Favorite Comic Book Villains

Well is a Vampire a villain just because he has to drink blood to survive, wouldn't you rather live than die? Galatice is the Anti-Hero more or less. And when they fight him, it's to stop him from surviving.

 

If vampires count, then I believe I have another favorite. This series is very much a guilty pleasure, based off of a soap opera and a soap opera starring a most deprived vampire no less. Sex deprived or blood deprived? At some points, I honestly cannot tell...

As for antiheroes, here's a cheer to everyone's (least!) favorite Robin - Jason Todd! But I liked him, despite his angst.

 

The lore of vampires is creative, varied, some survive by animal or synthetic blood, by sucking the blood and not choosing to kill, by feeling remorse for their actions, for wanting to change back to being human. You'd have to specify. Galactus only has the one true lore already created,that doesn't really waver.

Galactus is remorseless, never wanting to change, he simply follows the hunger and trusts in it completely. Just because he thinks he has a good reason doesn't make his destruction any less justifiable, makes him as villainous as anyone. And to say the least, the death of one human is a little insignificant compared to the power of the dark side! life of an entire planet. Which he consumes on a monthly basis.

But even if they fight him, he can't die, he always can come back. He is effectively a part of nature.

 

Anybody who says Jason is their least favorite Robin can suck a dick.

 

But we're not talking about Galactus. We're talking about Galatice.

 

I presume that most think so, given that most voted for his death. Majority won.

 

He's worth more then to be a singular.

I wouldn't necessarily say majority. The difference in vote was very small, with rumors circulating the majority of "Jason Dies" votes coming from one person. Not to mention, DC did receive a lot of backlash, both from within and outside of the concept. Though, I'd argue that the reason people wanted him dead in the first place is because he was handled badly since he's very popular in current times (though he's not a Robin in current times).

 

A bunch of people also thought they wouldn't even go through with it.

There's a funny rumor behind that. Allegedly one dude hated him so much as to rig a bunch of devices to send in death votes by the dozens. The final tally is close enough that a guy with enough tech and enough hate could have tipped the scale. And like Jeff said, the backlash was such that he was eventually brought back, courtesy of Ra's al Ghul. (I like how the Batverse actually has a known, established method of cheating death. Y'know, just in case.)
