I only kind of miss the trinity stamps and I miss the multiple allies with you all the time.... The DS and the PSP games Make it where you only have an ally once and a while... It would be cool to have allies all the time if YOU choose.

KHI Sora was significantly less overpowered than LM. Zantetsuken isn't that powerful in KH:FM. Nor can you perform it immediately after blocking. Or regain HP with each hit of the limits. I think. And to me, it's easier to hit the triangle button to time the hits than circle. I mean X. No, wait. I don't.

Oh, yeah. I loved 'em. Except that red one. You know which. Thank god they moved it in the Final Mix. I don't think so. In Days, the party members are always on the way. Dunno about BBS, though. There are only few moments when I'm glad I have party members. Unless they're dead.

They're best put to use when dying. It's incredibly helpful to have a boss go after them instead of me. Especially in the case of the Phantom.

That's pretty much it. The two useful abilities outside of limits that Don and Goofy have are Donald Cure and MP Gift. And Goofy doesn't even have MP Gift in KHII.

Too true, granted when goofy decides to attack he does well. The problem with that is it takes him like 15 seconds to build up the courage to charge and then he chickens out after two hits half the time. But MP gift is nice, especially since it breaks trinity limit. And it becomes really helpful with Phantom, effectively tripling your MP

Donald is basically a lost cause, hopefully curing you to save you a bit of MP, but more often curing himself or the other meat shield.

Here are the things I miss from KH, without reading the thread:
I miss the tech points, it gave me a reason to defend, which was a nice change of pace.
I miss the magic system, I miss not having to wait ages for my bar to fill up after using magic once.
I miss when the games had substance over flash, why does everything have to be so flashy? It just makes it boring. I could go through pretty much every battle in KH2 without pressing anything but X and more X.
And lastly, I miss when you got EXP from boss battles. Felt satisfying.

I also really miss the Gummi Ships from this game. The entire interface seemed a lot more coherent this time around, as opposed to the strange one in KH2. Guns facing forward couldn't shoot backwards, etc.

Kingdom Hearts was more enjoyable than kingdom hearts II in terms of battle and difficulty but kingdom hearts II excels in combat style. Me, i personally don't care for magic unless it's for healing but the Magic in BBS is superior to that of KH1 and KH2. Had kingdom hearts 2 had been as challenging as part 1, I think it would have excelled almost as well as BBS with the exception of multiple characters.

To be honest, I preferred the magic in Kingdom hearts 2, for example, reflect was my favourite spell which you don't get in KH1 (not that I can remember anyway). I think the main thing is Dodge roll. It's such a small thing but it helped me so much in KH1, you do get similar things but they aren't as effective normally. I can;t remember if yoy have tech points in any of the other games but they are surely useful. Apart from that, I think I prefer how KH2 was.

Well, there are a few things that I miss. For one thing, I missed getting EXP from bosses. I also kinda miss actually exploring, instead of just going "DERP I'M HERE NOW I GOTTA GO HERE DURR HURR."

KH2 gummis had a harsher learning curve but I generally liked it better once learned. But yes for some reason they removed several points of logic. I understand the guns, since people would be ready to break something with the camera shifts. But the others ones like engine direction should definitely have been held.

No way. If you want to shoot sideways, then you should have to place your guns sideways, or make the guns into turrets, or something believable.

I also thought the KH2 system was needlessly complex though.

I would personally agree with you, I'm just saying that you know that it would cause trouble for a lot of people. I was actually thinking more along the lines of they should be rotating the ship instead of having you shoot left, but then you hit a logic snag with the engines.

I really misshow the world were laid out. Like in Tarzan's world, inside the waterwall, it was a challenge getting up those cliffs, but now it's really straight forward. Like KH2 is really easy world layout now.

I agree to some extent. Playing KH now, I enjoy the jumping around but it got tedious after a while, I suppose I like both types of world layout for different reasons.

I really liked the mushroom heartless as well, like the rare truffles that you have to bounce in the air or the black fungud that just won't die xD or the white mushrooms.

I could never do those ones at all. To this day, I still don't know whether the White Mushrooms wanted me to hit them with the spell they were acting out, or to do the opposite. (Does the sweating Mushroom want to be hit by fire, or freeze?) Then when I did something to them, they'd change gestures at the last seconds. B|

I miss how Donald was able to use the same spells as Sora and not limited to just the main four. Him casting Aeroga on everyone and Graviga/Thundaga on the Heartless helps a lot.
