Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas tickled Namine for a few more seconds before wrapping one arm around her, the other hand out and ready to tickle her if necessary. "Is all of this torture really worth not telling us where you hid the brownies?" he asked, a smirk on his lips. He was going to win; he wasn't going to give up until he did.

 

Namine leaned into Roxas, her head on his shoulder as she tried to catch her breath. "They're...in the fridge," she said breathlessly, wrapping one of her arms around Roxas as she shut her eyes. She was sad to give up the location, but she couldn't take any more tickling.

Sora smirked. The fridge, huh? He would check it out, since Roxas had his hands full at the moment. He started over, looking forward to eating the snack.

 

Roxas didn't let go of Namine, even if she did tell him where the brownies were. The spot actually surprised him. He checked it before, and there weren't any in there.

Kairi bit her lip to hide her growing smile. The boys had no idea what Namine had told her to do, and what she had done.

 

Namine exhaled a breath, her eyes staying shut as Roxas kept his arm around her. She felt bad for spilling the truth, but at least the boys didn't know that Kairi had a part in all of this.

Sora opened the fridge, and there they were, right in the open. "Here they are," he said to Roxas, pulling out the plate and shutting the fridge door. He didn't see how Roxas missed them before; they were in plain sight.

 

Roxas blinked in shock, his grip on Namine loosening. "What? Seriously?" he asked. No way. They weren't there before. He made sure of it!

Kairi focused her attention back on her magazine, not wanting to give away the fact that she had put them there. Oh well, she'd let the boys think what they wanted.

 

Sora shrugged slightly, holding out the plate of brownies. He brought up a hand and grabbed one of them, sticking it in his mouth and chewing a bit out of it. "Yeah, they were in plain sight," he said, still chewing as he spoke. He smiled at the deliciousness, looking down at the brownie in his hand.

 

Roxas arched an eyebrow and looked to Namine, confusion in his eyes. "You moved them, didn't you?" he said. He knew that they weren't in the fridge before. He was positive.

 

Namine shook her head against Roxas's shoulder. "I told you I didn't hide them," she said softly, still trying to catch her breath. She hadn't made any effort to conceal the snack foods, and she doubted that Roxas and Sora would figure out that Kairi was the one who did it.

 

Roxas looked back to the plate of brownies, using his free hand to scratch the back of his head. "Huh," he said without thought. Well, he guessed it didn't matter now that they found them.

 

Namine set a hand on Roxas's shoulder, her other one around his back. She was glad Roxas didn't think things through further, because then Kairi would have gotten into trouble. Even if Namine had gone through tickle-torture because of her friend's actions, she didn't want Kairi to experience the same thing.

 

Roxas lowered his arm, looking down at the girl he was still holding. Her cheeks were flushed, probably because he had tickle-tortured her a little too much. He really had been desperate for those brownies, and he still was. He turned his head sharply to look at Sora, wanting some of the chocolate treats.

 

"Mm, Roxas, these are good," Sora said, finishing off another brownie. "Thanks for doing the dirty work so I could get my hands on them before you." Since his friend was holding the girl he had tickled, Sora had the brownies all to himself.

 

"Don't you dare eat all of those!" Roxas ordered, remembering the last time they got the brownies from Kairi. Sora had eaten a majority of them. This time, Roxas was going to make sure he had a fair share himself. After all, they were his girlfriend's, and he helped find the hiding spot.

 

Sora chuckled lightly, picking up another browning and eating it. "Sorry, Roxas," he said around the food. He wasn't really sorry; he had more of the delicious snack to himself now. Later, he would have to thank Namine for being so susceptible to "tickle-torture."

 

Roxas growled under his breath. "When she lets go of me, those are mine," he told Sora, pointing at the plate of brownies with his free hand. He didn't want to be rude and make Namine let go of him for a snack. Besides, if he didn't get any, he was sure she would make it up to him by making some more. Right?

 

Sora stopped eating for a moment, setting the plate of brownies on the counter next to him. "Looks like you tickled her a little too much," he stated, seeing that her cheeks were rosy and she was still leaning into Roxas. Of course, he wasn't going to complain; it meant he got more brownies for himself. Speaking of...he picked up his half-eaten brownie and started eating it again.

 

Roxas sighed softly and turned his eyes down to the girl at his side. His hand moved slightly on her waist, seeing that she was still a little flushed. Maybe I should be a little easier on her next time, he thought sheepishly.

 

Namine exhaled a breath through her nose, feeling Roxas's other arm come around her waste. She was mostly better, though she still felt a little unsteady on her feet. She was glad Roxas hadn't just run off to the brownies, which she had half-expected him to do.

 

Roxas's eyes softened at the expression against Namine's features, the boy tilting his head to the side slightly. "You okay?" he asked her softly, not caring about the brownies anymore. With one arm around her back and the other hand on her waist, he was sure that she wasn't going to fall. But by her expression, she looked like she could.

 

Namine nodded against his shoulder, though she didn't quite feel right. "Just a little...dizzy," she said softly, keeping her eyes shut. She didn't know why she felt that way, and she was wishing that the feeling would disappear so she could release Roxas and let him eat some brownies.
