Some of it, I stopped close to the beginning because I hated it. I believe I remember saying that I hated IX at the beginning of this thread, though I watched my sister play all the way through it.

Duodecim is a great game. Especially since it comes with the original Dissidia(in a modified form) anyways. SO MUCH MUSIC.

FFI has the best character development of any Final Fantasy. EVER. Black Mage is clearly the most realistic character we've ever seen. ...I don't know why I'm even saying this. >>

    Anyways, Type-0.

EDIT: I'll play it eventually. I just keep spending my paychecks on dumb things.

Oh man, i thought you weren't gonna get involved in the Final Fantasy arguments

Yes your grounds were that it was too hard, so really, you like the "easy" FF games, even though IX isn't even hard.

It was difficult. You had to grind like hell for every little thing in that game, and that's a pain in the ass. I can only stand grinding for a few levels before I get fed up.

Honestly, despite IX being my favourite Final Fantasy game, I would call it the easiest in the series. It was the first one I actually beat, despite being the fifth one I played.

You never had to grind in IX. VI had some on the other hand.

IX is a pretty good game but its beginning is incredible. Everything about it is beautiful. Favorite first hour of a final fantasy game.

    You have to grind...what?

It's like one of the only games in the series that a lvl 1 run is possible on it's that easy to beat.

My favourite Final Fantasy game of all time is Nintendogs.

Do you have any preference for setting, sir?

    Really?
II(IV) was the first one I ever beat. Then III(VI), then VII, VIII, and I hated IX, hated X, but still beat it, hated X-2, didn't bother with XI, and I didn't like XII at all, so I didn't play more than half.

    You're right. I'm a terrible gamer.

That I will agree on. It was beautiful to look at.

I'm not even mocking, you literally can run a Lvl 1 run of FFIX no problem, check youtube.

The bosses scale with you in the game, so it's literally never too hard.

But how can you beat bosses without leveling up, the regular monsters would kill you easily. You'd have to have cheats to make yourself invisible to the regular monsters, or use items to make them not run into you, or make yourself invincible to them, but if you do that, you'd have to increase your attack to defeat them in less than five minutes.

Zidane has a skill called Flee, it works 100% of the time, you never have to fight random monsters.

Not really, as long as the gameplay is good. I'm kinda picky on battle systems though. If it's not relatively easy to figure out, I tend to give up.

Of all the FFs I played, IX has the easiest battle system by far. Everything about that game is easy. I lucked out at beat the final boss without putting an ounce of effort in. lol

My favourite FF is VII, probably because it's the first one I played though. Plus I adore the characters and the music. It's so annoying what they did to Cloud in the subsequent games/movies - as Christhor has mentioned. :c

While FFVI is my personal favorite, some of the others are really really good too. Like I understand why IX is so loved. It's an amazing game all around, and has the best ending in the series.

I'd be happy if they made an FFVI remix like they did FF and FFII.

But I'd be more happy if they remade IX with FFXIII level graphics.
