Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas had caught Jeff turn just a minute ago, and as he approached the spot, he slowed his pace. When he reached the spot and came to a halt, he realized it was another alley. Jeff picked an alley? Wise choice, actually. Even though Roxas didn't care who saw the fight, Jeff must have if he picked this.

Nathan slowed when Roxas did, stopping next to the blond. He saw the alley in front of them now, and he turned his eyes to Kairi to make sure she was alright. She stopped running then and came to a stop by them, and he noticed that she was fine. His eyes then darted to Namine as well. When he saw she was still with them, he turned his attention back to the matter at hand.

Roxas knew Jeff was inside the alley, and he turned his attention briefly to the guy standing next to him. "Block the other side," he said. "I have this one." If Jeff tried to make a break for it, it wasn't going to work. Not when both openings to the alley were blocked off.

Nathan nodded and turned his head to his girlfriend. "Kairi. With me," he said, motioning with his head that they had to go around the corner and get on the other side.

Kairi nodded wordlessly at Nathan. She then looked from Roxas to Namine, putting a hand lightly on her best friend's shoulder before running off with Nathan.

 

Jeff moved towards the end of the alley opposite of the one he had entered, pacing slightly as he caught his breath. He was expecting Roxas to show up at any time, along with his beautiful girlfriend and those other two strangers. He only cared about one of them, for the time being. After he was done with Roxas, then he would turn his attention to Namine.

Namine noticed Kairi put a hand on her shoulder for a brief moment, but she didn't have time to respond before she was heading in the other direction. She couldn't have spoken, anyway. She was putting all her emotions on hold until all this was over and done with. It was what she had to do to make it through this whole thing.

 

Roxas's breathing was heavy, the boy standing outside the alley for a moment to catch his breath. This was it. Jeff was going to get punished for all he had done over the past two years, all he had ruined and corrupted. And if Roxas got hurt...he got hurt. It didn't matter what happened to him anyway; all that mattered was that Namine got left alone by this guy, and Roxas was going to make it happen. The boy looked out of the corner of his eye at the girl standing near him, and he took in a breath. Sorry, Namine. Roxas's focus turned forward, at the alley. His hands balled into fists and he walked into it, determination and rage fueling him, vengeance on his mind.

 

Namine noticed Roxas glance at her before he entered the alley, and after a second, she followed him in, staying a few footsteps behind him. She wasn't pleased to be there, but she was there despite that. Roxas couldn't face this alone, so that was why she was grateful he was allowing her, Nathan, and Kairi to be present.

Jeff heard footsteps and he turned, stopping his pacing when he noticed the two blonds entering the alley. He saw the look in Roxas' eyes, which was as fierce as he had expected. Except for the fact that there was even more hatred in them than the last time he had seen him in Namine's home. He didn't think it was possible to see more of that, but apparently, he had been mistaken.

 

Roxas didn't say anything as he walked into the alley. He stopped once he was a few feet in and only glared at the boy in front of him with hatred. It was his fault Namine was in danger in her own home. It was his fault Namine had to go to the hospital. It was his fault that Ty had to have surgeries. And it was his fault that he was in so much trouble now. Jeff had a very big price to pay, and Roxas hoped he knew that he wasn't going to come out of this unscathed.

Nathan made his way down the sidewalk around the block, seeing the same alleyway coming up. Kairi was a step or two behind him, and he was glad for that. He didn't want her getting in the line of fire. Nathan came to a stop on the other side of the alley, noticing that the jock was closer to their side than Roxas and Namine's.

 

Namine stopped when Roxas did, standing about two feet behind him. But she was over to the side slightly so that she could see Jeff. As much as she didn't want to see him, she knew better than to take her eyes off him. It was true she felt safe behind Roxas, but the sight of him made her feel uneasy.

Jeff turned his head when he heard people come towards the end of the alley, and he "hmphed" when he saw who they were. He stepped up to them, standing in front of the boy who was about the same height as he was. "Why are you helping him?" he asked, genuinely curious. "I haven't done anything to hurt either of you." At the mention of the other person, he shifted his gaze to Kairi, and then back to the other teen. He had an idea, but he needed Nathan off guard.

