Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Ryuzaki! You have to survive!" Kari shouted, crying. "You just have to! For your sister! For me! For everyone!"

 

"It's no coincidence he is fighting himself... this is more than just a battle for the right to stay in this world...
It's a battle for Ryuzaki to face his doubts... that's what the other Ryo represents... the parts about himself he has to overcome... the things of his past holding him back..."
It reminded Daichi slightly of his own trial.

 

Ryuzaki got up holding his sword with his left hand and charged forward. He raised his sword ready to slash at Ryo but Ryo closed his eyes "fool" Ryo said and with one slash the sound of blood and a sword dropping echoed the Colosseum. Ryuzaki stood there and gazed at Ryo for a moment, his eyes were widened. Slowly he his gaze looked over at the ground at the sword he dropped. What he didn't expect was on the ground, still holding onto the sword was his left arm laying on the ground . What felt like a few minutes was actually a few seconds in reality. Ryuzaki yelled in anguish

 

Kari gasped, Lukya shook and held Daichi's arm. Yuna looked away.

 

Daichi pulled Lukya close to him. He didn't take his eyes off the battle.
"This is a hunch... but after the trial... as long as he succeeds... he should be fine.
You didn't see what happened in my trial..." he said this... although his voice didn't hide his uncertainty.

 

Lukya looked at him and looked out at Ryuzaki. Kari was visibly shaking from what she saw.

 

Ryuzaki fell to his knees and looked to the ground. "so..this is how it ends" Ryo said and raised his sword "its over"

This is a story of a boy

a boy who wished to protect the only person close to him

He fought to keep the precious person safe. He went threw many trials to protect her

He dedicated himself to protecting his precious sister and to get her to the city of the dead.

But what happened when he failed his task?

He was young...he was broken. The most precious person to him died like the many other people he considered precious

What else is there for a broken man other than to repent for his sins

He dedicated himself to ending the killing machine but even after dedicating his life once more, ready to throw it away in repentance...he found out it was wrong

As he hear the cries of his friends he realizes he just wants the tears to end. He did his best, he work as hard as he could and he couldn't die just yet. If his death will cause tears in her eyes then he will prevent it

"farewell" Ryo yelled as he slashed his sword downwards at Ryuzaki but suddenly was stunned as Ryo managed to pick up his sword and block the attack "I won't let you...I will end the tears" Ryuzaki yelled and pushed Ryo away. Ryuzaki jumped forward and slashed at Ryo forcing him to block "i-impossible how can you stand?" Ryo yelled as Ryuzaki sent a barrage of slashes at Ryo. "Damn you" Ryo yelled as he jumped backward and prepared his sword. Ryuzaki did the same and the two charged forward ready to stab their enemy. Both of them were chareged at each other and the moment they got face to face they sent their swords forward towards the enemies chest. It was close but Ryuzaki managed to plunge his sword in his clones chest

"He's pulled through." Daichi acknowledged calmly.

OOC: Nice choice of song, that was a brilliant one in the game, always sets the mood perfectly XD

 

Kari gave a small smile and wiped away the tears from her eyes. When Lukya looked at her, Kari looked as though she had a look of regret.

 

Dean looked calm and patient until he heard an audible noise only to his ears as he uncrossed his arms "So...he's calling me." He thought to himself, Kazuhiro was commuicating through the Aeons that he shall await them on the Calm Lands.

OOC: This also helps gain Tidus and Yuna's weapons in the process.

 

"you never cease to impress me" Ryo said with the blade still in his chest "you truly gave me a good fight and I enjoyed it. Salina was right to send me to fight you." Ryo said as he slowly turned to pyreflies "yeah I will never forget this fight. It shall always be in my heart" Ryuzaki said as Ryo smiled and disappeared into pyreflies.

As the pyreflies flew away there was a big flash and everybody was transported back to the cave with the old man "you have deemed yourself worth. I have guarded this blade since the time of Zanarkand and I have never thought I would be able to pass on this blade...the legendary Arondight the legendary blade only you can wield" the old man said as he raised his arm and a blade began to form before Ryuzaki. As the blade formed the man became pyreflies and flew away. Ryuzaki looked at the sword in front of him and grabbed it with his remaining arm and pulled it out of the ground. He gazed at the jet black double edged blade that was near to his size. Giving it a few slashes in the air he twirled the sword around and rested it on his shoulder

 

Kari walked up to Ryuzaki and sighed. "Ryuzaki............. Are you okay..........?" Lukya looked at her.

 

"I'm fine" Ryuzaki said with a smile as he looked over at Kari "although it will be hard to live without an arm" Ryo said with a sigh

 

Kari cried and hugged him. She didn't care if she got some blood on her, "I'm sorry. I'm the reason you lost your arm!" She sobbed on his shoulder.

 

"I guess only my trial reverted injuries..." Daichi said quietly..
His hunch had only been a small hope... evidently it was wrong this time.

 

"huh? what are you talking about it was my stupid mistake that I lost my arm" Ryo said hugging her with his arm

 

"The wound is still clean... is there the possibility Yuna could heal you so it reattaches?
It may not be too late..." he said solemnly.

 

Kari cried and held him. Yuna smiled at them. "Then, will you be going on your own way, again, Ryo? Because it seems Kari doesn't want to let you go."

 

Ryo laughed "looks like I'm stuck with you guys for a while" Ryo said with a smile "don't worry about the arm. It was a price I had to take" Ryo said "if anything I will find my own way to deal with it" Ryo said staying positive

 

"Hmph.." Daichi sounded, giving Ryo a friendly single pat on the back...
"You did good."
