Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas frowned slightly. "Do you wanna go lay down?" he asked. She certainly didn't look well, and if she was lightheaded, being on her feet wasn't the best choice. He was glad he had a hold of her, not liking the thought of her falling.

 

Namine shook her head against Roxas's shoulder, opening her eyes and looking up at him. "Maybe we could all sit in the living room?" she suggested. If she was sitting down, then she would probably feel better. And they could all watch television or something, and everything would be normal.

 

Roxas nodded once and turned his head to look at Sora and Kairi. "Hey guys," he said. "You want to watch some tv or something?" He didn't really care what they did. Namine wanted to sit down, so he was at least going to do that for her.

Kairi looked up from the magazine she had been looking over, her eyes finding Roxas. "Sure," she said, nodding.

 

Sora nodded, picking up the plate of brownies off the counter. He had stopped eating them when he noticed Roxas concerned over Namine, the brunet deciding to be polite and save some for his friend. "I'll bring these to the living room," he said to Roxas.

 

"'Kay," Roxas responded, nodding to Sora before turning his eyes back to Namine. "C'mon," he urged her gently, moving his hand from her waist. However, he kept his arm around her back in case she was still as dizzy as before.

 

Namine released Roxas, taking her hand off of his shoulder as she withdrew a little bit. She could walk, she knew she could. Or rather, she hoped she could. Why was she so dizzy? She started forward, aware that Roxas's arm was still around her shoulders in case she was a little unsteady.

 

Roxas loosened his hold on Namine slightly as she started to walk, the boy only a step behind her. If she seemed to be walking well enough on her own, he would let go completely. Until then, he would steady her.

 

Namine blinked, looking down at the ground when she felt dizzy. She brought a hand to her head, tucking back her hair. She felt pretty lightheaded, but she didn't want her friends to be concerned. Besides, she was sure that once she was sitting down, she would feel better.

 

Kairi got up from her spot at the table, pushing her chair in slightly before turning around. She started to follow Roxas and Namine out of the room, seeing that her best friend didn't look so good.

 

Sora followed behind Kairi, taking the rear of the group. He had noticed that Namine didn't appear too good, so before he left the kitchen, he turned around and went into the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water for her. He then shut the door behind him, walking in the direction his friends had gone in.

 

Roxas had one hand lightly resting on Namine's back, the boy guiding her as they walked toward the living room. He was only a step behind her, not that he wanted to be much farther away when she appeared so bad. He felt guilty; maybe if he hadn't tickled her so much, she wouldn't be as dizzy. Roxas could only guess it was from a lack of air during the time.

 

Namine saw Ty standing in the living room doorway, wagging his tail expectantly when the four teens appeared in his vision. However, Namine couldn't pay attention to him right now. She glanced at her loyal pet before she looked back down at the floor, entering the living room. The couch was only a few steps away, so she wasn't about to let herself fall down now.

 

Kairi walked behind Roxas, glancing over her shoulder at Sora. She then looked forward again, worried about Namine. She had been fine minutes earlier. She wondered what was wrong.

 

Namine reached the couch before Roxas did, the girl having felt his hand on her back the whole time they had been walking. She looked down at the sofa before she lowered herself down onto it, sitting down before she could worry about her dizziness any longer.

 

Roxas sat down next to Namine wordlessly, reaching for the remote on the coffee table in front of him. Watching tv would hopefully distract Namine and interest her, and hopefully help her feel better. He knew he always felt better when he found a good show to distract him from his problems.

Kairi approached the loveseat near the couch Roxas and Namine now occupied, the redhead wanting to sit next to her boyfriend as well.

 

Sora entered the room last, not heading for the loveseat right away. He bent down and sat the brownies on the coffee table for everyone to eat, the teen proud that he had left enough for his friends. After that, he set down the unopened bottle of water, sitting it in front of Namine more than Roxas before he went to the seat his girlfriend occupied and sat next to her.

 

Roxas turned on the tv and decided that the channel it was on now was interesting enough, a comedy on. He set down the remote on the couch next to him before turning his gaze to Namine, seeing if she was alright. After this, he knew one thing: there wouldn't be any tickling for a while. To him, that was the cause of this, and he wasn't going to make it happen again.

 

Namine felt a pair of eyes on her--no, two pairs. She shifted her gaze to Ty approaching her, the dog wagging his tail and looking up at her with big eyes. A soft smile appeared on her lips, the girl lifting a hand and setting it on Ty's head when he stuck his head over her lap. She lightly petted him, feeling the softness of his fur against her hand.

 

Roxas glanced at Ty and then at Namine, seeing her expression from a side-view. By that alone he could see that Ty's presence had made her happier, and he was glad.

 

After a few moments, Ty left Namine alone, silently laying down on her feet. That was something he often did to people when they were in need of something. She looked down at him, a single thought crossing her mind: Smart dog.