 

Nathan furrowed his eyebrows, not backing down to the jock. But he did become defensive when he looked at Kairi. "You shouldn't be worried about us," Nathan said, staring at Jeff. "You should be more worried about the person who has something to settle with you."

Roxas heard the words from where he was, and he tensed and became more angry that Jeff was antagonizing Nathan and Kairi. He didn't like that Jeff was bringing them into this. It was strictly between him and Roxas.

Kairi looked up at Jeff, then to Nathan when he spoke. She couldn't deny that she felt nervous around the guy. When he had looked at her, she became frightened. But she was also thankful Nathan was standing there with her. He wouldn't let anything happen to her...

 

Jeff lifted his hands in surrender, putting on a look that said he hadn't been rude towards Nathan, so he didn't deserve the defensive or hard tone of voice. He turned around and took one step forward to fool everyone into thinking he was going back to Roxas, but they couldn't have been more wrong. He spun around immediately, taking a quick step and grabbing Kairi by the arm. Before anybody could react, he had her hands behind her back and held her in front of him, facing slightly towards Kairi's boyfriend and Roxas and Namine at the same time so that he wasn't open on any sides. This'll be fun, he mused, a smirk threatening to appear on his lips.

 

Kairi gasped in surprise, and then cried out in fear and hurt at the tight grasp Jeff had on her arms. She struggled slightly, against him, but that only brought more pain to her arms; Jeff's grip was too tight.

Nathan's eyes widened in shock. "Kairi!" he cried instantly, stepping forward. How couldn't he have seen that coming? Jeff had been too close in the first place.

Roxas's eyes widened in surprise, but then he became enraged. "You coward!" he hollered, his fury showing in his voice. The boy instantly tightened his fists and growled slightly under his breath. Jeff had a way of using innocent girls to protect him, and it was a move of desperation in most cases, like with Namine. But what did Jeff think he could get away with? Two guys against one? He surely hadn't thought this over.

 

"Jeff, let her go!" Namine cried, taking a few steps forward so that she was about a foot in front of Roxas. She didn't care about herself, but Kairi was in trouble because Jeff had a feud with Namine and Roxas. It just wasn't fair! She couldn't just sit by and let Jeff hurt her like he had done to her.

Jeff turned to look at Roxas and Namine, hearing both of them shouting their protests. He shrugged slightly, though his grip on Kairi's wrists was firm. "Hey, I might as well have a little fun with this!" he exclaimed with a slight smirk. "You guys both know that I always get my fair share of fun whenever we see each other." That "fun" he was referring to was, of course, him injuring and verbally abusing Namine.

 

"This is between me and you! Kairi has nothing to do with this!" Roxas hollered down the alleyway, glaring at the jock. He could see the panic on Nathan's face from where he stood. But Roxas also saw that Namine had positioned herself ahead of him, which made him feel uneasy.

Kairi bit her lip, glancing between her friends as they hollered at Jeff in her defense. But his grasp was still hurting her, and she knew her wrists would bruise if he gripped her any harder.

 

Jeff shrugged slightly at Roxas' words. "Obviously she's involved now," he said, pointing out the obvious. Roxas had brought her into this when he allowed her to stay with him, so really, it was Roxas' fault if anything happened to her.

Namine stared down Jeff, eyes showing a look of fear for her friend but determination to get her out of this. She had one idea that could change the way things were working out. It was dangerous and risky, but it was a chance she had to take for the sake of her friend.

 

Roxas ground his teeth together in frustration, locking eyes with Kairi for a second before she looked away. He felt terrible now that she was brought into this mess. "You're such a coward, Jeff. When are you gonna grow up?" he spat, his voice dark and sour.

Nathan found himself growing angry the longer Kairi was in Jeff's hands. She locked eyes with him and he tried to remain calm for her sake.

