Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Nathaniel finally found the opportunity to suck in a breath, at the same time rolling backwards and rising to his feet. He held his sword out in front of him, his shield attached to his forearm as he held it at the ready.

 

While Nathaniel had been recovering, Sora was focusing on a strong attack, one that he regularly used in battle now. He sent a fiery charge through the Kingdom Key before he brought back his arm and chucked it at Nathaniel, a grunt leaving his lips as he performed the action.

 

Nathaniel swiftly moved his arm just as the Keyblade was about to reach him. He felt it impact his shield hard, but it didn't hurt him other than the charge being a little overwhelming.

 

Sora frowned, seeing his Keyblade fall to the ground. That was one of his most powerful attacks, and Nathaniel just deflected it. Great. However, he didn't' let the failure get to him. He summoned the blade back into his hand and charged, a battle cry leaving his lips.

 

Nathaniel lowered his shield just as he heard the battle cry, seeing Sora charging at him with incredible speed. The Prince focused on his Darkness and welcomed the power it brought, holding his sword tightly in preparation to go to combat with Sora.

 

Sora slashed at Nathaniel with both Keyblades, using his speed and momentum to his advantage with powering the attack up. He had to stay on the offensive; he couldn't allow Nathaniel to get an advantage over him like what had happened earlier.

 

Nathaniel tried his best to deflect both Keyblades, using his shield to block one and his sword to parry the other. He grunted and pushed forward with both arms, hoping to get Sora off of him so he could attack.

 

Sora grunted, setting his feet so that he could put force back on Nathaniel. His feet slid slightly on the ground, but other than that, he held his ground, not allowing his enemy to get a huge advantage.

 

Nathaniel set his jaw as he pushed forward, his feet dug into the ground of the Realm. He needed to absorb more power, even if things so far weren't so bad for him right now. It was better to have more than just one advantage.

 

Sora felt the pressure on him strengthen, forcing him to slide his feet on the ground a little bit. The Realm of Darkness really was empowering Nathaniel, so much so that Sora was actually concerned about how this battle could end.

 

Nathaniel grunted slightly as he put all his strength into his shield and sword, slowly picking up a foot and putting it a step further into the ground. So far, he was winning this battle. That was definitely good for him, and his comrades.

 

Sora felt the pressure overwhelm him, and he had no choice but to retreat. He pushed off Nathaniel's weapons and jumped back, thankfully not sustaining any injuries when he performed the move. He bent over slightly as he tried to catch his breath, his piercing blue eyes on Nathaniel.

 

Nathaniel straightened once Sora backed off, the teen prince smirking slightly in triumph. He lowered his shield and sword to his sides, summoning the dark power to him and feeling it begin to coat him from the ground up. "Don't give up just yet," he taunted. "I have a feeling the next few minutes will be fun." His smirk turned into an evil smile as he kept his weaponry lowered, the darkness sliding over his torso now.

 

Sora cautiously took a few steps back, Keyblades at his sides slightly but still ready to handle an attack. Though the Realm of Darkness made his sense of the darkness more dim when it came to his opponents, he was able to figure out what Nathaniel had in mind now that he was summoning more darkness to him.

 

Nathaniel closed his eyes once the darkness slid over his neck, welcoming the power that was now covering him from head to toe. He felt it grow within him until the familiar sense of transforming reached him, and he started to turn into his dragon form. He opened his piercing green eyes, now looking down at the small human below him. He bared his teeth and roared, darkness slithering continuously over his silver scales.

Riku's eyes widened at the cry, the boy a few feet from Ansem and his Guardian and facing the direction of Sora's battle. A dragon? He felt alarm course through his body at the sight. Sora had to fight that?

 

Ansem saw that Riku was distracted, and he took it as his opportunity. "Submit!" he cried, his Guardian lunging at Riku and trying to grab him. It was a desperate move on his part, but he was putting everything he had into this fight. Riku was winning, and Ansem wasn't about to go down without a fight.

 

Riku's attention turned to Ansem at the cry, but it was too late. He felt the Guardian grab him tightly, grunting at the grasp. He knew better than to let himself get distracted!

 

Ansem smirked, seeing his Guardian get a secure grip on Riku. He swung his staff at Riku's chest, putting a lot of might into the attack. Now was his chance to turn things around, and he wasn't going to let that opportunity go to waste.

 

Riku closed his eyes tightly, seeing Ansem coming at him. Just after he shut his eyes, he felt the impact the staff made against his chest, making him cry out in pain.

 

Ansem pulled back his staff and swung at Riku again, mentally ordering his Guardian to keep a tight hold on Riku. Not only would it give him the chance to attack, but Ansem was also feeling pleasure with causing the silver-haired teen pain.
