Final Fantasy VII/X-2: Yuna's Gaea Adventure

Cloud got up and looked out the window

 

After the sun had set, Yuna and Tifa woke up.

 

"Reno and Rude are out looking" Cloud said

 

"You have the geostimga, the same as Yuna, right?" Tifa said.

 

Cloud didn't respond

 

Yuna entered the room and listened. Tifa continued, "So, it is. You're gonna give up and die, is that it?"

 

"ther is no cure" Cloud said

 

"Yeah, but that's not stopping Denzel or Ret, is it? Come on, we can face this together!" Tifa sounded determined, Yuna held Jeca in her arms.

 

Cloud didn't say anything

 

After a brief look at Yuna, Tifa sighed and chuckled softly. "I guess that only works for real families."

 

"Tifa ... I'm not fit to help anyone...not my family, not my friends. Nobody." Cloud said

 

"Dilly-dally, shilly-shally." Tifa calmy said.

 

Cloud suddenly looked up

 

"Dilly-dally, shilly-shally!" Tifa said, more intently. Reno and Rude appeared in the room. "I think she's telling you to move on."

"Did you find them?!" Tifa asked, suddenly. They shook their heads. "The children have been taken to their base, the Forgotten City."

"Tifa, take care of Jeca and Ret. Cloud and I are taking there." Yuna gave her Jeca.

 

Cloud nodded and got onto his motercycle and headed to the forgotten continent

Denzel was with the other children

 

Yuna followed him on her own motorcycle.


Kadaj turned to all of the children who had gathered. "Mother has given me a special gift: the power to fight a world that torments humility. She gave this gift to all her children. Yes, you and I are brethren, brothers and sisters who were chosen to inherit Mother's monomeric legacy when we went through the lifestream. But.... the planet doesn't approve that. It's doing it can do to hold us back! That's why it's racking our bodies with pain and filling our hearts with doubt! But follow me! Now do as I do." Kadaj stepped into the water, changing it and drank it.

 

Denzel headed into the water and drank it

 

Kadaj smiled as the rest of children drank the water. Marlene struggled and shouted at Denzel.

 

Cloud continued on

 

As Yuna followed, she looked at the trees and felt different. Soon, she found herself standing in a flower field.
