Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas heard Sora's words and felt his expression turn into one of excitement, a grin forming on his face. He raced after Sora, disappearing into the dining room.

Kairi took that as her cue, the girl glancing at the dining room doorway before turning from the sink. She hurried out of the kitchen and went toward the living room, passing Ty in the hallway.

 

Namine chuckled softly, turning back to her mug of hot chocolate. She had finished it, and she saw that the boys had also finished theirs. She took all of them to the sink and set them in there, starting to wash them out.

Sora started searching, scanning over all the tables with his eyes. He didn't see anything, but Roxas knew Namine's house better than he did. Surely the blond could find them in this room.

 

Roxas walked further into the room, traveling along the length of the dining room table and looking around. He even looked near the fancy china cabinet, hoping the brownies would somehow be there. He furrowed his eyebrows and turned his head to look at Sora. "Uh..."

Kairi could hear Ty panting behind her, the dog at her heels. She entered the living room and saw the brownies on a plate in the middle of the coffee table. She smiled slightly and glanced behind her as she went to pick them up. Once she had a hold of the plate, and all of the brownies clustered together, she looked around, wondering what she could do with them.

 

"...They're not in here," Sora said, saying what both he and Roxas were thinking. Wow, Namine had really fooled them. But if the brownies weren't in the dining room or kitchen, where would they be?

 

Roxas lifted his hand to scratch the side of his head, looking back toward the doorway that led to the kitchen. Namine lied, which meant the brownies were somewhere else. But where?

Kairi got an idea. She traveled through the living room and back the way she came, entering the kitchen. She saw Namine at the sink but didn't stop what she was doing. Kairi approached the fridge and cleared a small space for the plate of brownies, knowing that the boys already figured they weren't in the kitchen. That also meant they wouldn't look in the same place twice.

 

Sora entered the kitchen, seeing Namine by the sink. "Alright, Namine, where are they?" he asked, arching a brow and folding his arms. He and Roxas had searched for a while, and now he felt as if this search was pointless. He wanted some brownies!

Namine turned around, ignoring Kairi and the brownies by the fridge to look at Sora. She shrugged lightly, fighting the smile that was forming on her lips. He couldn't get the information out of her, and Roxas couldn't either...unless he did "tickle-torture."

 

Roxas came in behind Sora, leaning against the doorway with furrowed eyebrows. He noticed Kairi by the fridge, but didn't think too much of it. Instead, he let his gaze linger on Namine. "Liar," he said simply, though humor was present in his eyes.

Kairi bit her lip to hide her smile, leaning up from the fridge and shutting it. If anybody asked, she was just looking for a snack.

 

Namine smiled shyly, meeting Roxas's gaze before she turned back to the dishes in the sink. She grabbed a sponge and started cleaning them once again, leaving the boys to think what they wanted.

 

Roxas narrowed his eyes slightly when Namine didn't say anything, and instead focused on the redhead next to the fridge. "Kairi..." he said, trying to drag it out of her.

Kairi shrugged and shook her head, successfully hiding her smile as she went to take her seat back at the table. She plopped down in the chair and started looking through the magazine again.

 

Sora turned to Roxas, glancing at Namine briefly before that. "I think you can get it out of Namine," he said in a soft voice, the brunet pretty sure that neither of the girls could hear him. Roxas knew Namine's weaknesses; perhaps he could use it to his advantage.

 

Roxas looked from Sora to the blonde girl at the sink and then back again. He suddenly smiled, an idea on his mind. He pushed himself off the wall and moved toward the girl at the sink. "Namine, you're making me do this," he said, smirking. She wasn't going to like what he was about to do, but it was the consequence she had to face for hiding the brownies.

 

Namine left the dishes alone for a moment, picking up a towel and drying her hands off while turning around to see Roxas. "Do what?" she asked immediately, concerned. If it was what she was thinking of, then things were about to take a turn, and definitely not in a good direction.

 

Roxas was only a few feet from Namine, and now that she was facing him, he knew he had to act quickly. His footsteps quickened and he was in front of her in only a second, the boy immediately beginning to tickle the girl's sides.

 

Namine's eyes widened, the girl immediately lowering her head and giggling when Roxas tickled her. No! she thought, trying to squirm out of it. This was what she had been fearing earlier, and she didn't like that it was a reality now. This was so unfair!

 

Roxas started chuckling at Namine's soft laughter, continuing to tickle her. "Spill!" he ordered, though his laughter made his attempt at being demanding fail. He wiggled his fingers along her sides, not showing any mercy.

Kairi looked up from her magazine and watched in amusement. She felt a smile stretch across her lips, finding it hard not to laugh at the couple. She already had a feeling that Namine would crack.

 

"Roxas!" Namine squeaked through her laughter, the girl feeling him tickling her relentlessly. She brought up her hands and gripped his arms, trying to get him off and remain steady at the same time. He knew how much she hated being tickled, which was why she would want him to stop as soon as possible. But she wasn't ready to spill the beans just yet.

 

Roxas only laughed, continuing to tickle Namine despite her efforts. He wasn't letting up until he found out where those brownies were. He was too determined to give up now.

 

"I didn't hide them!" Namine cried through her laughter, leaning towards Roxas a little more when his tickling continued. She laughed harder, shutting her eyes as the tickle-torture continued.

 

"Oh yeah? Then who did?" Roxas asked, amusement obvious in his voice as he continued to tickle his girlfriend. They were obviously hidden, and who else could have done it other than her?

 

Namine shook her head, laughing too hard to answer the question. Kairi hadn't even "hid" them; they were in an obvious place--the fridge. But even if she wanted to say it, Roxas was tickling her too much for her to speak at that moment.
