Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas nodded slightly in acknowledgement, walking through the garden then. He continued to follow the traces the girls left behind until he saw the tree house. He looked up at it as he approached it, trying to see any sign of the girls inside.

 

Namine and Kairi sat in the treehouse quietly, the ladder already pulled up. She had thought she heard the boys coming through, so the girls had tried to hide themselves, though it was hard to do in such an open treehouse.

 

"Hey!" Roxas called up, stopping a few feet from the base of the tree, that way he could look up at the girls who so slyly sneaked away. His blue eyes caught some red against the wood of the tree house and he knew it was Kairi.

Kairi looked to Namine at the call, aware that their attempt at hiding was futile. The boys found them. She peeked her head around the corner, having seen that Roxas's eyes were trained on her. Sure enough, Sora was right next to him. Not surprising.

 

Namine came out of hiding when Kairi did, the blonde peeking her head out and seeing Roxas and Sora on the ground. She smiled sheepishly, bringing up a hand and waving to the two boys on the ground. They had found them, but that wasn't too surprising, since Namine had pulled this stunt before.

Sora arched a brow at Kairi, his arms folded across his chest as he looked at her. He couldn't believe the girls had managed to sneak out, but now it didn't really matter; they couldn't keep that camera away from the boys forever.

 

Kairi flashed a smile Sora's way, seeing his look. "Hi guys," she said. They didn't look happy, probably because they left without their knowledge. Oh well.

Roxas smirked, arching an eyebrow at both girls. However, his eyes mainly focused on Namine. "This again?" he called up. "You're not gonna make a habit out of this, are you?" Chasing his girlfriend to her treehouse was interesting, but this was the second time within a month or so that she did this. He was wondering if it was going to keep up, and use it against him to keep things from him. Like the camera, which he was still in hot pursuit of.

 

Namine smiled lightly, feeling the backpack and the camera still on her back. "If I do make this a habit, I'm going to need to find a new hiding place," she said, a few giggles leaving her lips. She was surprised it had taken Roxas this long to figure out where they were, but she knew that next time, she wouldn't be so lucky.

 

Roxas tilted his head to the side. Yeah, she definitely was. He wasn't going to fall for this again. His eyes left Namine and moved down to the trunk of the tree, where the ladder should have been. "And I see you pulled the ladder," he pointed out then, looking back up at her. That wasn't going to stop him, not today.

 

"Of course," Namine responded with a nod, her smile staying present on her lips. If she had left the ladder down, then the boys would have stormed right in. That would have been awful, since they would easily take away the camera. True, Kairi had the actual memory card with the footage, but the boys didn't know that.

 

"I think you seriously underestimate us," Roxas said, motioning to Sora standing next to him. Once his words left his mouth, he looked to his best friend. The girls honestly thought a missing ladder was going to stop them from getting that footage? Unlikely.

 

Sora came over to Roxas, immediately seeing the look in his best friend's eyes. Yeah, he knew what Roxas was thinking, and he agreed that they would work together to get that footage back. He nodded wordlessly, knowing what he needed to do.

 

Roxas smirked slightly and nodded, walking a few steps over to be closer to the tree. He had an idea, and he felt Sora had the same one in mind.

Kairi watched the boys curiously, seeing Roxas move first. What were they going to do? They couldn't get up there, could they?

 

Sora took a few steps back, Roxas's actions confirming that they were thinking the same thing. He got himself in the position he needed to be in, the brunet waiting for Roxas to let him know he was ready.

 

Roxas put a leg behind him slightly, the boy bending his knees as he held out his hands. They were close together, prepared for what was next. The blond nodded to Sora, ready.

 

Sora nodded and got a running start, approaching Roxas quickly. When he reached his friend, he did a small jump, his foot coming in contact with Roxas's hands.

 

Roxas grunted slightly at the weight that was suddenly applied to his hands, but he used his strength to lift them anyway. At the same time he gave Sora a boost, planning on sending him to one of the branches of the tree, which connected to the tree house.

 

Sora felt the boost that Roxas gave him and he jumped a little bit himself, coming up to a larger tree branch near the treehouse. He landed safely on his feet, the brunet perfectly balanced. He grinned, instantly starting towards the treehouse.

Namine gasped, her eyes wandering to Kairi when she saw that Sora was approaching their area. What were they supposed to do now?!

 

Kairi met Namine's gaze instantly. Well, she definitely hadn't planned on that happening. What were they going to do? Sora was on his way toward them!

Roxas put his fists to his hips when the plan worked successfully, the boy smirking up at the girls. It was obvious now that they hadn't given up.

 

Sora climbed in through the treehouse door, his eyes immediately finding the two girls. "Hi guys," he said with a smile. "Now, about that recording..." He looked to Namine and then Kairi, arching a brow expectantly while keeping a smirk on his lips.

 

Kairi pushed herself up from her seat on the floor, brushing herself off. Her hand briefly rubbed over her pocket, reminding her that she had the memory card in her pocket. But the boys didn't know about that. "Um..." she started nervously. What where they going to do now?

 

Sora arched a brow, seeing that the girls weren't going to give in easily. He rose to his feet when Kairi did, taking two steps forward and gripping her upper arm before she could think about getting away. He also reached for Namine, but she avoided him, moving to the other side of the treehouse.

Namine had yelped when Sora tried to grab her, but her reflexes had her move away from him. She was right by a window now, and she started climbing out, aware that Sora was occupied with Kairi.
