the same amount of space. Some things don't work too well, but alright. WHY CAN'T I HIDE MY COVER PHOTO FROM STRANGERS?

 

Um... What?

 

My cover photo can basically be a second profile picture if I want. And all of my posts are shown on two sides of the screen instead of just going down in a row, allowing more of my posts to be shown on my profile.

 

Why Facebook is still functioning after The Social Network, I don't know.

 

That's not why I, or anyone else, hates timeline. It's because of the TIMELINE ITSELF, not the COVER PHOTO.

 

Because most people don't care.

 

Pretty much every single human travesty can be blamed on this fact.

 

Kinda hard to dissuade the use of a social network that a vast amount of people use over any other social network, regardless of what problems it has.

 

My one friend tried to get everyone to switch over G+. They all made accounts, and everyone was probably around for like a week consistently, but it ended fast and everyone went back to Facebook.
