Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas grunted in pain from the kick, but opened his eyes in time to see Jeff's swinging fist. At the last second, Roxas ducked his head, using his position near Jeff's stomach to his advantage; he thrust into him, aiming to force the jock back into the wall much like he originally planned.

 

Jeff grunted, his fist missing its target. He felt himself being knocked back into the wall roughly, and it happened far too quickly for him to perform another attack of his own.

 

Roxas's veins were pumping with rage, his heart beating rapidly with adrenaline. He felt the impact through Jeff when he hit the wall, and Roxas pushed himself away from the guy, taking a few steps back in case he tried to retaliate. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Namine observing, and he wished she didn't have to see him so angry, but at the same time he just wanted to deal with Jeff. They had a score to settle.

 

Jeff was surprised when Roxas backed off, the teen taking it as a chance to recover. He took in a breath and then charged forward, a fist raised and ready to hit Roxas the moment he was in his range.

 

Roxas wasn't surprised; he was expecting something of the sort from Jeff. He didn't try to defend himself and he didn't try to dodge, instead he waited. Once Jeff was close enough, Roxas would pull his small stunt and hopefully catch the jock off guard.

 

Jeff charged forward, a cry leaving his lips as he swung his fist at Roxas' head. He wasn't going to give up in this fight, even if Roxas did seem to be a really strong opponent. He hated him so much...he would never forgive Roxas for everything he had done in the past.

 

Roxas dodged the hit, ducking his head, but he didn't just do that. As Jeff charged at him, the blond bent slightly, making it so Jeff would fumble and flip over his back from the momentum he put behind his swing. He'd done it enough times with the Heartless; it almost always worked.

 

The moment Roxas ducked, Jeff knew what the blond was trying to do. Smart kid, but he had a trick or two up his sleeve as well. He flipped over Roxas from the momentum, but he landed on his feet, stable as he lifted up a leg and kicked Roxas hard in the back.

 

Roxas instantly was sent forward, but he was light on his feet. He curved his body in so that when he hit the ground, he rolled into a crouched position. Roxas glanced over his shoulder at Jeff and slowly stood up, turning to face him with a hard glare in his blue eyes.

 

"Hmph." Jeff looked at Roxas, standing upright on his feet as he looked at the blond boy rising to his feet. That was a nice recovery from his attack; it had been especially excellent since Roxas hadn't been expecting the mood. As much as Jeff hated to admit it, Roxas was a skilled fighter.

 

Roxas stared at Jeff with his eyebrows furrowed angrily. "If I remember correctly, the last time we were in an alley, I just happened to beat you," he said darkly, though his voice was slightly taunting. "And yet you're trying again. A little pathetic, if you ask me." Did he really think he couldn't take a few hits? No less lose?

 

Jeff glared at Roxas, hands in fists by his side. "Those were different times," he responded, his voice dark as well. "Right now, you're the pathetic one, talking instead of fighting. You afraid?" he taunted, lips turning up in a slight smirk.

 

Roxas laughed and shook his head in disbelief, letting his eyes fall back on Jeff. "Come at me, Jeff," he said, motioning with his hands for the jock to run at him. He wore a smirk of his own. He definitely was not scared of Jeff; he took on much uglier and more powerful enemies.

Kairi watched in stunned silence, seeing a side of Roxas she had never witnessed before. He was so...different, and dark. It was weird to her, and added onto the list of reasons she couldn't stop watching the fight.

 

Jeff scoffed, wondering if he would charge at Roxas or not. It would set himself up if he weren't ready for whatever Roxas had in store, but he had enough faith in himself to take that risk. "Fine," Jeff said, his smirk fading but staying on his lips a little bit. He charged forward, having a few moves in mind that he could use to take down Roxas.

Namine watched the scene in front of her, hearing the words flying back and forth between Roxas and Jeff. She had just heard them go through this a few weeks ago, so it wasn't a huge deal to her. Of course, she wasn't enjoying this and she wanted more than anything just to go home, but that wish wasn't going to come true right now.

 

Roxas set his feet and positioned himself, ready for Jeff's attack. He knew plenty of moves to pull, but he figured he'd play with Jeff a little bit, tease him. The jock deserved it after all the "teasing" he had done to Roxas, torturing him by the way he treated Namine.

 

Jeff swung his foot at Roxas' legs, aiming to knock his legs out from underneath him. Whether that attack landed or not, he knew what he would do next. Roxas was in for a world of pain.

 

Roxas smirked. "Heh," he said, slightly amused. The boy grunted and pushed off his feet, dodging the attack and flipping backward. He landed on his feet nearby, not even fazed.

Nathan's eyes widened slightly at Roxas's move, not knowing that the kid could pull a stunt like that. Well, it seemed to work in his favor.

 

Jeff's eyes widened for a brief second, the teen expecting Roxas to dodge to the side. Well, no time to let up now! He charged forward again, aiming his shoulder so he would ram Roxas right into the wall.

 

Roxas knew that because of the lack of distance, he couldn't dodge Jeff's attack. He felt Jeff come in conctact with him, and the blond winced in pain when he collided with the brick wall behind him, his head hitting as well.

 

Jeff pulled back the shoulder that had been against Roxas, taking a half step back as he formed a fist with that hand and pulled back his arm, sending in a fist right for Roxas' face.