Kairi stared at Nathan before she looked up to the boy that held her. She couldn't see him well, but it didn't matter; looking at him wouldn't change a thing. Her eyes instead rested on Roxas and Namine, her eyes full of fear. What was Jeff going to do to her?

 

Jeff let out a single laugh, his eyes landing on Namine. "What're you looking at?" he sneered. "You got something to say to me, baby?" Even though there were a few yards separating him from her and Roxas, he could see a certain look in her face, one of anger for her friend.

Namine clenched her hand in a fist at the nickname, but she stood her ground despite the frustration and taunting. "Take me instead," she said evenly, holding Jeff's glare. "Kairi has nothing to do with this, and besides, you'd have a lot more "fun" having me instead of her. Right?" She knew that Jeff couldn't turn down her proposition, because everything she said was true. Jeff would hurt her any time he had the chance, and he wouldn't turn down this opportunity she was giving him.

 

Kairi looked at her friend in surprise, but she shook her head. "No, Namine. Don't," she said, her voice slightly strained. She didn't want Namine getting into this guy's hands again.

Roxas's eyes widened, and he looked from Jeff to Namine. "Namine, no," he said to her. He didn't want Jeff getting his hands on her; he would only hurt her. Roxas wouldn't let that happen again.

 

Jeff loosened his grip on Kairi slightly in surprise, the offer not being expected. But of course, Namine had a point. He had the pleasure of causing her pain in the past, so why not do it all over again and gain more pleasure. "Alright," he said with a nod. "Come here, sweetheart."

Upon hearing the second nickname, Namine's other hand curled into a fist as well. But she didn't have much of a choice now; she wasn't about to back down. Kairi needed her to be strong, and so did Roxas and Nathan. If things went according to plan, Jeff would be in for a surprise.

 

Roxas's fists tightened and he furrowed his eyebrows at the blonde near him. "Namine," he said firmly. He was absolutely not going to allow this. He understood that Namine wanted to get Kairi away from Jeff, but so did he and Nathan. They would work something out; she didn't have to sacrifice herself.

Kairi glanced up at Jeff again, a look of disgust briefly making an appearance on her face. Baby? Sweetheart? Jeff really was a creep. How could Namine put herself in Kairi's place when he talked to her like that? The redhead lowered her head to look over at Namine, seeing that Roxas becoming even angrier, which was hard to do.

 

Namine wished she could tell Roxas that she wasn't really sacrificing herself, not like what he was thinking. But talking to him would gain unwanted attention by Jeff, and that in turn may have made him suspicious. She took a few steps forward, dragging her feet as she moved toward Jeff at a pace a little slower than a normal walk.

Jeff glanced at Roxas and then looked to Namine, pleased with himself even though he didn't do anything. Just by having Namine come to him, he was making Roxas more miserable. That was super in his eyes, and he couldn't wait to see how much angrier he could make Roxas when he actually held Namine against him.

 

Roxas watched Namine with hard eyes. What was she doing? He followed her, noticing how slow she walked, but then turned his gaze to Jeff. His eyes pierced the jock with so much hatred and wrath that he wished he could pummel the guy right now. But he didn't have that opportunity.

Kairi's eyes stayed on her friend, the girl sad that her friend was doing this. Actually, she was upset this had to happen at all. They were all having such a good time... And then this occurred.

 

Jeff shifted his grip on Kairi's wrists, holding them with one strong hand while the other one came up. "Stop," he ordered, showing the palm of his hand to the two blonds. Roxas must have thought he was an idiot if he was going to allow this "exchange" to happen with him standing right there. No way.

Namine came to a stop a few feet away from Jeff, aware that Roxas had followed her. Please, just trust me, she thought, wishing she could verbally say the words to Roxas. But it was simply impossible for that to occur at that moment.

"Roxas, back off," Jeff said, staring at the teen by Namine. Nothing was going to happen until he was a few more steps back. And if he didn't comply now, then when Jeff had Namine in his grasp, he would hurt her for her boyfriend's mistake.
