Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Ryo stumbled back from the kick and looked over at the incoming Daichi. Instead of heading forward he merely held his sword in front of him and stood there keeping his glance at Daichi

A warrior born to fight

 

"Ryo! I can't have you hurting anyone! Turn back now!" he roared as he jumped into the air and unleashed a black and red Celestial Cross. Sending to cross shaped beams of energy towards Ryou.
He roared as he put everything into the attack.

 

Lukya watched from Kari's arms, Yuna looked out and sighed.

 

Ryo swung his sword upwards as a black wave was shot out of Arondight and collided with the Celestial Cross. The moment he fired the wave Ryo jumped into the air and followed the wave. Jumping through the two attack that collided Ryo extended his left arm towards Daichi's head in an attempt to grab it. His left Machina had undergone changes. It was jet black and the fingers tips were blades

 

Daichi still had one advantage.
His instincts.
His instincts were better than anyone's... they would be his saving grace in this fight.
It was his instincts that allowed him to counter Ryo's assault here. He knew... that Ryo would try to get him in mid-air with his Machina arm.
Daichi slammed his two blades into Ryo's hand that was reaching for his head."If I'm going down! You're going down with me!" he yelled.
He didn't have the energy to use Ronso Rage abilities... let alone his 'Nova' attack.
Damn... no choice then...
One more time! CELESTIAL CROSS!" he roared as he sent energy into his blades at close range... the blasts getting caught between them and Ryou's Machina hand.
The result was an explosion of energy that sent them both flying back down to Earth at great speed.
Daichi hit the floor hard, rolled and skidded to a stop. One of his blades landed next to him impaling itself in the ground while the other was still in his hand.
Daichi grimaced and tried to stand, but couldn't... Damn... I seriously doubt that was enough to get him to back down either...
If only I wasn't injured already!
Dammit! his thoughts turned to Salina. She'd be able to calm her brother... he was sure of it... Then he thought of Lukya.
Lukya... I won't die here... I can't let that happen. Not since we've come this far.
He tilted his head and looked from his position on the ground to see Ryo was fine, he had hoped he had inflicted some damage at least though.

 

"Kari, let me go!!!!!!" Lukya shouted, struggling through Kari's grip. Kari tightened her grip on her, "I can't let you go, little princess. This fight is between Daichi and Ryo!" "But Daichi..........." Yuna shook her head, "He'll be fine."

 

Ryo landed on his knee. His body did take a little damage but Ryo got up on his feet no problem. Letting out a demonic roar at the sky, Ryo walked up to Daichi. Upon reaching Daichi Ryo let out a roar and raised his sword high into the air

A beast who cares not for his wounds...Only death will stop him

 

Daichi looked up at Ryo... but something was telling him that it was all okay.
His instincts told him not to worry.

Haruka had run full pelt and leaped into the path of Ryo's strike as it came down.
She had bought out her Knuckle Daggers and caught the blow on them just at the right time.
Now she was the one in a stalemate situation with Ryo.
But unlike Daichi from earlier, she was in near perfect condition.
And... no way was she gonna let any more of her friends get hurt.

 

Lukya ran out of Kari's arms and went to Daichi, she hugged him and cried. Kari facepalmed and watched Haruka as she stopped the attack. She tempted herself to go into her Final Aeon form.

 

Ryo simply pushed down with his sword at Haruka holing the blade with his right hand. Using his machina arm Ryo immediately sent his bladed fingers straight at Haruka's chest

 

Haruka immediately countered, she couldn't move since Daichi and now Lukya were still behind her, she had no choice and stopped his attack using a knuckle dagger to intercept his machina arm.
Now she was holding his sword at bay with just one arm and the claws with her other.
Strangely... she wasn't budging an inch. A strength had over taken her inside.
And... she was glowing again, with marks and symbols over her body. Her eyes had changed so one was shining gold and the other purple.
She spoke through gritted teeth. "...No more.
I've seen the other realities... I've seen the other options... the possibilities... I've seen the pain felt...
The me's of those realities couldn't stop them then... but I... I won't let it happen...
No more."

 

"If you wish for it not to happen then kill me" Ryo said as an aura surrounded his blade

 

Watching Haruka, Lukya whispered to herself and Daichi, 'Just like Dean and Kazuhiro........... Haruka's the same as Dean and Kazuhiro.' Kari ran up in her Final Aeon form and roared.

 

Haruka closed her eyes. "I can't do that Ryo... I've also seen that possibility... and it resulted in the death of Spira... trust me when I say, an upset Final Aeon isn't a good thing." she said a little amused.
She forced all of her power into her fists and pushed against his blades, sending him backwards a few metres.
She was like a different person...
and then she muttered one single word. A name.
"Oracle."
And the marks on her body expanded until she was completely glowing and then replaced by a new form.

 

Ryo skid back and closed his eyes as he held his blade out

 

Lukya stared at Haruka's new form as she held Daichi close. Kari glared at Ryo and tightened a fist.

 

Shugo looked up the new form Haruka took with Yuji still not moving. "That's...?!" he said in surprise.

 

Haruka stood in her transformed state, completely calm.
Her eyes opened. The area's that would have been the whites of her eyes were now purple and gold in opposite eyes while the irises both glowed a shocking red colour, the pupils once black were now green.
Her body was slightly taller than her normal form, her skin a pale blue with patterns of white and black in the same shapes as the glowing symbols she had before, her hair still an amazing red was now three or four times longer than before and floating around her body.
Her body was covered in the appropriate places with loose hanging Garments, with everywhere else showing the symbol covered blue pale skin. She wore bangles on her wrists and around her ankles and held two huge swords that were about the same size as the average man and were seemingly made out of white gemstone..
Her hands themselves had long claw like nails, and around her knuckles were dagger like shapes like her Knuckle daggers, except they were now a part of her body and also made of this white gemstone. Barefooted, she stood on her toes, almost like a force was lifting her slightly. She also had long claw like nails there too...
She seemed to radiate power.



"You've been going around slaying the returned Aeons correct? All to satisfy your own dark power that sword you hold has given you...
Well now you have the chance again.
I possess 'Oracle' The Aeon of Fate and Destiny." Haruka spoke, in a voice that sounded like her own and someone else's at the same time.
"Ryo... let us see where your fate lies."







OOC: The white Gemstone substance of her swords, Daggerknuckles and claws are all the same sort of substance as Tidus's Brotherhood and Daichi's Twin LionHeart.

Also... sorry, I tried looking for a decent picture of what her form could be but I found nothing. So I just designed what she would look like in my mind and wrote it down, hope you can picture it anyway lol
In my head she looks pretty awesome. :/
Anyway, that should answer some questions... If anything, you now know the Aeon she holds and so that should at least explain the visions, but of course there are other things still waiting to be answered too, all will be explained in time lol.

 

Lukya looked at her in awe and wonder, Kari remained where she was in her Final Aeon form, glaring at Ryo. Yuna gasped and stared at Haruka's new form, remembering when Dean changed into Skieth.

 

RYo opened his eyes upon her declaration and twirled his sword over his head and held his sword in front of him. Whether it was both the Final Aeon and the Aeon of Fate and Destiny he couldn't care less
