Final Fantasy Tactics is pissing me off

Seriously, the first time I blew through the game killing everything that got in my way. Now I'm replaying it and I'm right on the first few missions where you face off against 2 mages, 2 archers, and a knight or two and I'm getting ****ing owned like crazy. **** this **** I'm playing Patapon 2.

 

Final Fantasy Tactics is MADE to piss people off, silly.

 

You need to be about thier level. Rush the archer up on top. And then work the mages. If your level is similar to theres, (it usually isn't, there is like a 4 or 5 level jump between that mission and the previous), the Knights will be pushovers, and you can kill the annoying archer on top before he can hurt you.

The only threat would be the mages. However, one mage is positioned so far back, he is nuetralized till you kill at least 1 knight, the archer, and the other mage.

If you try to rush forward, there attack structure will collapse on you, and both mages and both archers will bombard you with magic and arrows while you take on the Knights headlong. Not a good position for you.

Run up the hill, and make them run to you. You can isolate them. Make sure you kill the mage on the right side of the screen. You can do this with ranged combat (bring archers of your own, they domainate that map from on top of the hill). Also Bring a Chemist and Keep everyone alive.

If you use those tactics its easy. But if you try to win with Squires and Chemist. Your done.
