Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Kari pulled away and wiped her eyes, smiling. "Well, the least we can do is bandage it." She looked toward the cave's exit and looked at the others. Lukya smiled, and held Daichi's hand. Yuna smiled and nodded. "Where to next, everyone?"

 

Daichi realised he had gotten use to Lukya holding his hand... he was no longer blushing any more like he used to.
"Ryo... could you fight with both hands or what? Cause... I notice... well, that was your sword arm... you might need to get use to wielding a blade with well..." he trailed off, and coughed.
"Either way... if you wanna practice... Let me know."

 

"The Calm Lands...." Dean said suddenly. "Someone's waiting there." He said to them.

 

The girls looked at him, Kari smiled and nodded, heading for the airship. Yuna, Rikku, and Lukya followed her.

 

Dean followed as Tidus was puzzled. "Whose's there?" he asked him and Dean spoke one word. "Kazuhiro." he said to him.

 

Lukya froze for a moment, hearing the name of Kazuhiro. She sighed and looked at the sky.

 

Daichi stayed silent but put a hand on Lukya's shoulder.

 

Lukya looked at him and looked back out. Kari waited as they flew to the Calm Lands.

 

Dean disembarked from the Airship and saw Kazuhiro approaching them. "So, you've come." He said and Dean stared at him calmly. "That's right." He answered as Kazuhiro looked at him.

"So, you chose not to get the Final Summoning in the end, as stubborn as always Dean." Kazuhiro said as Dean gave off a smill smile in a corner of his mouth. "You know me, tearing down the wall between races last time, plus I hate sacrifices." He said as Kazuhiro stared at the group behind Dean.

"Then why are you not focusing on destroying Sin?" He asked as Dean spoke. "We're gonna talk with your boss about Yu Yevon and I know you don't know who or what he is because we're not from this region." He said as Kazuhiro looked at him.

"You remembered..." He said and Dean poked the side of his own head. "All thanks to your hint, but you aren't who you are anymore." He said as Kazuhiro was puzzled. "What do you mean?" He asked as Dean pointed a finger at him.

"You're searching for a way back to where we belonged but Yevon did more than grant you Maester status didn't they?" He asked as kazuhiro started to laugh. "You figured it out?" He asked, still laughing. "Who wouldn't, you been visiting the temples and absorbing the Aeon's powers bit by bit to evolve beyond your own Aeon's power."

"He can do that?" Tidus asked as Dean spoke, eyes never off Kazuhiro. "Yes he can, the Fayth of Gagazet told me by commuicating through my Aeon, but the power of holding them all in his body caused him to eventually mad." He said as Kazuhiro pointed his dagger at Dean. "I have a goal and I need that power to get to it."

Dean reached for a gun. "Face it Kazuhiro, we cannot go back in time now, Corbenik and Skeith may of stopped our aging but even with all of the Aeons in the world, we cannot go back to the past, I've accepted I'll never see my old friends or family again." He said as Kazuhiro stared at him. "Then what will you do?" He asked as Dean closed his eyes. "Persist in the present and believe in the future, that's what I'll do, when I die, perhaps then I'll meet them again, maybe in heaven or at the Farplane."

 

Lukya listened to him and smiled. Yuna, Rikku, and Kari smiled, listening to what he was saying.

 

Daichi nodded as he heard Deans words.

 

"Then how about you show me this resolve?" He asked and Dean looked at him. "I'll be more than happy to, but you want want to go back and see her don't you?" He asked and Wakka was confused. "Her?"

"...My sister who was in a comatose state before that fateful incident, I'll go back in time and meet her!" Kazuhiro said as he flung himself at Dean with an unatural speed with a wild look in his eyes. "This isn't his own strength! He's using his Aeon's?!" Dean thought as and spoke. "That's not good... get away everyone." Dean said and they did as Dean shot a bullet at the incoming Maester but it was deflected. "....Skieth!" Dean had his patterns all over him as he shot another bullet, empowered by his Aeon as Kazuhiro was stopped. "So you mastered your Aeon's power...excellent, all the more for me to take!" he cried out.

"...You really have gone insane...looks like it's my turn to save you." He said as Kazuhiro laughed manaically a shsi patterns were very different now. "What's he doing?" Tidus asked as Dean spoke. "Summoning his Aeon, powered by all of Spira's by force." Dean stated. "Then that's...ten aeons and his own!" Tidus was in surprise and Dean stood there despite the enmorous gap of power between them. "Sure, I have the power of one instead of eleven, but I can't just run away even if I'm facing perhaps, a similar state of Sin or something greater, but unlike him, I don't force power to my will."

Corbernik stood there, all dark and red as Dean stared up at him as their surroundings had changed, taking everyone else too as they were ina sub-space, seperate from Spira but the same space. "You even brought humans into this area? I shouldn't of been surprised." Dean commented.

"You could be destroyed." Tidus said and Dean didn't look at him. "Could be, but I don't care if he's stronger, I'd fight anyway, besides, I have a reason." Dean stated and walked as his form changed without a word as SKieth held his scythe and Corbernik, a huge cannon-like gu as SKeith shot out at the other Aeon and soon, blurs of red and blue were in the air, unseeable to human eyes.

 

"It's his fight Tidus... let him do what he has to do...
You'll want the same when the time comes." Daichi said calmly, his eyes on the battle, darting about; trying to follow it.

 

"But...he's up against eleven Aeons!" Tidus remarked as the blurs paused as the two Aeons with locked in combat before seperating and taking to the skies as an energy blast shot somewhere but was sliced through by the scythe but then, a flash occured an down came tumbing Skieth, covered in smoke.

"Now you're getting serious." Dean's voice commented as he held oout an open ahnd, shooting small energy bullets at him but Corbernik weaved through them as if it was natural to him. "...Should of known." He said and twirled the Scythe again as another huge bulelt came at him and he slice through it but a surprise wa sin stall for him. "Another One!?" The blast connected before he had the chance to stop it and he fell to the ground.

 

"It's his fight... have faith in him." Daichi said calmly. He folded his arms as he continued to watch the battle. Even the time's that Dean/Skieth fell.
He didn't stir. This was something only Dean could do, and he had to do it alone.

 

While Kari watched, she looked around. "It looks like it might take a while, think we stay and cheer him on?" She asked, Rikku nodded. "We got to make sure he wins!" Kari sighed.

 

Dean's Aeon moved quickly to weave and get out of target range but Corbenik's gun was right in his face somehow and so Dean did what any insane person would do when being stared down by a barrel of a gun, he made a comment. "Oh you gotta be kidding me..." And with that said, the trigger was pulled creating a cloud of smoke from the eplosion and he was falling, now reverted to human form as another blast was charging as Dean wasn't moving.

 

Rikku gasped with Yuna, Kari, and Lukya. "Dean!!!!!!" Rikku shouted.

 

"Don't!"
It was hard for Daichi himself to not jump in.
"Dean said to stay back... so we stay..." he said quietly, eyes glaring at Kazuhiro.

 

Rikku stared at Dean, worried. Yuna hoped he would be alright.
