Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Kari, if you're worried about Lukya, please calm down!" Yuna shouted, holding her close. "She's alright!" But it seemed her shout wasn't heard, for Kari growled and attacked Dean.

 

Dean sighed and pulled back his fist. "I'm so gonna regret this... Ryo better not kill me for it either." He mumbled and avoided the attack to connect his fist into kari's stomach and pushed forward, sending her flying across the ground before bouncing a bit. "Okay, you better control whatever is taking ahold of you or I'll keep beating your ass until you change back and trust me, I rather not go for the latter otherwise your boyfriend would kick my ass across Spira and feed me to Sin." Dean commented.

 

Kari groaned, and appeared to change back to normal. She fell to her knees and gasped for air. "Thanks, Dean..........."

 

"...Okay now I want to ask the question on myself and Yuna's brains, what the hell was that?" Dean asked her before flicking his wirst to get it refreshed.

 

Daichi came rushing over.
He had been pre-occupied at the time by an old man called Maechan telling him a long story about the history of the Calm Lands... he hadn't been able to get away and hadn't noticed the others go off.
He looked at Lukya unconscious and then at Kari.. He rushed to Lukya's side kneeling over her along with Yuna to check on her, then he looked at Kari.
"...It happened didn't it?" he asked.

OOC:lol at my excuse for Daichi's absence when he should have been there the whole time.

 

"So you knew all long or just had a feeling about it?" Kari asked Daichi, drinking a potion. Yuna looked at him. "Does this have to do with what happened in Zanarkand?" Lukya groaned and woke up.

 

"I had a hunch... which is what I was trying to hint at back in Zanarkand.. I could tell you didn't want to worry anyone... and so, I thought if you at least knew I had an idea, you wouldn't have to hide it entirely." Daichi said calmly, he looked down at Lukya as she slowly woke up.
He gave her a weak smile.
"You okay?" he asked gently.

 

"I'm fine....... Kari?" Lukya looked at Kari, she smiled. "Hey, little princess."

 

Dean just listened to it all.

 

"Maybe someone else should come with me to collect monsters........" Kari said, concerned. Lukya asked her, "Why?" "The same thing could happen again, Lukya. And since I have no control of this power inside me, I don't want to risk hurting you. So, Daichi, Dean, are you game for hurting nine monsters here in the Calm Lands?"

 

"Hunting? Meh, might as well to pass the time." Dean said, obivously not really botheredd, it would give him to actually do something rather than wait.

 

Kari gave Yuna and Lukya her Chocobo. "Yuna, Lukya, head back to the others and tell them we'll be back right." Yuna and Lukya nodded, getting on and riding back to the others. Kari stretched her arms and turned to her companions, "Alright, boys. Lets go monster hunting!"

 

Daichi looked at Lukya for a second,... "Yeah, I'll go... as part Ronso, my hunting skills will hopefully be useful to you."
He also wanted to as Kari suggested, keep an eye on her...

A witty comment did sort of form in his mind however...
She doesn't want to risk hurting Lukya... so Me and Dean are the ones she asks for instead?
So what... Does she not care about us or something then?
Yup... too much time around Dean..

 

Kari looked around for a monster to capture, and sighed. She turned to Dean and Daichi, "Hey, you're probably wondering why I just happen to pick you guys to come with me."

 

"It did cross my mind... Is it that we are expendable?" Daichi said surprisingly wittingly..

Seriously Dean! Dammit! ...

 

Kari just stared at him and laughed, "No, if I did change into that form again, you would be able to stop me. If Lukya saw me when I was in that form, she'd probably too scared to do anything and I would hurt her. That probably sounds a very selfish way to think about it." She looked embarrassed and stretched the back of her hair.

 

Dean spoke. "Besides, if we were expendable, Rikku would probably kick Kairi's ass and I rather not see an raging form of her." Dean commented and looked at Kari. "I faced worse than that form Kari, trust me, that things borders on a rating of 4 out of 10on a fear factor." He said and got stares from Daichi and Kari, wondering what the the 10th position of Dean's factor of fears was.

"...Seeing one ticked off Rikku scales a 10." Dean said honestly, that was made it so scary, he never seen Rikku angry or ticked off so the thought of imagining it was scary itself, oh and for the record, Sin scaled on a 8.

 

Kari smiled and sighed, shaking her head. "I'm sure if Cid did something in the future like turning the holy city Zanarkand into a tourist attraction with the help of a ex-summoner, Rikku would be very ticked off. Come on, lets see what monsters we can find. Beside, a little distance is good for a relationship."

OOC: Kari is predicting the future of Zanarkand, which does happen the way she says it does.

 

"Hmm... I think my biggest fear would be Lukya mad..." Daichi said.

 

Dean slapped his hand on Daichi's back as he walked. "Welcome to every man's worst fears Daichi." He said, as if he experienced a little bit of that terror before and truth to be told, he was serious, Back home, Rebecca nearly killed him for accidently reading her private diary, he never forgot that moment, luckily he survived by changing her midn to see the palce where they used to play before going on their journey, only only time was Avril's ice Queen persona that shown she was a figure to be reckoned with.
